Kimberly McCullough Kimberly McCullough appearing on AMC

by Dan J Kroll

Another Internet rumor has turned out to be Internet fact. For the past few days, there's been chatter that Kimberly McCullough (ex Robin Scorpio, General Hospital) would be reprising her GH role on All My Children.

The rumor certainly didn't seem outlandish. After all, McCullough played Anna Devane's daughter on General Hospital for many years. Now that Anna (played by Finola Hughes) has showed up in Pine Valley, it seemed to make sense that Robin might show up too.

soapcentral.com has confirmed that the Emmy-winning McCullough will appear on AMC for several episodes near the end of May. Yes, the arrival comes just in time to wrap up the May Sweeps period.

McCullough appeared on General Hospital for 13 years, starting in 1985 and ended in 1998, with about a one-year hiatus in 1996. McCullough left GH because she wanted to attend college on the East Coast. Since GH is filmed in Los Angeles, it made filming episodes for GH and schooling extremely difficult. Since AMC is filmed in New York, it would be much easier for McCullough to appear on AMC on a much more frequent basis. Whether or not McCullough will appear past her May stint is unclear.
