Riegel returns to AMC, will exit again with Braun

Eden Riegel returns to All My Children one more time in April. The actress, who last appeared in February, is returning to tie up loose ends in Bianca's storyline with Tamara Braun's Reese. Both actresses will exit the show in the following weeks, but fans want to know if they'll leave together as lovers... or part ways for good.


As promised, Eden Riegel (Bianca Montgomery) returns to All My Children in April. The Emmy-winning actress reprises her groundbreaking role and provides what so many of the actress' fans hope will be a fairytale ending for the couple affectionately known as "Rianca," Reese Williams and Bianca Montgomery.


In February, after learning from Ryan that Reese and Zach Slater had shared a passionate kiss, Bianca ultimately left Reese and Pine Valley behind. To the surprise of some viewers, actress Tamara Braun (Reese Williams) stayed behind, but she didn't go after Zach the way that some had thought. Instead, Reese was involved in a scuffle with Zach, a scuffle that resulted in Reese losing her eyesight.


Riegel has made a series of return appearances to All My Children since exiting her full-time gig on the show in May 2005. Most of her comings and goings have been tied to romantic relationships -- first Maggie Stone, then with Lena Kundera, followed by rock star Zarf/Zoe. Will Reese be next in that series?


She should be if Riegel has anything to say about it.


In an interview with Soap Opera Digest earlier this year, Riegel remarked, "It's going to end well for Reese and Bianca. Their love is real. I have hope."


Adds Braun in an interview with Advocate.com, "Reese is a woman who absolutely loves Bianca. She is not perfect and has regrets about how she has handled certain aspects of their relationship. But if Bianca could forgive her and they are able to move forward, then I believe Reese will do everything in her power to make Bianca happy. "


Riegel returns to All My Children beginning April 24.
