This week, Jordi Vilasuso (Griffin Castillo) makes his eagerly awaited debut on All My Children. Since announcing Vilasuso's addition to the AMC cast, ABC has only released bits and pieces about the Emmy-winning actor's new role. Until now.
ABC has released a webisode that chronicles some of Griffin's pre-Pine Valley backstory. In the online story, Griffin is introduced as a doctor who apparently sang his heart out to a Shakira tune in order to woo an attractive female reporter for Telemundo.
Elsewhere, All My Children has already revealed that Griffin will feature into storyline involving Jake and Amanda. The doctor is also rumored as a potential love interest for Kendall.
"With Jordi's talented portrayal, the entrance of Griffin Castillo to Pine Valley promises to be filled with joy, passion and mystery," AMC executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers said of the actor's hiring.
The webisode was directed and produced by Enza Dolce Nini, who is responsible for directing most of All My Children's remote sequences. Sara Saedi wrote the episode.
Vilasuso first airs on All My Children on November 16.
This webisode featured the song "Primavera Anticipada" by Laura Pausini.
