Lucci has first Army Wives rehearsal

Susan Lucci has reported to work for her first post-All My Children job. The actress landed a short-term role on the cable series, Army Wives.
As first reported last month, Susan Lucci (Erica Kane) has booked a recurring role on the Lifetime drama series, Army Wives.
The actress took to Twitter to express her excitement over her the new gig -- and the reunion with former All My Children star Kim Delaney (ex-Jenny Gardner).
"So excited to have first rehearsal for my arc on Army Wives yesterday," Lucci beamed. "What a great cast...such fun to work with [Kim Delaney]."
Lucci will play the wife of a retired general who gives Delaney's character valuable advice on how to deal with a potential rival.
In September, Lucci announced that she was still in talks to join the Internet-based version of All My Children. To date, no deal has been announced.
