It hasn't been long since news of the upcoming online soap opera network, SudsvilleTV, hit the daytime community, and it already has two big-name soap stars interested in signing on.
In addition to former Guiding Light star Michael O'Leary (ex-Rick Bauer), Soap Opera Digest reports that former All My Children star Darnell Williams (ex-Jesse Hubbard) is currently in talks to join SudsvilleTV creator Meg Kelly's soap for the network, titled Year Rounders.
"I've talked to Meg about SudsvilleTV and I'm really excited," Williams told the publication. "The pilot script for Year Rounders is amazing. Fans should definitely sign up at SudsvilleTV.com and be a part of revitalizing a great industry."
Started by Emmy-winning soap opera writer Meg Kelly in conjunction with Joseph Craig and Conklin-Infracom, SudsvilleTV is an online network aimed at soap opera-based audiences. Slated for an official launch date sometime this fall, the network has already started a website that encourages fans to sign up for updates as well as prizes, including a possible dinner with Williams himself.
