All My Children actress Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane) gave fans a scare when she suddenly took a spill while walking the runway for an American Heart Association event. But like one would expect, she made a graceful recovery.

All My Children fans are still recovering after finding out that daytime icon Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane) nearly had a heart-attack and considers herself "lucky to be alive" after the scare that led to emergency heart surgery last fall. And the actress just gave fans another scare: she fell while walking the runway for an American Heart Association event.

The 72-year-old took part in the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection event on Thursday, where she donned an elegant red gown. During her runway walk, she decided to give a spin to the adoring crowd -- which ended in what looked to be quite a harsh fall.

As would be expected from Lucci, who has established herself as the epitome of class in her several decades-long career, she handled the embarrassing moment with grace. Lucci's fall was captured on video by journalist Mara Schiavocampo, and as fans can see below, after the actress hits the ground, she makes an "oops" gesture to the crowd and carefully gets back to her feet before taking a bow to the cheering crowd. Thankfully, it appears the actress suffered no real injury from the fall and was able to laugh off the mishap.

Lucci's fall comes just days after the star revealed she had to have emergency heart surgery a few months back. Following the procedure, the Emmy winner signed on as a national volunteer and spokesperson for the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign, hence the red dress and attendance of this week's charity event.

"I'm not a nurse or anyone who can help in any real way, but this is the way I can help. I can tell my story," she shares. "Everyone's symptoms are different, but I felt compelled to share mine. Even if it's one person I help. That is someone's life."
