Lucci Gets the Key to NYC
Susan Lucci is learning what it means to be a winner.
The actress stepped into exclusive company last weekend when she won a daytime Emmy Award for best actress, after losing her first 18 nominations. Now she's in another exclusive club.
On Thursday, New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani presented the soap star with the key to the city, honoring her win.
Dressed for the occasion in a red spaghetti-strap dress, Lucci said she suspected all along that winning was better than losing.
"I somehow instinctively knew it would be much better to win," she joked.
