Amanda lustily watched Aidan stretch on the beach. She asked him to take pictures of her for her sick mother. Aidan was more than happy to oblige. She offered to buy him a soda but he left for his jog. Later, Amanda saw him returning and ran into the water and pretended to be drowning. Aidan rescued her and as he began CPR, she began a passionate kiss.

Jack and Erica were back home and Erica wanted to keep the yacht compass as a souvenir of their honeymoon. Jack accosted the man he'd noticed staring at Erica in Charleston, now there at the Pine Valley Yacht Club. He later apologized, after realizing the man lives in Pine Valley and is a member of the yacht club. The stranger was gallant and not offended. Erica was certain she had met him before. Later, she complained about the complications of true north vs. magnetic north and Jack offered her true love as the only navigation she needs. He gave her a new cell phone and she promised to not interfere and to wait for Kendall to call her.

Kendall and JR kissed and she guessed it was a "kiss the generous married woman" kiss. They argued about Chandler Enterprises and JR got ugly and threatening when he realized Kendall couldn't get it back for him. JR was desperate to save Chandler Enterprises. Zach showed up and JR belittled him for giving up on taking over Cambias, suggesting he reinstate the lawsuit. Kendall suggested she and Zach had better things to do than go after Ethan. JR vowed to be there to blow Ethan away, right after Ethan blows Zach away. Kendall was very begrudgingly grateful to Zach for his timing and saving her. Zach had papers for her signature but she laid down her own marriage ground rules for him, asking him not to interfere in her life. Erica overheard that and ran up, gushing with pride that Kendall stood up to him. Zach proudly announced their marriage and Erica was not amused.

Babe came home and Jamie was nervous about talking about Amanda's visit. He asked if she is really as happy as she pretends to be. She insisted she is and Jamie promised to give her the life she deserves. Babe wondered what had happened to make him question things and he suggested they get married right away but she refused, saying she wanted to wait the six months they'd already agreed on.

Maria talked to Ryan at the hospital about his procedure. Ryan thanked her for whatever she said that made Greenlee still believe in a future with him. Maria confirmed his procedure was a success and asked why he'd had it done and wondered if it was because of Edmund. Ryan complained about his genes and fears of the future. Maria told him she admired his decision. They bonded and hugged. Later, Jack came to see Ryan at home and Ryan blew up at him, saying he's taken care of Jack's concerns about Greenlee.

Greenlee was at the fertility clinic, insisting that Ryan's little swimmers be defrosted immediately and placed inside her. The clinic staff asked for her OB doctor's name and referral. Greenlee stonewalled so the staff suggested she just find her husband and make it easy. Greenlee pulled out cash to bribe the staff and was eventually asked to leave. In all the commotion, the clinic owner, Dr Madden, came out to investigate. He was the same man that Jack and Erica saw at the Yacht Club. He took Greenlee into his office and she confided in him. He concluded she wanted the baby for the most unselfish reasons. She was thrilled, but less so when he suggested Ryan should be there to agree. His interest seemed piqued when she mentioned her family and Erica Kane being her new stepmother. He insisted on Ryan's signature in order to do the procedure she wanted and to avoid litigation.

Greenlee went to the Fusion office to enlist Simone in her plan; Simone agreed to be her puppet, as long as Greenlee continued to post bail as needed. She was less enthused when Greenlee said they were going to steal Ryan's sperm.

Aidan told Amanda that although he didn't know who she was, she got and A in kissing and a D- in fake drowning. She told him that she would stick to what she does best, grabbed him and kissed him again. Amanda asked him if he knew she was faking, why did he go into the water after her. He told her it was a good chance to practice his breast stroke. Amanda asked Aidan if he was seeing someone. He told her that he didn't need any other complications in his life right now. She told him that girlfriends were like speed bumps, they slow you down, but don't get in the way. Amanda told him that she could make him forget all the complications in his life. Amanda admired the way Aidan looked as he walked away but as she turned around, J.R. was there and called her a double dealing bitch.

J.R. went to Ethan's office and Ethan told him he was expecting him. J.R. told Ethan that Kendall did a good job of hosing both of them. Ethan told J.R. that there was no way he would go back to Kendall. He told J.R. that there was no way he would trust him again. Ethan told J.R. that he knew the only reason he was there was to try to stop the systematic destruction of Chandler Enterprises. J.R. told Ethan that he would get close enough to Kendall and Zach and be a spy for him. Ethan told him to go ahead and spy and he would determine how valuable the information he acquired is. Simone brought Ethan a gift at his office: a pair of bowling shoes. Ethan told her he had never bowled before and she told him that there is nothing funnier than a first time bowler. Ethan protested, but Simone flirted him into it.

Kendall told a surprised Erica that nothing will make her change her mind about staying married to Zach. Erica grabbed Kendall and hugged her. Erica told Kendall she knew what drove her to this, but Kendall said she wasn't driven to this decision and that this was the first thing that made sense. Kendall told her that there was nothing to fix in her confused brain. Erica asked Kendall why she would have married Zach. Kendall told Erica that she doesn't do love well, that is why she married Zach. Erica told her that the walls she is putting up will only hurt her. Erica said that she was the spokesmodel for bad relationships, but she kept trying and finally found Jack. Kendall told Erica that in their own warped way, she and Zach were perfect for each other. She told Erica that she would settle for Zach and the ring Zach gave her so that for once in her life she could concentrate on herself and not a man. Erica asked Zach when he was divorcing Kendall. Erica told Zach that she would not stand by and watch him ruin her daughter's life. Zach told Erica that he would stay married to Kendall as long as she wanted to stay married to him. He told her that he got Kendall into this and he would see her through. Erica than asked Zach how the widow Maria reacted. Zach warned her to stop, but she continued to taunt him with Maria. He told her she was walking a fine line and she warned him that she was a dangerous woman. Kendall told Zach that Erica would go after him and not give up and he said that he knew, but eventually everyone gets tired. Kendall told Zach that she knows why she would stay married to him and asked why he wanted to stay married to her. Erica, banging on Maria's door said that it was all her fault and that she was going to fix it now.

Ryan told Jack that he had taken care of everything. Jack asked if they were getting divorced and Ryan told him on the contrary they were going to do whatever it took to make this marriage work. Just then the mystery lady walked through the front door and handed Ryan a key. Jack demanded to know who the woman was and what the key would unlock. Ryan assured Jack that if that rage and anger reared its ugly head, he would be outta there and never return. Greenlee came in and Ryan told her that he and Jack were working out a few things. Greenlee and Ryan toasted to a marriage full of surprises.

Simone asked Greenlee if she had been sniffing hairspray when she asked her to help steal Ryan's sperm. Simone told her that the only swimmers she paid attention to were in an Olympic-size pool. Greenlee told Simone about the surgery and that they would have to steal the sperm tonight. Simone said that she would like to just kick Ryan for doing that to her. Greenlee told Simone that Ryan made a deposit at the sperm bank and they were going to bring the swimmers home to mama. Simone told her that this wasn't such a good idea, but Greenlee told Simone that she is doing this for Ryan. Simone told her not to even look at her for help with the insemination part and went on about failing miserably while trying to baste her turkey. Kendall walked into Fusion and wanted to know what was going on. Kendall again apologized to Greenlee for not telling her about Ryan's surgery. Kendall told Greenlee that she didn't want to see her blow her relationship with Ryan.

Tad searches for anything with Dixie's fingerprints, and asks Jamie if he has anything. When Babe questions Jamie about the phone call, he replied "He's on to something, or someone." Babe immediately lashes out at Jamie about keeping bike parts in the apartment. She tells him to "Dump your bike parts wherever you want the same way Tad dumped Momma in prison." Because Tad hasn't been to see Krystal in prison, Babe fears that her mother is going to automatically get dumped. When Jamie explained that Dixie was a great mother to both him and JR and he wanted her back, Babe accused Jamie of not liking Krystal and stormed off to work.

Tad is sorting through boxes stored at the office he shares with Aidan, looking for anything with Dixie's fingerprints. He explained that he took Di's compact from her purse to compare prints, and Aidan agrees to help. The two sort through mementos of Tad and Dixie's life together. They finally find a snow globe, which Aidan said would be a perfect surface to test for prints. It did produce a clear fingerprint, and the comparison proved it matched the print on Di's compact.

Unannounced, Erica arrives at Maria's, accusing her of wrecking peoples' lives. She urges Maria to go to Zach and tell him he is making a mistake marrying Kendall. Erica said Maria must know that Zach loves her, that he married Kendall as a gesture for his son's sake and to get her attention. Maria said she was having so many problems with her kids, that they have to be her priority now.

After Erica leaves, Maria goes through Maddie's computer, and asked Sam for his sister's password. He refused, but Maria convinced him to look through Maddie's email because she thought the girl might be in trouble. He does, and, surprised by what he finds, shows it to Maria.

Erica goes to Kendall's condominium and runs into JR outside. JR tells Erica about Kendall's agreement to get Chandler Enterprises back for JR, but the deal fell through when Zach dropped the lawsuit. JR tells Erica how much he cares for Kendall, and Erica asks JR for his help in breaking up "that sorry excuse of a marriage." In return, Erica said she would get Chandler Enterprises back for him. JR agrees.

Kendall tells Zach all the reasons they had for staying married gone, except for the gaming licenses which could be handled with a simple contract. She said that since they were never going to be a real couple, why should they stay married? Kendall admitted that Zach was protecting her from the "L" word, and asked him if he married her to avoid Maria. He described their relationship and admitted she was his one true love. Zach gets a page and goes to a motel, believing he is meeting Maria. Instead, he finds Maddie, who rips her clothes and screams for help, saying Zach is hurting her.

JR and Amanda have another altercation – he said if she makes one more mistake, she's going to ruin the whole plan, referring to flirtation with Aidan. Amanda assures him she is still working on breaking up Babe and Jamie. JR issues the challenge for Amanda to stay out all night (with Jamie). She immediately calls Jamie and pretends JR was following her at the beach and she was afraid. Jamie rushes to assist her. Amanda pulls out all the stops to seduce Jamie.

Thursday, JUNE 9, 2005

Maria and Sam arrive at the motel as Maddie is screaming for help, claiming that Zach assaulted her. Maria herds everyone into the motel room and closes the door. She expresses disbelief in what Maddie says happened, and is even less convinced when Maddie brings up the situation from the airport. Sam, on the other hand, is outraged. The location, Zach's presence and Maddie's ripped blouse is enough to convince him that something went terribly wrong. Maria demands the truth, but all Maddie will do is express horror that her mother won't believe her and instead, is taking her ex-lover's side. Infuriated, Sam declares that he is going to call the cops and heads for the door. Maria demands that he stay in the room so that they can work this out as a family, but her son isn't hearing it. He opens the door, and finds the motel manager on the other side. He's investigating because everyone heard the screaming, and he wants to put an end to it. Maria insists that everything is under control, but the manager, after surmising that Zach may have attacked Maddie, isn't so sure. He thinks the cops need to be called as well, but Maria forbids it. Aghast, the manager asks if she, as their mother, is really going to side with a pervert. At that, Zach intervenes and reminds the manager that he couldn't have checked for identification when Maddie rented the room. Realizing that he was caught, the manager leaves in a huff. Maria closes the door, and her fury starts to come to the surface. She is livid at the stunt Maddie tried to pull off, but the kids aren't backing down. They are angry that yet again, Maria is protecting Zach and covering up for him. Knowing that nothing happened, Maria denies doing any such thing. Maddie swears that she isn't lying about Zach attacking her, and points to the emails on her laptop as proof. They hash it out some more, and it finally comes out that Maddie made a promise to her father that Zach would pay for all his supposed crimes, and she was trying not to break that promise. She can't live with the idea that her father died for nothing. The weight of the truth finally landing on her shoulders, Maria finally tells her children that because Zach isn't leaving, they need to get away. Maddie misunderstands and says that a summer vacation won't fix anything. Maria clarifies by saying that she wants them to get away for good. Maddie is somewhat resistant at first, but Maria tells her that she talked to Hayley and Mateo, and they would be able to stay with them if they go out to California. Sam thinks that his mother is running away, but Maria tells her children that they just need a fresh start in a new place where they can heal. She admits how much she has done wrong, and knows how much that has hurt them - and she doesn't want to put them through anymore. Maddie thinks that Zach will follow them, but Maria promises that after tonight, she will never see nor speak to him again. Maria announces that she is willing to do whatever it takes to get her family back together. They look into her eyes and see that she is being truthful, and in that moment, they are willing to give her another chance. The children leave, and after one long look back to say a final goodbye, Maria follows suit.

Erica returns home and confesses that she broke her promise and went to see Kendall. She thinks that Jack will be furious but tells him that he can save his lecture. She is surprised, however, when he admits that he too failed to keep his promise by making the Lavery residence the only stop on his route that evening. Jack updates Erica on his conversation with Ryan. Erica is happy that Jack realizes Ryan isn't all bad, but Jack modifies the statement by saying that while he is slightly more optimistic than he had been - he still doesn't completely trust his son-in-law. Erica is still happy about the development, and expresses her wishes about being assured that Kendall would find the same happiness. Jack thinks that Kendall held her own fairly well while they were in Florida, but Erica hints that there are some things he doesn't know. She then segues into a comment about how JR cares for Kendall almost as much as Erica does. With no good feelings about JR, Jack admits that he hopes the young mogul cares only as a friend. He then tells his new bride that while Kendall has made some bad decisions, she is maturing and learning to learn from her mistakes. Seeing no other solution, Erica reveals that Kendall married Zach. Before he can express too much surprise, they are interrupted by Reggie and Dani, who practically fall into the apartment, locked in a kiss, unaware of their audience. They stay lip-locked for a few moments before Reggie realizes that his parents are watching. They break apart quickly and announce that they still expected to be alone. They force some uncomfortable small talk for a minute, and then Reggie suggests that he and Dani leave them alone. Jack and Erica thoughtfully decline, and instead force more small talk. Jack tries to get a message across to his son that he wouldn't have any more alone time with his girlfriend that evening, but before they can delve into the subject, Lily returns home, bursting with good news. She reveals the news about Kendall marrying Zach and while Reggie seems slightly taken aback, Erica and Jack reveal that they knew. Lily is surprised that no one is happy, and Erica simply says that it's a complicated situation, but that everyone wants for Kendall to be happy. Happy with that answer for the moment, Lily launches into uncomfortable territory, asking why her parents aren't having sex if they are still on their honeymoon. They try to give her obvious clues that it isn't a topic for general conversation, but even that combined with Reggie's audible discomfort doesn't get her to stop. They try to stop her one more time, and though she doesn't understand, Lily gives up and retires to her room. Reggie thinks that this will be a pattern and he will get another shot at being alone with Dani. Much to his chagrin, his parents strongly suggest taking Dani directly home. Stumped for words, Reggie has no choice but to agree. When they leave, Jack suggests that he and his new wife indulge in some marital activities and when she agrees, he picks his bride up. She squeals with delight, and Lily calls out that she can still hear them. It's then that Erica suggests that starting tomorrow they look for a new place to live.

Ryan and Greenlee try to reconnect over a romantic dinner, complete with candlelight and all of Greenlee's favorite foods. Greenlee is grateful for all that Ryan did, but she can't pretend that nothing happened. Ryan doesn't blame her and said that he would feel the same way if she had done something similar. Even though Greenlee runs down the plus side of what having a child could have given them, Ryan believes that the dream of their future together is not gone. He starts to tell her about a business idea that he has, and she is slightly incensed at his thought that a business deal could replace a child. He tells her that he is offering her a new life - one that she might not want right now, but one that she could grow to embrace in time. He just asks for the opportunity to show her how much he loves her and how good their life could be together if they just stick it out until they get to the other side. Greenlee tells her husband that she wants to stay with him for the long haul because the kind of love they have is not something that is given up easily. Still, she admits, she hates what he did to himself because she thinks he deserves better. The one patch of blue sky in their storm is that she can't see her life without him, and she then promises to do whatever it takes to get through this latest battle. They seal the promise with a kiss.

A short time later, they wrap up dinner by feeding each other a few last morsels. Greenlee announces that she is full, but Ryan tells her that she needs to have room for one more thing. He goes over to the edge of the balcony and reveals a present from a secret hiding place. They hadn't had a surprise a day in a while, so he is trying to catch up. She opens it, and finds a small statue from Japan. Ryan tells her that it's supposed to bring you good luck, and make all your dreams come true. Greenlee stares at the statue and daydreams about Ryan holding their baby as she looks on. Ryan calls her back to the present, and she asks about his dreams. He tells her that the evening they spend together was his dream. Then, they move inside, and after he pours her a drink and puts on some music, they lie back on the couch and cuddle. Ryan takes his turn at daydreaming, and pictures them in the same situation, only dressed elegantly in all black. In his daydream, Greenlee wants pizza and he offers her Italy. The freedom to do whatever they want is his dream, and in it, he is all Greenlee needs to be happy. In the here and now, he asks if she is happy and she tells him that she is getting there. She daydreams again, and in it, Ryan is dressed to the nines, and he beholds his wife and son descending the stairs, dressed in a similar fashion. In her daydream, Ryan is happier than he ever thought possible, and beyond grateful to her for giving him a son. He is ecstatic that they are the most important things in his life. In it, he believes that they saved him from himself. Back in the present, Greenlee admits that she was afraid and had doubts because she couldn't see their future, but now she can, and she is free.

Kendall arrives home, and drops some of her mail while sorting it at her door. When she bends over to pick it up, JR approaches her silently from behind. She isn't surprised and identifies him from the smell of his cologne. She isn't in the mood to deal with him, but he tries to improve her mood with a kiss. A few moments later, they are inside Kendall's place and JR admits that the purpose of his visit is to deliver an apology. Kendall smirks, amused at his version of an apology, and then flippantly tries to send him away because she hadn't invited him in. JR confesses that his actions were because he had lost his way of getting Chandler Enterprises back. He further confesses that he is concerned that what he did ended what they had. Noncommittally, Kendall pretends to be distracted by her mail. When she sees an opening, she blithely asks after Ethan. Without thinking, JR starts to rip on his sometimes-foe. Kendall interrupts him before he can get too far, announcing that JR's true motives were as clear as day. She now knows that JR went sniffing around Ethan, and when he was shut out, he came crawling back to her. JR tries to convince her that she is wrong, if only because hanging out with her is much more interesting than pretending to suck up to Ethan. Kendall, having seen just about all of his moves, isn't buying it. He tells her that she can believe whatever she wants, but he claims to know her secret. Her curiosity surpassing her fury, she demands to know what he thinks her secret is. After pushing a few more of her buttons, he reveals that the last time he checked, he was her only friend. Kendall insists that she has friends, but when asked to list them, she is hard pressed to come up with any real answers. Realizing that JR's thoughts on her secret are a little too close to home, she gets angry again and doesn't want to delve any farther into the subject. JR tries to offer Zach as a potential friend, but Kendall tells him that both her husband and his son are off limits when they talk. JR backs down quickly and says that he just wanted her to know that he was her best friend and she could confide in him if she needed to vent. Amused, Kendall reminds him that only does not mean best, and that she will really toss him out on his ear if he doesn't drop the subject. JR finally relents and goes back to trying to get her into bed. He offers her some compliments, but she thinks they are two unwanted people. He tells her that he wants her, and accomplishes his goal.

Aidan digitally reviews some of the pictures that he took of Amanda on the beach earlier that day over a drink at the Roadside Bar. While cleaning up a nearby table, Babe snoops and sees a series of shots. She mentions that she didn't know Amanda and Aidan were friends, and he tells her they don't really know each other. He then explains that he took the pictures of her for her mother as a favor, and she must have slipped the camera in his pocket. Babe thinks what Amanda wanted to do was a sweet gesture, but Aidan isn't quite so sure, which interests Babe. Aidan tells her that Amanda is good at "making friends", but Babe misses the point. She takes the camera, takes a closer look at the pictures, and notes aloud that Amanda's expression makes it seem they are a lot closer. Aidan points out that things aren't always what they seem. Babe confesses that she and Jamie are worried about Amanda, but Aidan is certain that she can take care of herself. Normally, Babe would agree, but not while Amanda is living in JR's house.

Later, as Aidan prepares to leave, Babe stops him and tells him that she was wrong for freaking out on them when she found out he and Tad were looking for Dixie. She thinks that if they found her, things would change radically - for the better. She asks if they've made any progress, but Aidan tells her that all the details have to remain confidential while the case is still ongoing. Babe insists that she understands, and offers him a drink on the house. Aidan then steers the conversation back to Amanda. Babe admits that it's great to have a close friend again, one that doesn't hold her past against her. She tells Aidan that she and Amanda get each other. He gives her a tip and she thanks him for that, and the conversation. He starts to go, but then remembers the camera and leaves it with her, asking her to return it to its owner.

On the beach, Amanda continues to throw herself at Jamie, despite his protests. Jamie insists that them hooking up won't happen but Amanda isn't taking no for an answer and manages to throw Jamie down on the beach towel. He struggles to get up, and then struggles with her to keep her robe on. Amanda stumbles around, seemingly drunk, and talks about how hot Jamie is, as if that explains why they should hook up. She then pointedly notes that she is very thirsty, and this immediately catches Jamie's attention. He remembers Babe's behavior when JR drugged her and realizes that it is very similar to the way Amanda is acting. He confirms that JR gave her something to drink, and then insists that he has to take her to a hospital. The façade slips a little as the very sober Amanda realizes that she needs to do some quick thinking. She makes up a story about how her father will think she can't take care of herself if he finds out that she went to the hospital. She bemoans that she won't survive living at home because no one really cares about her. She then slips in that she only had a sip of the juice, after realizing quickly that it tasted bad. She convinces him to stay with her until the small amount of the drug wears off. In addition, she promises to go to the hospital without a fight if she got worse.

A short time later, Amanda and Jamie are lying on the beach, while she "recovers." She tells him that she was trying to hide from a truth that he might think is stupid. He urges her to spill, and she admits that no one really gives a damn about what happens to her. Jamie insists that Babe cares about her, and tells her that Babe is constantly worried with Amanda living at the Chandler Estate. Amanda in grateful for having Babe as a friend, but wants to know how Jamie feels. Jamie tells her that he cares, of course, but Amanda wants to know if he's really just sorry because JR "drugged" her. Jamie confirms that he really cares about her, and that the past they share solidifies their friendship. Amanda notes that although she goes way back with JR as well, it hasn't made a difference. Jamie assures her that he will take care of JR. Amanda then tells him that she feels better, and thanks him. Jamie then notes that she is cold, and he picks her up so they can leave. She reminds him no hospitals, and he simply tells her that he is going to take her somewhere safe.

Kendall watches Zach return home from the darkness of her living room, while across town, Ryan and Greenlee finally reconnect as husband and wife.

Friday, JUNE 10, 2005

Tad interrupts Adam's phone call and tells him that he has some information about Di that can't wait and affects JR. JR comes in, walking next to Di, and tells him that he knows Tad is talking about his mother. JR tells them that he has no time for Tad's stories and takes Di upstairs to rest.. JR and Di go into the nursery and tells her that he missed her. Di tells JR that it is time she tells him how she knows Tad, but JR says he does not care and knows Tad is up to something. Di tries to blurt out she has been lying, but JR interrupts her and tells her that it does not matter now. JR says that when he got custody of his son, he thought he couldn't trust anyone anymore, until she showed up. JR leaves and when Di starts singing to the baby, Stewart comes in and helps her finish the song. Stewart tells her that JR misses his mother, she was his balance between good and bad in life. He adds that they were good friends and could always cheer each other up. Stewart admits that a sadness has settled over the family since she died and it makes his days even loner, especially now because Marion is gone for two weeks. Di tells him that he will be fine and he agrees. Stewart says that when Dixie died, everyone's worlds starting to fall apart.

Adam does not understand how Tad could be right. After all, if she was Dixie, why would she lie?, he asks. JR overhears and tells Tad that Dixie is dead and Di is the nanny. Tad tells them both that he lifted Di's fingerprints and they match Dixie's. Tad tells them about taking Di's compact and matching the prints to something Dixie touched. JR refuses to see the evidence, claiming that his mother would never stay away from him for so long, if she were alive. She would have gotten in touch with him and not lied about it, he says. Adam starts to believe Tad and when JR accuses him of faking the prints, Tad is baffled. JR says if she ever cared about him, he would stop messing with his head. Tad tells him that Dixie is alive and he can barely believe it. Adam tries to console JR, but it does not help and JR starts lashing out at his father. He accuses his father of conspiring with Tad to get Colby back and says that Di should get a DNA test. JR tells Tad to get out of his life, but Tad tells him not to ignore the evidence. Di walks in and tells them that she heard the yelling then admits that she is Dixie.

Simone comes over to Greenlee's with the items she requested, but Greenlee opens the door before she can knock. Ryan comes out and asks what is going on. Greenlee tells him she and Simone are planning the next publicity campaign and Simone notes, "Good thinking," which nearly blows their cover. Ryan leaves to do some work and Greenlee scolds her. Greenlee asks for Simone's social security number and checkbook because the clinic will ask for it before they inseminate her with Ryan's sperm. Simone gawks at her and tells Greenlee their plan is not going to work. Greenlee comes out, dressed like Simone, and instead of stealing the sperm, she is going to pretend to be Simone. Greenlee heads over to the fertility clinic where she is greeted by the nurse who almost threw her out the other day. Pretending to be Simone, she tells the nurse that she is single and wants to be artificially inseminated. Greenlee is taken into a room to speak to a specialist. She hands her the necessary paperwork that needs to be filled out and tells her the type of man she wants to be the father of the child, describing Ryan, without revealing his name.

Ryan goes to Fusion to find Greenlee, but Simone says Greenlee is gone and she did not know where she went. Ryan can tell Simone is lying and asks her why she is covering up for Greenlee. Simone ignores him and starts asking him about the blonde woman he met at the club.

Zach hands out some information to his employees at the casino, which is up and running, as Kendall walks in and hands him his gaming licenses. Zach thanks her, although Kendall is less than happy about how she had to flirt with the scumbags to get his license. Zach offers to give a kiss, then a car, for what she did, but he realizes something else is bothering Kendall. She tells him that nothing is going on with her life, but Zach tells her that being alone gets easier over time. Kendall disagrees, citing all of her experience in life. Ryan comes into the casino and when Zach refuses his gambling offer, Kendall takes his bet. Ryan tells her that he and Greenlee are doing great and still married. Kendall is not sure that Greenlee forgave him because of her desire to have his child. Ryan tries to get Kendall to see that Greenlee understands, but Kendall won't change her mind. She wagers that they gamble all of their money that Greenlee won't give up on having his child. Ryan wins the first round of cards, but Kendall says he won't be so lucky with his marriage. He walks off angrily and knocks over a chair. Zach walks back in and Kendall scolds him for not rushing to her aid sooner. Zach says that the way to get to Ryan is to prove him wrong.

Erica goes to visit the new fertility doctor, Dr. Madden. Erica says that she would like to find a woman who wants to have a child but can not conceive and that they can give a child too. She tells him that New Beginnings is a way to give hope to the cheated and ignored women in America. Erica tells him that he could be a guest on the show and help a woman who wants a child, but is unable to conceive. She says that it could give other women hope. Dr. Madden thanks Erica for the offer, but says it is not the right time to publicize his practice. He offers to help her in a year or two, but Erica brushes him off and asks him to consider her show. She asks for a tour of the clinic and Dr. Madden calls the nurse to give her a tour. Erica and the nurse pass Greenlee who is looking through a book of donors. Greenlee squeals with glee when she finally narrows it down to three descriptions fitting Ryan, just as Erica walks by. Erica is shocked to see Greenlee there in costume and asks her who she is supposed to be.

Maria asks Sam why he is opposed to going to California and he tells her that he loves Pine Valley. He says that he understands why she wants to move because of Maddie's ridicule, but this is their home. Maria says that relocating will solve the problems. Sam says she is the problem, not Zach or their father's death. Sam says that when they thought she had died, it destroyed Edmund inside, even if he pretended to be brave. Eventually, they got numb and used to the fact that she had died, and the pain began to heal when Brooke came along, Sam said. He said that he liked Brooke and was happy when she came back, but it was hard because she did not remember them for a long time. Sam said that Maria had her life with Zach and that her disappearance didn't matter. He is honest with her and says that he wants to stay here to learn more about his biological family, the Martins, not to get revenge on her. Maria realizes that if she makes Sam go to California, he will just run back to Pine Valley. Sam admits that he would and that he needs to stay in Pine Valley and figure some things out. Maria hugs Sam and tells him that she is not sure she can leave her him.
