Ryan went to see Kendall at her home, but found Zach and Annie there instead. Annie was upset to discover that Ryan was seeking out Kendall's company again, so she left. Zach told Ryan that he was being insensitive to Annie's feelings. Zach asked Ryan to sit and talk with him. Zach explained that they were good friends and that he wanted to help. Ryan accused Zach of wanting to keep Kendall away from him. Zach admitted that he was protective of Kendall, just like Ryan was protective of Annie in the past. Then, Rachael brought Spike into the room. Zach introduced Ryan to his son. Ryan held Spike and instantly connected with the baby. Zach asked if his paternal interaction was as instinctual with Emma as it was with Spike. Ryan sheepishly answered that he did not have a chance to spend time with Emma yet. Zach encouraged Ryan to make his relationship with Annie work. So, Ryan went home to see his wife. He promised her that he would try to make things right between them. However, when Annie left the room, Ryan stared at a picture of Kendall.

Greenlee was surprised to hear Kendall answer Aidan's cell phone. Kendall nervously explained that she and Aidan randomly ended up on the same plane to Chicago. Soon, Aidan returned and got on the phone. Greenlee inquired why Kendall sounded weird. Aidan claimed that she was nervous about the book tour. He then told Greenlee that he loved and missed her. After Aidan hung up, Kendall became frantic with worry that Greenlee suspected they had an affair. Aidan assured her that Greenlee was not suspicious. Kendall again ran to the bathroom because she was nauseous. When she returned, she said that Spike must have given her a "bug." Aidan urged Kendall to stop stressing out over their tryst. Kendall could not relax because she dreaded losing Zach over the affair. Aidan suggested that they make a vow to never tell their secret. Kendall agreed and they shook hands. Then, the flight attendant announced that the flight was cancelled.

Jack visited Greenlee in the hospital. Greenlee admitted that she was jealous of Kendall and Aidan. Jack asked if Greenlee worried about the nature of their relationship. Greenlee said no. She explained that she was upset because they were both living exciting lives while she was stuck in the hospital. Greenlee said that she could not wait to return to her normal life. Then, Jack left and a nurse entered. Greenlee told the nurse that she wanted her aesthetician to visit her in the hospital. The nurse laughed and stated that this was not allowed. Greenlee said that she wanted to be beautiful for when Aidan returned. Just then, Aidan entered with a bouquet of flowers. Aidan told Greenlee that she was beautiful already and did not need a makeover. She joked that he did not understand women. So, Aidan indulged Greenlee and painted her toenails.

Kendall waited in the airport for the next flight to Chicago. A pregnant woman saw Kendall and instantly detected that she was not feeling well. The woman gave Kendall antacids and stated that they saved her during her first trimester. Kendall looked horrified as she realized that the woman thought she was pregnant. Kendall clutched her stomach and recalled having sex with Aidan. Kendall immediately bought a pregnancy test. Then, Zach called her. He told her about Ryan's visit to their home. Kendall felt sorry for Annie because she essentially lost her husband. Kendall hoped that she would never lose Zach. Zach promised that he would never leave her.

Jesse stood by his grave when Tad approached him. Tad asked why he did not leave town yet. Jesse said that he was about to leave. Tad urged him not to go. Tad asserted that he was no longer the "screw up" that Jesse used to know. Tad said that he could help his old friend out of the predicament he was in. Jesse stated that his situation was hopeless, so he made Tad swear to keep his secret.

Angie was about to leave the hospital when Joe paged her. Joe needed her to sign some papers. As Angie did this, Joe tried to persuade her to work at Pine Valley Hospital. Angie said that she could not live in Pine Valley without Jesse. Then, Angie left to visit Jesse's grave. When she arrived, she was stunned to see Jesse standing in front of his own grave. Angie cried out, "Jesse," and fainted. Jesse caught her and held her in his arms. Jesse immediately called 9-1-1. As he waited for the ambulance, he kissed Angie. Jesse cried as he professed his love for her. Then, Jesse heard the ambulance's siren and left. The paramedics arrived and took Angie to Pine Valley Hospital. Joe examined her and diagnosed her with hypoglycemia. Angie looked dismayed as she told Joe about her encounter with Jesse. Joe assumed that Angie conjured up Jesse's image because she was so desperate to see him. However, Angie insisted that she truly saw Jesse.

Jesse accosted Tad in the hospital's parking garage. Jesse explained what happened at the cemetery. Jesse begged Tad to convince Angie that she hallucinated what she saw at his grave. Tad was doubtful that Angie would believe this. Nevertheless, he promised to try. Tad then invited Jesse to stay in his basement. Jesse agreed to stay there until he was certain that Angie was healthy and safe.

A team of professionals sits around the table at New Beginnings. Erica shows the gentlemen a piece of ice to represent her assets being frozen. She says that she learned her funds had been frozen when she tried to buy a home. Erica throws the chunk of ice across the table and demands answers. The professionals explain the federal government is conducting its own investigation. When Erica asks how to fix the problem, the men are silent. She says they are all fired. She calls Jackson, but he does not answer. Moments later, Samuel Woods and Pam, the producer, come into the room. Pam says Samuel would like to be a guest on the show. Erica suggests she interview Samuel that afternoon, but he has made other plans. He gets into the elevator, but returns seconds later. Samuel says he can rearrange his plans to appear on the show. Once the show begins, Samuel says he is not on the show to announce his candidacy for the Senate because "that's already been discussed." Erica then asked if Woods wants to keep her and the viewers guessing about the reason for his talk show visit. "Miss Kane, when I want something from you, you'll know it," Samuel responded suggestively. "I will never ever keep you guessing."

Jesse has a nightmare that Angie is being held hostage while he is pinned in a chair. He immediately wakes up, dripping in sweat, and promises Angie he will never let anyone hurt her. Tad brings Jesse some supplies and updates him on Angie's condition. Tad begs Jesse to come clean with his family, but Jesse insists revealing the truth is too dangerous.

Angie tells Frankie she passed out from being exhausted and tired. But Frankie says he knows Angie saw Jesse at the gravesite. Angie says her vision of Jesse was not real, but Frankie insists his father is alive. Frankie says that he smelled Jesse's aftershave and someone had to call the paramedics after Angie passed out. Frankie claims that Tad knows something about Jesse, but Angie does not want to hear his myths any more. Angie begs Frankie to accept that Jesse is dead. After Angie is released from the hospital, she goes to see Tad. Frankie hides in another room before Angie can see him.

As Aidan packs up Greenlee's belongings, Greenlee has trouble saying good-bye to the hospital. Greenlee wants to be her old self-partying with friends, making Fusion better, and traveling-but worries her experiences over the past several years will make that task difficult. Aidan assures Greenlee she is not the same person anymore. He jokes that her taste in men has improved.

Kendall's pen runs out of ink at the book signing. After digging through her purse, she looks up to see Zach standing in front of her. Zach takes a seat beside Kendall, who quickly moves her purse so he won't see the pregnancy test inside the bag. Kendall gets back to signing books for her fans while Zach goes to another part of the bookstore. Greenlee calls Kendall to make sure Zach arrived safely. Kendall is surprised that Greenlee knew her husband was coming out for a visit. Greenlee says that their lives are finally spinning in the right direction. Kendall rushes to the bathroom after she begins to feel sick. Zach tells Kendall that he knows something is bothering her. She says that she wants Zach to stay with her because they haven't had much alone time. As Zach changes his flight, Kendall knocks her purse over.

Greenlee tells Aidan that she appreciates his support through all of the good and bad times. Aidan promises they will be together for a very long time. Joe brings a wheelchair to Greenlee, but she refuses to be seen in the contraption. Greenlee walks out with Aidan following behind.

Krystal tells Babe she is worried about Tad because he has been acting strange. Krystal says Tad is not cheating, but Babe says he wouldn't be breaking the rules if he had another woman on the side. After all, their marriage was more of a business arrangement, Babe adds. Krystal says that she and Tad are not an item, but both want to make the marriage work. Babe finds Richie, who says he has been getting blood transfusions regularly. Doctors found a possible bone marrow donor, but the patient is not interested in helping, Richie says. Babe asks who the donor is, but Richie says doctors won't reveal the name. Richie says jokingly that Babe can break into Joe's office to find out who the donor is. After Richie leaves, Babe explains that doctors found a donor for Richie, but the name is not being revealed for privacy reasons. Krystal can see Babe has already hatched a plan. They hack into Joe's office and find Richie's records. Babe is shocked when she learns that JR is the match for Richie.

Adam notices the ring is missing from JR's hand. JR claims the ring accidentally fell down the sink. As Adam gets up, an earpiece falls from his lap. He says the device is part of a new security system and rushes from the room to get some paperwork for JR. While JR takes a call, Adam mutters to himself that he knows his son is a liar. Later, Colby comes in with JR's ring that her friend managed to salvage from the sink. JR looks closer at the ring and sees a microphone implanted inside.

Kendall dropped her purse and the pregnancy test fell out. Zach bent down to help Kendall pick up her belongings. Kendall did not want Zach to see the pregnancy test, so she distracted him by giving him kisses. They then went to a Chicago pizzeria for dinner. Zach commented that Kendall was too worried about another man. Kendall looked nervous and inquired what Zach meant by this. He said that she was too focused on Ryan's memory loss. Kendall seemed relieved that Zach was referring to Ryan instead of Aidan. However, Kendall proceeded to slip up when she told Zach that she did not want to talk about Aidan anymore. Zach looked confused and reminded her that they were not discussing Aidan. Kendall quickly covered up her mistake and claimed that she was thinking about Aidan and Greenlee lately. She worried that Aidan might break her friend's heart. Zach urged Kendall to stop agonizing over other peoples' lives. Then, he pulled out a jewelry box and wished Kendall a happy Valentine's Day. The box contained a locket with Spike and Ian's pictures in it. Kendall thanked Zach. He revealed that there was an extra space in the locket for their future children. Kendall was surprised to hear that he wanted to have more children. Zach happily divulged that he desired many more children. Still, Zach affirmed that he was satisfied with their family, so Kendall should not feel pressured if she did not want any more children. Kendall smiled and stated that she did want to have another child. So, she rushed him back to their hotel room. Kendall then gave Zach his Valentine's Day gift, which was a passionate night of lovemaking. Before they left the hotel room to return to Pine Valley, Kendall threw away the pregnancy test.

Annie was in the penthouse getting ready for her "first date" with Ryan. Annie dreamed that Ryan would walk through the door and remember who she was. That did not happen. Ryan came to the door with roses, but he still did not recover his memory. They went to ConFusion for their date. Ryan asked Annie if she wanted a drink. Annie said yes, but Ryan did not know what to order. Annie stated that she liked white wine and margaritas. Ryan laughed as he recalled Greenlee's love for tequila. Annie looked annoyed, so Ryan stopped talking about Greenlee. Ryan said that he was at a disadvantage because Annie knew everything about him, but he knew nothing about her. So, she told him some of her favorite things, like chocolate, hot baths, and sleeping in the nude. Annie asked if Ryan had anything he wanted to tell her. Ryan disclosed that he had a deep, dark secret. He revealed that sometimes he forgot to recycle. They both laughed. Annie explained that Emma was very environmentally responsible due to Ryan's influence. Ryan was glad to hear this. He then told Annie that he met Spike and that he felt an instant connection to his son. Ryan attributed this to the fact that Kendall was his mother. Annie looked hurt by this comment. She said that this was very difficult for her and that she needed some time to deal with the situation. So, they returned to the penthouse. Ryan commented that he should go upstairs and make love to Annie, but it did not seem right. She agreed because it would not be "real."

Erica was still conducting her interview with the U.S. Attorney, Samuel Woods. Erica asked Samuel how he would help the average American. Samuel said that he wanted to stop the corruption caused by corporate pirates. Samuel stated that it was getting harder and harder for Americans to "keep their heads above water." He felt that he could help these Americans by not allowing the rich to get even richer off of the poor. Erica commended him for his righteous platform. She then asked him about the death of his wife. Samuel became very somber as he explained that his wife died in 9-11. He said that he could not help his wife, but he wanted to help other Americans. After the interview, Pam flirtatiously giggled as she complimented Samuel on his high morals. Erica also complimented Samuel and affirmed that she would support his campaign if he ran for Senator. He thanked Erica for interviewing him. He said that his wife was a huge fan of her show, which was part of the reason he wanted to be on it. After Samuel left, Erica told Pam to schedule another interview with him because he was "great TV." Meanwhile, Samuel made a phone call. He told the person on the other end to be "prepared for tomorrow" because they were dealing with Erica Kane.

Tad and Jesse were horrified to see Angie at the front door. Jesse immediately hid in the living room, while Tad and Angie spoke in the doorway. Angie asked Tad to help her get over Jesse. Angie began to cry when she explained to Tad that both she and Frankie thought they saw Jesse. Tad wished that he could tell her the truth, but he affirmed that Jesse was dead instead. Then, Krystal came home. She sensed that Angie was upset and invited her to sit in the living room. Jesse quickly hid in the basement as they entered the living room. Angie explained that she missed Jesse very much. Krystal suggested that talking about Jesse might make her feel better. So, Angie detailed her entire life with Jesse from start to finish. As Jesse listened to their love story, tears swelled in his eyes. Krystal felt bad for Angie and invited her to spend the night with them. Tad looked nervous and tried to convince Angie that she should not stay. Krystal gave Tad a dirty look and insisted that she stay with them. So, Tad relented and invited her to stay with them for as long as she needed. Angie explained that she would only stay for one night because she was leaving Pine Valley the next day. Krystal told Angie to sleep in the guest bedroom, but she wanted to sleep on the couch. Meanwhile, Tad went to see Jesse in the basement. Jesse was extremely anxious because Angie was sleeping one floor above him. Tad suggested that he wait for Angie to fall asleep and then sneak out of the house. Jesse agreed, but Krystal ruined this plan when she inadvertently locked Jesse in the basement.

Angie tells Krystal that it helped to talk about her life with Jesse the night before. Krystal is so blown away by the romance Angie and Jesse shared it brings tears to her eyes. Krystal says it saddens her that the relationship between Jesse and Angie ended so soon. Angie agrees, but says she would not change her past with Jesse. Angie gives Krystal a hug and heads to the airport.

As Jesse hides from Angie, Tad says that fate keeps throwing Jesse and Angie together. Jesse says he needs to leave town. Krystal is shocked when she finds Tad talking to Jesse downstairs. Krystal immediately begins asking how long Jesse has been staying in their home. Tad says that no one can know Jesse is alive. Krystal says he better give her one good reason why she shouldn't tell a heartbroken Angie the truth. She storms out of the basement and grabs her coat. Jesse understands that Krystal is upset, but tries to explain that his family will be in danger if they know he is alive. Krystal is silent as Tad takes Jesse to the train station. Jesse asks Tad to keep his family safe before buying a ticket to Toronto. Angie calls Krystal to see if she left her wallet and plane ticket at the house. Krystal finds the item and offers to bring them to her at the airport. Jesse sleeps while Tad tries to convince the train employee to tell him where Jesse is going. The employee refuses to divulge the information until Tad forks over some cash.

Erica and Babe straighten the Campbell's sign on the wall at Campbell's "Go Red for Women" fashion show. Babe asks Amanda if she has talked to JR lately. Amanda wonders why Babe wants to have anything to do with JR again. Babe says she needs to discuss some personal business with him.

Aidan and Greenlee arrive at the party. Erica throws her arms around Greenlee because she hadn't seen Greenlee since she had been released from the hospital. Greenlee tells Erica that Kendall has been acting weird. Aidan brushes it off as Kendall not feeling well on the plane. After Greenlee leaves, Erica asks Aidan why Kendall would be so mysterious over a stomach ache.

Adam, Colby, and JR gather in the living room. Colby tells them that she is going to model in the Campbell's event later that day. JR insists that they should go to support Colby because Adam likes to know everything that is going on in the Chandler family. After Colby is gone, Adam tells JR that he is the bone marrow match for Richie. Adam says he told the hospital JR was not interested in helping Richie. JR says his father is not allowed to make decisions for him. JR pulls the ring out his pocket, and says that he knows Adam has been eavesdropping. Adam does not apologize for his actions, claiming JR is a traitor. JR calls his father a traitor for making Krystal believe Kate might be alive so Krystal would come crawling back. JR says Krystal can't stand Adam, even though Adam still loves her. Adam says JR shouldn't get his feelings for Krystal twisted into what he feels for Babe. JR thinks he can prove his love to Babe by agreeing to be Richie's donor. He tells his father he will be moving the next day.

When Kendall begins munching on chocolate early in the morning, Zach says it reminds him of her pregnancy with Ian. Kendall says she is only eating the chocolate to calm her nerves. Greenlee calls Kendall to say that she needs her to get to the party soon. Kendall asks Zach to stop by the drug store before they get to the party. She claims the chocolate binge did not sit well with her stomach. Zach and Kendall arrive at the party. Zach goes to have a drink with Aidan so that Kendall, Greenlee, and Erica can get details finalized for the party. Erica finds Kendall in the bathroom not looking well. Erica is curious if her daughter is pregnant. Kendall is thrown off guard by her mother's suspicions, but admits that she is not sure if she is pregnant. Before Kendall can say any more, Ava needs Kendall's help with the decorations. Greenlee sways Aidan to fill in for a model who dropped out of the show. Colby arrives at the party and finds Babe. Babe tells Colby she needs to speak to JR about being a donor for Richie. Colby wonders how Babe will even get JR to consider helping Richie. Babe jokes that Colby does not want to know how she will convince JR to help. Erica takes Kendall back to the bathroom to finish their conversation. Kendall admits that she and Aidan had sex when they thought Greenlee and Zach were dead. She says that she forgot to take her birth control pill before they had sex. Erica tells Kendall that she needs to take a pregnancy test, but Kendall is afraid. Kendall decides to take the test and patiently waits for the results. Greenlee walks in and the test falls to the floor.

Krystal delivers Angie's wallet and ticket to the airport, and Angie asks what else Krystal had to tell her. After briefly flashing back to Jesse's warnings, Krystal covers and tells her that she just wanted to wish her a safe flight and gives her the picture from Frankie's room for safekeeping. Having decided to wait with Angie, Krystal goes to get them drinks. When she returns, they hear that Angie's flight has been delayed. Krystal asks if the train would be a viable option, since she could take the express into New York City and arrive more quickly. Realizing the validity of that option, Angie makes a call to find out when the next train leaves.

At the train station, Tad calls upon the memory of his sister and a bit of guilt to try to convince Jesse to stay in town. Jesse retorts that he chose to live his life this way to protect his family. Tad says that Jesse is the best friend that he has ever had, and wishes he could make Jesse stay. He thinks that there is a greater power at work that is showing Jesse he could be home with his wife and son again, but Jesse disagrees. Tad then asks why Jesse isn't flying to Toronto, since his plans are to get there quickly. With no real reason, Tad offers to drive him to the airport. Jesse realizes that Angie might be there and calls Tad on it. Tad tries to feign innocence but when he realizes that it isn't working, he offers that perhaps the airport holds the reunion that has been years in the making. Jesse sticks to his guns, stating that letting Angie know he is alive will endanger her life. Tad then asks if this is the final goodbye, and Jesse tells him that once he leaves, he's never looking back.

Jack comes into the backstage area just as a seamstress tries to keep Erica still for last minute alterations. He keeps her focused enough by complimenting her and asking how New Beginnings is involved in the fashion show. Erica tells him that the issues supported by the fashion show are things that she wants to make sure the general audience is aware of. Once finished with the seamstress, Erica flits around and continues getting ready. Jack, having followed her, asks if she found someone to take care of her financial issues. She tells him that she thought she could count on him to take care of that, and he reminds her that he is a lawyer, not an accountant. Before he can continue with the lecture, Pam interrupts to show Erica the footage from the Samuel Woods interview. When the clip concludes, Erica asks Jack what he thinks, and he tells her that she should stay away from the politician. Jack calls Samuel an opportunist but Erica brushes that off and says she thinks the real problem is that Jack is jealous of the way Senator Woods looked at her.

On the other side of the room, Emma continues to model for her mother, who compliments her highly. Emma then asks if her father will be there to see her. Annie tells her that Ryan has been feeling sick lately and that has him a bit confused, so he probably wouldn't be at the show. She promises the little girl that she will take lots of pictures so they can all look at them together later. She then sends Emma off with Corrina to practice her runway walks. When the little girl is gone, Babe and Amanda tell Annie that she handled the situation amazingly well. Annie says that she is not as worried about Emma as she is about her husband.

Josh happens upon Aidan who is getting alterations on his clothes, and harasses him a bit about going into modeling if the private investigator gig doesn't work out. Josh then says that he is looking for his sister, and Aidan tells him that Kendall is probably somewhere with Greenlee-plotting to take over the world. After the alterations are completed, Josh shows up again with glasses of beer as a peace offering. He tells Aidan that he understands why he is modeling, since love can make you do some crazy things. Aidan agrees, and says that he can't imagine life without Greenlee. They take a spin around the backstage area, and Aidan notes that it seems to be a single man's dream. Josh laughs and says that he has retired from the dating game. Aidan doesn't believe it, instead saying that Josh is simply waiting for the right woman to come along. Aidan notes that if he hadn't taken the chance with Greenlee, he wouldn't be nearly as happy as he is.

Zach arrives at his office and tells Ryan that not only is Annie at the fashion show, but that she's worried about him. Unconcerned with her feelings, Ryan wants to know how it is that Zach stole his life. Zach tells him that things happened quite amicably, which Ryan would know if he could remember. Ryan replies that his only insights to those memories are what people tell him, along with the research that he has done. Zach asks what he was able to find out, and Ryan tells him that he discovered that his baby sister was murdered by a man presumed dead, Zach's father. He then says he wants to know how Zach ended up with the company that was bequeathed to Ryan, his son and the woman he loves, and if he should start taking it personally. Understanding that Ryan is somehow trying to blame him for all of the bad things that happened, Zach tries to distance himself by noting that his father is a sick man, and for that reason, he severed ties with him years ago. Unwilling to let go, Ryan tells him that perhaps if he had stayed around and faced up to his father, good people like Erin and Simone wouldn't be dead. Zach says that Alexander tried to kill Kendall too, but that the two of them stopped it from happening. This enrages Ryan because it makes them sound like a team when, in his reality, they are strangers and Zach has not earned any trust. Zach suggests that Ryan find someone that he does trust to fill him in.

Ryan then asks about his job, and Zach tells him that because his father is still alive, the terms of the will no longer apply. He also notes that he asked Ryan to run Cambias with him but, because of what happened with Erin, Ryan turned him down. Zach apologizes for what happened but Ryan thinks that he is being pitied, which is not what he wants. Zach asks what Ryan does want, and the confused young man says that he simply wants his life back. Zach says that the last four years have been hard on everyone but Ryan doesn't believe it, considering the life Zach leads. Irritated, Zach runs down a short list of how Ryan hurt both Kendall and Greenlee, and Ryan admits that he obviously made some mistakes. Ryan proposes that Kendall would be much happier with him and Zach tells him that he is dead wrong. Ryan thinks that perhaps Zach has everyone fooled into thinking he is a good guy, and wonders how it is that he got Kendall to believe in him. Zach offers that he simply loves Kendall deeper than any man ever has. Ryan tries to throw him off by saying that Zach doesn't deserve Kendall, but surprisingly, Zach agrees with him. He says that for whatever reason, Kendall chose him, and that is something Ryan will have to accept. Ryan says that he refuses to accept anything that doesn't feel right to him. Deciding that he wants the conversation to end, Zach says that if Ryan wants to live in the past, he can, but if he wants a future for himself, he will have to learn to accept that things have changed beyond his recollection.

In the bathroom, Greenlee stares at the pregnancy test box that fell out of Kendall's hands. Kendall tries to play it off, saying that she bought it on impulse after feeling sick to her stomach, and that Spike probably brought something home from his playgroup. Greenlee tells her that there is only one way to find out for sure, and pulls her over to the stalls. Kendall refuses to do it, but Greenlee says that Fusion can't afford to have her off of her game because she is distracted by the possibility. Kendall then tries to say that taking the test while Greenlee waits is embarrassing, but Greenlee knows that she is lying and says that she knows the real reason why Kendall is hesitant. Kendall tries to make up some more excuses but Greenlee interjects that Kendall is probably trying to be cautious of her best friend's feelings since Greenlee can't have children. Kendall jumps at that as a good excuse and apologizes if she ever made Greenlee feel bad. Greenlee tells her that if Kendall wants to have a huge family, she will support her all the way. Kendall says that she isn't sure if it's the right time and Greenlee asks what Zach thinks. Suddenly on edge again, Kendall tells her that Zach knows nothing of the possibility and urges Greenlee to keep quiet about it. Greenlee says that kind of news is not hers to tell, but that she thinks Zach would be thrilled. Kendall reiterates that it is probably a stomach bug and asks if they can just do the show, and pretend that they never talked about the possibility. Greenlee agrees and marches back out to the floor, with Kendall following after a few moments of hesitation.

Jack asks Erica why she feels the need to bring up jealousy every time he asks about a man in her life. Erica doesn't think that Samuel Woods qualifies, and Jack warns her that with the senator, nothing is ever as it seems. Unwilling to be lectured any further, Erica spots Kendall and uses that as a way to get away from Jack. She asks Kendall if she's taken the test and, knowing that her mother wouldn't let it go, Kendall says that she did and that it was negative. Erica is elated and allows her daughter to continue getting ready for the show. Jack approaches his ex-wife and asks what news she has gotten. Refusing to be specific, Erica just says that it was the best thing she could have heard, and then lays a deep kiss on him. A short time later, Jack finds her again and asks her where the kiss came from. She tells him that it was born of years of loving each other despite any obstacles. She then tells him that she needs to get some other things ready so, still swayed by the thrill of the kiss, he lets her go.

While Amanda and Babe talk about the gift bags that are being handed out, Annie is preoccupied with checking to see if she got any messages from Ryan. The other women offer to call Ryan to remind him about the show but Annie tells them that Zach already asked. Amanda then asks if the doctors have been able to determine the cause of his memory loss, but Annie has no news to offer. She does tell them that for now, she and Ryan are trying to get to know each other again, and that they recently went on a second first date. She follows by saying that she has to believe that everything will be all right again someday, as Ryan is the best thing that ever happened to her.

Kendall runs into her brother and he tells her to break a leg. She asks if he's seen Zach, but Josh tells her that he hasn't and asks if everything is okay. She brightens up to erase his worry and tells him that things have been crazy. She excuses herself to go talk to press but as soon as she gets in front of the cameras, she starts to feel ill again.

Tad and Krystal show up at the fashion show and Krystal tells him that she had been hoping for a Valentine's Day miracle for Angie and Jesse. She fills him in on how she had to take Angie's ticket and wallet to her, and Tad asks if she spilled the beans about Jesse. Krystal assures him that she hadn't but admits that she did suggest taking the train instead of flying. Tad thinks it was a brilliant idea and says that he had the same idea when he suggested flying to Jesse. Krystal thinks that they may have caused the two star-crossed lovers to miss each other altogether. Babe comes over just then to quickly check and see if her mother has seen JR, and Tad takes the opportunity to get drinks. When she comes up empty, Babe takes off just as Tad returns. Tad says they need the drinks since they will most likely never see Jesse again.

Aidan gets a drink and brings it to Greenlee shortly before Annie joins them and tells Aidan he is needed backstage. Once he leaves, Annie tells Greenlee that whatever the subject of the discussion she had with Ryan was, it sent him straight to Kendall. Greenlee assures Annie that she intended for him to go to his wife because she, along with all of their friends, want to see Ryan get better. Angry, Annie espouses her belief that Ryan will recover with her help, and asks Greenlee to stay out of the situation.

The fashion show finally starts, with a highly photographed introduction by Kendall and Greenlee and an impressive lead-up to Erica's entrance as hostess of the event, in which the audience finds out the event will be broadcast live. Aidan comes out as a teaser of what's to come, and then Erica tells the audience that he, along with all of the models will be back soon for the main event. Zach arrives during the break and, under Greenlee's watchful eye, he and Kendall hug warmly. Kendall then goes to check on Annie and asks if she is still up for being at the show. Annie tells her she is excited for Emma and, as the two women hug, Ryan walks in. A few feet away, Erica spots Samuel Woods and thanks him for coming.
