At a Glance

Mr. Campbell's talents have spanned through all media. A star of film, television and stage, his diverse credits including the motion pictures Trick, The Piano Man's Daughter and Hairshirt an independent comedy he co-produced and co-starred with his sister, Neve. His starring television credits include; The $treet, Max Steel, Angels and Malibu Shores.

On stage, Mr. Campbell appeared in the Off Broadway production of Reefer Madness, which he won the L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award for Lead Performance, playing Jimmy, a role he will recreate for the film adaptation set to film this spring. He has also starred in Jonathan Larson's Musical Tick,Tick...Boom, and Nagasaki Dust.

In 1997, he acquired the Lexington Theatre in Los Angeles. He then founded its resident theater company, the Blue Sphere Alliance, where he held the lead role in Nagasaki Dust, which garnered a Theater L.A. Award nomination. He later formed the New York extension of the company, Blue Sphere East, where he currently serves as artistic director.

Born in Toronto, Canada, Mr. Campbell began acting at the age six in Scottish "pantos" and other productions directed by his father, a drama teacher. His professional stage debut at age 12 was in the role of "Nick" in Herb Gardner's A Thousand Clowns for his mothers dinner theatre The Annex Stage. He studied at the Claude Watson School for the Performing Arts, and it was during that time that he began an ongoing role in the popular Canadian series Degrassi Junior High.

Mr. Campbell's younger sister, Neve, is also a television performer, known best for her role on Party of Five.
