Keith Hamilton Cobb joined the cast of "All My Children" in July, 1994, as
the proud and gentle desperado, Noah Keefer.
Keith was born and raised in Tarrytown, New York, where he attended Sleepy
Hollow High School. He was a 1987 graduate of the New York University Tisch
School of the Arts. While attending NYU, he also received theatrical
training at Circle-in-the-Square and Playwright's Horizons theater schools.
His first professional job was in a production of Jean Cocteau's "The
Infernal Machine" at the Jean Cocteau Repertory in lower Manhattan. Most
recently, Keith appeared as Tybalt in "Romeo and Juliet" and Octavius in
"Julius Caesar -- both at the Shakespeare Theatre. Other stage credits
include productions of "Othello," "The Beaux Stratagem," "Cymbeline,"
"Hamlet" and "Coriolanus" for The New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, The Actors
Theatre of Louisville, The Huntington Theatre Company and the North Shore
Music Theatre.
Further endeavors include teaching acting at Youth Theatre Interactions,
Inc., and a performing arts program for children in South Yonkers, New York.
In the capacity of both actor and director, he has worked for the past
several seasons with The Playwright's Theatre of New Jersey in its Special
Needs Program, teaching playwriting and performing the plays of youthful
offenders within the New Jersey correctional system.
Keith is single and resides in New York State. He enjoys cycling, swimming
and fencing, and has a passion for all things Shakespearean.
Keith's role on All My Children ended in the fall of 1996 when his character, Noah, was forced to relocate to California as part fo the Witness Relocation Program.
