Colin Egglesfield
Born in Farmington Hills, MI and raised in Crete, IL, Mr. Egglesfield attended the University of Illinois Wesley to play football and then transferred after one year to the University of Iowa where he graduated in 1996 with a degree in biology/pre-med. After college, he took a year off before applying to medical school and during that time, he was discovered by famed photographer Bruce Webber which lead to featured work with Polo, Versace and featured spread in Luomo Vogue.
Following his successful career modeling in the U.S., Mr. Egglesfield traveled to Europe working the runway shows for Armani, Versace, Dolce and Calvin Klein, just to name a few.
In 1997, he moved to New York City and while continuing with his modeling career, he started to book national commercials and lead guest appearances on
Law & Order SVU,
Gilmore Girls,
Nip/Tick,
Charmed,
Twelve Days of Terror, a pilot called
Lost in Oz. On stage, he also appeared with Riant Theatre group, where he starred as Lt. Dan Kaffee in
A Few Good Men off-Broadway. He also starred in the films
Vampires: The Turning,
Beautiful Dreamer, and appeared in
Must Love Dogs.
Mr. Egglesfield Currently resides in New York City. When not taping at All My Children, he runs marathons, paints, draws and mountain bikes. He also likes to tutor high school kids, primarily who are studying for the SAT's in New York at The Door Youth Center.
