Shari Headley, the youngest of four children, began her college education studying pre-med. After winning a Ford Modeling Agency contest, Shari decided to drop medicine and pursued a career in acting and modeling. Since her big break, appearing with Eddie Murphy in Coming to America, Shari has appeared on screen in movies as well as television. No stranger to daytime television, Headley has appeared on a handful of soaps and played very different characters. As Detective Mimi Reed on All My Children, Headley received an NAACP nomination.
Shari now lives in Queens, NY with her son Skyler.
