Tom runs into Holden and Lily and tells them that Molly is there in the hospital and that he is going to try to get the trial delayed for a few weeks. He warns them not to let Molly see them together. Molly searches for her tape. Lisa finds the tape and views it. She calls Holden and Lucinda, but before anyone can get there, Molly comes in. She burns the tape. Jack washes Carly's back. David blackmails Carly. Molly continues to make wedding plans. Lily disappears. Teague drugs Jack. Julie and Caleb almost spoil the wedding.

Molly interrupts the wedding of Lily and Holden. Camille arrives home to find Lew waiting for her. She is unaware he can walk. He attempts to rape her, but Ben arrives just in time. Eddie lashes out at Margo, but Margo isn't about to give up on him. Molly and Lucinda together are working on a plan to bring David down. Meanwhile, David cheats at cards to win 51% of The Falcon Club. Jack can't sleep without having dreams of Carly; he rushes to Carly's house and tries to get her to admit loving him, but she says she loves Hal. Hal finds the two together and demands to know what is going on. Barbara and her new lawyer pay John a visit. John discovers that Barbara is spending too much time at the cemetery and asks Kim to speak to her. Jack boards a train out of Oakdale.

Barbara finally accepts Johnny's death thanks to Hal. Hal is angry at Carly because he found Jack at his house with Carly; he doesn't believe Carly when she tells him that he has nothing to worry about. On his way to Chicago, Jack allays the fears of a young lady by singing to her. Nikki has a plan to keep Carly from giving her a stepbrother or sister. When Molly locks Lily in the ladies room, Molly turns the tables on her. Emily continues to receive gifts from her "admirer." John and Hal almost come to blows. John encourages Carly to accept artificial insemination. Carly and Barbara have it out at the fashion show.

In Chicago, Jack collapses and is hospitalized. Julia calls Ben and his family. Carly is artificially inseminated then goes home and makes love to Hal. Andy and Nikki spend a night together in Chicago. Hal took Carly to a heart specialist in Chicago. Hal walks in on a goodbye scene between Carly and Jack. Hal announced to Jack that Carly is pregnant. Jack is hired by the Prince to find Julia. Lucinda hires a stunt driver to take David and Molly on a wild ride. John discovers that Lisa and Ralph have made beautiful music in the afternoon. John and Barbara get closer. Margo brings Eddie home and Tom is upset about it. Lily is terrorized in her own home. David manages to disrupt Luke's birthday party; he substitutes his own "clown" for Kirk. The clown walks out the door with Luke.

After the scare with Luke, Holden goes to find David. He holds him at gunpoint and forces him to write a confession. However, just as he is about to make him jump overboard, Lily arrives and talks him out of it. The police demand concrete evidence of David's involvement in the harassment before they will act. Molly learns David's plan and goes straight to Lucinda after being insulted by David's actions. Lily and Holden leave Oakdale; Lucinda is unable to leave because of business. The Chicago heart doctor gives Carly her opinion concerning her heart. Hal threatens to sue John for malpractice; John promises Carly that if Hal sues, he will not go down alone. Tom takes a job with Emily at the paper. Ben wants to ask Camille to marry him, but changes his mind at the last minute.

Camille has her surgery and comes through with flying colors; Ben and Sara Ruth rejoice with her. During a sleepwalking episode, Eddie kisses Margo. Later, Margo keeps the kiss secret from Tom and Eddie, but Emily knows there is a secret and tells Tom. Lisa goes to the ball alone, but so does John. Emma manages to get Julia and Jack to the ball. David gives Molly something special. Before going to the ball, Jack is ordered to bring in Carly on assault charges. With Molly's help, Carly is able to slip out of the police station and attend the ball.

Jack tells his brother, Brad, to get out of town. Emily encounters a sleepwalking Eddie in the park and runs straight to Tom with the news that she has been mugged. Margo helps Eddie to hide out from the police. While Margo is out helping Eddie, Emily "has a nightmare" and ends up sleeping with Tom. Camille is not adjusting to her surgery very well, however, Brad convinces her to hire Julia as a companion/helper. Sam has a pregnancy scare and announces that she doesn't want to be pregnant---again. Nikki quizzes John about Carly's baby. Later, Nikki reads something interesting in Carly's day planner. Susan finds evidence that the "mugging" never took place and confronts Emily with the evidence. David sets up another interview for Molly on WOAK with Kim who says she sees something in the book. However, Molly has a surprise when she begins to read from her novel. David shows a video over TV of Lucinda dancing and kissing James. Lucinda is called to the police station for questioning. Brad bails her out of trouble again.

There is an open-mike contest at Yo's and guess who entered! Molly is stranded on the side of a lonely road with a flat tire; guess who comes to her rescue and guess who is furious. Nikki asks Barbara's help in finding out what is going on between Carly and John. Eddie hides out at the old Fairwinds mansion and encounters another runaway. Tom follows Margo to Fairwinds and they have a confrontation. Eddie slips out of his hiding place and has another surprise encounter with Emily. Susan lets Eddie go. Later, Eddie is hypnotized; guess what he remembers! Susan threatens to tell Tom the truth if Emily doesn't. Eddie, Margo and Ben arrive home to find Hal sitting on the couch waiting for them. Eddie lies to protect Margo's job. Emily admits that she made a mistake about Eddie, however, she tells Tom in an aside that she lied to Hal. Carly is ready to leave Hal for Jack, but Lisa doesn't believe she can give up the trust fund. John tells Barbara that he wants to resume their marriage and make love to her, but she isn't ready. David blasts Molly for watching her video of Holden in bed; she is surprised at his hostility and jealousy. Carly asks a favor of John, one that he isn't willing to give. Georgia confides to Eddie that Sam is her mother. Georgia also confesses to Eddie that she fears Sam won't accept her as her daughter. Lucinda introduces Brad as her new "friend," and Sam is stunned when Brad kisses Lucy. Margo is stunned when Tom tells her that Emily claims that she changed her story only to protect Margo. Margo continues to deny that Eddie mugged Emily. John stuns Jack when he tells him all about Carly's plans to have him and the 50 million dollars. Margo sadly tells Eddie that it would be better if he stopped coming by the house. Later she asks Andy to be a friend to Eddie; Andy would not want to befriend Eddie at all. However, later at an AA meeting, Andy is shocked to hear Susan's confession to the group. Carly is stunned when Jack tells her that he doesn't want to see her ever again. Eddie tells Susan that Emily framed him because he knows that she wants Tom. When they discover that the paper will be awarded a journalism award, Emily makes plans to go to New York with Tom. Unknown to Tom, she arranges that they will only have one room at the hotel. Carly speeds away from the park and hits Julia with her car.

Carly discovers that her car has hit Julia and tries to get help. After doing emergency surgery, Ben is suspended. Brad stands before Lucinda in the buff. Jack brings in Brad for questioning, but has to let him go. Jack swears that Brad will not get away with it again like he did when he killed their father. Emily tells her mother that the next time she needs to "get it off her chest," she should take a drink instead. Sam provides a place on the Valetta for Georgia to stay. Holden learns that Molly is working for Lucinda. David proposes to Molly and when she turns him down, he takes a gun after Holden. To keep David from killing Holden, Molly accepts the proposal. Carly considers turning herself in. Margo and Eddie fix up his new home. Emily and Tom get drunk in New York. When Tom passes out on the bed, she undresses and slips into bed beside him.

Tom wakes up in New York with Emily snuggled up with him and his wife knocking at the door. The board is about to return privileges to Ben when he bursts in and begins to rant at them. Bob hustles him out of the room, but the damage is done. Lucinda's reaction to David's engagement is to have Molly leave him at the altar. Sam and Kirk come up with a plan to get David out of their lives. Bob, Kin, and Andy plan a party for Nancy. Julia remembers who hit her but decides to keep quiet about it. Jack dusts the emergency phone for prints and finds Carly's prints. Eddie is in trouble with Deana's drug friends.

Margo told Eddie that she loves him in a special way but she loves Tom and wants to stay with him unaware that Emily's reporter is outside with a video camera. James blames Lucinda for David's death. James throws Molly into the street with only $5 to her name. Lucinda and Brad have an interesting encounter. Jack and Julia reunite. Carly tells Hal goodbye. John disappears.

Carly goes to the Snider farm and tells Julia that she is not going to give up on Jack and that Julia doesn't stand a chance. David arrives and takes both women hostage. James is surprised to find David alive but shocked to learn that not only has he kidnapped Julia and Carly, he arranged the Valetta disaster. David goes to his memorial service and listens while a heartbroken Molly opens her heart. Seeing him, Molly faints but no one will believe she saw David. Emily cons the reporter to take the videotape of Margo and Eddie to their competition. The video is aired over the news. Adam sees the video and moves in with Hal. Sam and Kirk go on a picnic by the river and disappear. Georgia thinks that Sam has run out on her again. Eddie comforts him and promises that he will not leave her.

Julia gives Jack a clue but he doesn't realize it until it is too late. Holden finds a note in the banana bread but it is smeared. When James brings a syringe to inject David so he can take him aboard his plan and get him out of the country, Carly unknowing gives him away and David injects James instead. Georgia leaves the hospital without permission and everyone is worried. She visits Lucinda and begs to know where Sam is. Lucinda doesn't believe that Georgia knows Sam nor that Sam wants to pay for Georgia's medical bills. When Emily learns that Margo is going out of town on family business, she tells Eddie that Margo is leaving Tom and the boys and running away. Then Emily calls the news people and tells them that Margo is running away with Eddie. Eddie arrives at Margo with his bags to tell her that he will leave instead of her just as the news media arrive and begins asking questions and taking pictures. Eddie asks Brad for a job.

David kidnaps Lily, Julia, Carly and James. In a remote cabin Lily gives birth to a daughter who has difficulty in breathing. Molly told Jack and Holden that she saw David at his Memorial service and that later he called her. Jack is able to find the car and rescue Carly and James from the trunk---just in the nick of time---but he has no idea where Lily and Julia are. Emily and Tom share a long kiss while on a news stakeout. Margo is devastated by the treatment she receives from her son, from Lisa, and from the PTA. Barbara goads and gloats at the situation Margo is in. Adam is caught trying to buy liquor. Lucinda accuses Georgia and Eddie of running a scam on Samantha. Later, Lucinda learns that Georgia is Sam's daughter.

Julia discovers that David is planning to raise Lily's baby as his own so she does her best to protect Lily. When David is convinced that the baby needs to breast feed to survive, David gives the baby up for just long enough for Julia to sneak Lily and the baby out of the cabin. James and Lucinda join forces to find their children. Holden learns from the hospital that if Lily doesn't have the baby by the time they were going to do the induction, there may be a problem. Holden fights Lucinda and James's plan to work together. James gets an idea where David could be. Margo has a blood test and finds out that she is pregnant. While talking to Susan on the telephone, Emily listens in and learns the news. She calls the TV station with a tip that "Detective Love" is pregnant with Eddie Silva's baby. She then makes an appointment for Margo at an abortion clinic and sends the packet to Margo. Eddie has a serious discussion with Adam after which, Adam comes home. Margo's half-sister moves in with the Hugheses.

David makes his demands of Holden. Julia is to carry the ransom money. James and Lucinda support each other but they get locked in the cellar at the farm. Emily finds out that Margo is pregnant and she has plans of her own. Going to a private family party, Emily does everything she can to get Tom to learn that Margo has an appointment with the abortion clinic. When Tom does learn about the abortion, he won't believe Margo knows nothing about it. They have a terrible fight and Tom leaves the house and goes straight to Emily. Camille wants to be intimate with Ben but he wants to wait until they are married; this makes Camille afraid that he can't face her after the surgery. John returns from vacation and Barbara overhears him confess to Lisa what he feels for her; she runs straight to Hal. Hal is cold to Carly; when the baby moves and she tries to get him to feel it, he accuses her of using the baby to her own advantage.

Jack, Holden and Julia arrive at the drop-off site. Jack gets into position and shoots out David's tire so that he has to walk to the drop-off site. Jack finds the baby in the car. At the drop-off site, Holden and David get in a scuffle after David confesses to killing Lily and the baby and tossing their bodies into the river. David is shot and dies after he has warned Holden that when his father finds out what happens, he will kill the baby, Lily, Emma and everyone Holden loves. Holden and Julia bury David and tell the police that he escaped. Lily gets free and runs into the forest where she immediately gets lost. While resting, she is bitten by a spider. Tom sleeps with Emily but has regrets; however, Emily is now sure of herself and doesn't recognize these regrets of Tom's. She brags to her mother that she slept with Tom. Molly watches as Tom leaves Emily's apartment early in the morning and uses the info to her own advantage. She is hired as the new weather girl. Tom is devastated when he returns home and finds out that Margo has miscarried the baby. They are able to make up and try to put the marriage back together. Camille begins to lose her hair. Georgia has her surgery; she begins to misinterpret Eddie's feelings for her. Eddie sees his "angel" again but this time she drops her scarf.

Carly asks Rosanna to give her the money, no matter what happens with her marriage; Rosanna says no deal. The exchange turns violent and Carly ends up in a psychiatric ward after she tries to choke Rosanna. Tom tells his father that he slept with Emily. Lily is found and taken to the hospital. Lucinda is nonplussed by James' marriage proposal. Holden confesses to Lily that he accidentally killed David while Jack affirms to Julia that he will never close the case--not until he finds David. Emily sets it for Margo to overhear her and Molly's argument about Emily's affair with Tom.

Adam learns that Tom has slept with Emily and that Emily is having his baby. Eddie meets his dream girl but she realizes that he is the man who has been trying to break up his sister's marriage. Georgia and Katie become friends and go shopping at Fashions. Hal tries to get Carly to sign permission for him to get a divorce. When she won't, he says that he will get an annulment. Later, he and Barbara talk about old times and share a kiss.

Julia goes to David's grave to confront him but she is frightened when someone tosses a shovel at her. Brad confesses to Camille that he loves her. Jack tells Brad to stay away from Camille but he shows up at the surprise engagement party anyway. Adam tries to get his parents together but it backfires. Georgia and Eddie attend the engagement party. Katie apologizes to Eddie for how she acted the last time they met.

John reveals that he is the father of Carly's baby. Carly told Hal that she was ready to sign the papers for a Caribbean divorce. John asks someone to marry him. Jack ordered Brad to stay away from Camille, but no one told Camille to stay away from Brad. Brad and Molly go to the building site and begin digging the foundation. What they find makes them very, very happy! Holden wanted to turn himself in after Julia finds a shovel with dirt on it in the trunk of her car. Lucinda and James elope.

Lucinda is married. Holden and Lily arrive just as the marriage is pronounced. John agrees to marry Carly but he has a stipulation: she has to give him the baby after it is born. Lisa changes her mind about her proposal and leaves for the Caribbean. Molly and Brad are vacationing in the Caribbean while laundering the money. Molly accidentally spends one of the bills from the ransom money alerting the officials. Barbara and Hal arrive at the same hotel. Hal finds out from Molly that Carly and John will marry so he faxes a refusal to Carly. Carly wants to go to the Island to talk to Hal but John says it could be dangerous for the baby. When she won't listen to him, he agrees to go with her. At the airport, Carly learns that Julia is going to the Island on the same plane to be with Jack. Someone is following Julia.

Most of Oakdale go to the Caribbean either for divorce or marriage. Brad and Molly go for changing the money, but end up in handcuffs instead. Holden and Lily hire Margo as a private investigator. James gives baby Lily a gift. Hope suffers from seizures and James is blamed. Eddie tells Georgia of happier days.

James encourages Lucinda to spend Thanksgiving with her family at the Snyder farm but when she does go to the farm, she leaves when everyone begins to talk about James. Tom attends his families Thanksgiving dinner. Emily expects Tom for Thanksgiving dinner. Instead, she has Susan and Ellen as guests. Sara Ruth is instrumental in having Brad fired from the church. Julia moves in with Jack. Camille bails Brad out of jail. Lisa throws a big party and the surprise guests of honor are Dr. and Mrs. John Dixon. Camille tells Jack that Brad did not kill his father---his mother did.

Lily and Holden take Hope to the doctor recommended by Ben. While there they meet Rita, the nanny of the other baby. Her employer is annoyed that she has talked to them. He is further annoyed when they come to the house. Jack and Brad clash over the story about their father's death. Brad is angry at Camille and tries to say that he lied to Camille. Sara Ruth warns Ben that he will lose Camille if he doesn't keep her away from Brad. While Eddie and Katie are at Java, a woman loses a fifty-dollar bill and complains to the manager that she was robbed. The manager accuses Eddie. Georgia is hurt to find that Eddie has been lying to her about being a college student. Margo overhears Andy say that Emily made up the mugging but he can't tell her any more because of AA. Margo blasts Andy. Emily ends up telling Tom that she lied. Andy later gets a "dear John" letter from Nikki and he starts drinking again.

Camille tells Ben that she slept with Brad and she loves him. Ben buries himself in work. Tom and Margo get closer. Emily can't make anyone believe that she is being stalked. Molly talks Andy into going to church. Later he says that that was exactly what he needed. Lucinda presses James for the half million dollars he promised to give her. Hope becomes ill again. Carly decides she wants her baby no matter when it is born and she turns to Jack for help.
