Ordered by Molly to invent a reason for Abigail to hate him, Chris pretends Katie is his girlfriend and arranges for Abigail to see the two of them kissing. Carly is unnerved when she keeps seeing a lawyer named Phillips who reminds her of her time in Hong Kong. Camille misses her date with Isaac when John locks her in his office to take an entrance exam. Jake grieves when he gets information from one of Isaac's contacts that a woman fitting Vicky's description was on the doomed plane.

Adam agrees to help by posing as Abigail's boyfriend when Chris is unable to stay away from Abigail. Eddie and Georgia get married and leave town after the D.A. decides not to prosecute her. Tom and Margo renew their vows and Emily gets a faceful of cake from Margo after she makes a scornful toast. Scared by mail from Hong Kong, Carly tries to move up the wedding date, but later agrees to let Emma hold the wedding at the farm. Andy finally learns from Denise that he is Hope's father.

Andy stands by Denise when she is arrested for breaking and entering and the two work together to get Hope out of foster care in Peoria. Holden and Molly give their consent to Abigail dating Chris after Molly agonizes about not telling her daughter about her own affair with Chris. Molly gets an incriminating conversation between Henry and Katie on tape and rushes to show it to Holden. Katie agrees to Henry's plan to pre-empt Molly by showing Holden the photos of Molly and Chris. On her wedding day, Phillips demands Carly leave with him for a reunion with his Hong Kong boss and stabs Isaac in the chest.

Carly fibs to a crushed Jack that she's going to Paris and then leaves town with Phillips to meet up with her former Hong Kong employer. John operates on Isaac after Ben admits to Camille that Isaac is his half-brother. Henry shows Holden the photos of Molly and Chris, forcing Molly to resign, and later steals the tape from her purse so her accusing Katie looks unwarranted. Holden comes home to find Chris asleep in bed with Abigail and throws him out, warning him he knows about the affair. Chris confesses the affair to Abigail after she plans for them to run away, and she confronts Molly.

Molly lapses into a coma after hitting her head chasing after Abigail. John is unable to get Lucinda to accept his marriage proposal in order to help him gain custody of Hope and he surmises she's interested in Jake. Andy punches Chris when he learns his brother had an affair with his ex-fiancée, Molly. Jack believes Carly left Oakdale under duress but then gets a package from her that contradicts his theory. John calls his lawyer after Denise rushes Hope to the hospital for possible ingestion of cold pills.

Lily meets Simon, the owner of the love letters. Abigail gets off her flight to Saudi Arabia and decides to stay in New York, where she is promptly robbed. Abigail later gets help from Bryant, who is actually Lucinda's grandson and on his way to Oakdale. Chris follows Jennifer to New York and watches as the two friends reunite. Denise overhears there's evidence that she used to be a hooker and tells Andy she agrees with his suggestion that they get married as a means of keeping custody of Hope.

Andy and Denise's marriage helps them gain custody of Hope, but Ben is crushed to hear Denise is already married. Henry invents death threats against Katie to get Holden away from Lily. Jake and Lucinda head to New York to find her grandson Bryant after his impostor arrives in Oakdale. Abigail discovers Chris has been in New York following her and watching over her. Lily gives Simon a key to the house, unaware he's already broken in and ransacked her desk.

At Lily's urging Simon moves into Cal's house and later breaks into her safe to look through her jewelry. Katie betrays Chris's confidence by telling Holden that Abigail is in New York. Lucinda and Jake set up a fake music trivia game that lures in Bryant, and he agrees to return to Oakdale with his grandmother after she threatens to cut off his trust fund.

Jake meets his sister-in-law Marley in New York and she comforts him about losing Vicky. Chris learns from Jake that the incriminating photos that were sold to the tabloids were supplied by someone at WOAK.

Chris is arrested for stalking Katie and the judge at his arraignment hearing denies him bail after Margo testifies against him. Bryant and Lucinda make a bet that he'll be a millionaire in 6 months. Denise is alarmed when Andy kisses her and pleads with Ben to give her time to get out of her marriage. When the construction site goes up in flames, Lily gets the children to safety, but Simon suffers burns to his hands when he tries to retrieve her family photos. Isaac vows revenge when he has to close down the club because his liquor license wasn't renewed.

Isaac tells Denise his theory that Andy is faking his paralysis. Although she's skeptical, she agrees to look for signs that he's right. Craig allows Katie to stay with him. Lucinda tells Bryant that he lost their bet and must begin work at the City Times mailroom. Julia is horrified to receive flowers from David telling her he knows what she did. David later visits her in the flesh and taunts her with being the person who tipped Lowe off to Carly's whereabouts and threatens to tell Jack. Cornered, Julia helps David get out of town. .Julia tells Lisa what she'd done, but does not tell a suspicious Hal. Jack though finds a bloody rag in Julia's car and gets her to admit that she helped David leave town. At that moment, Hal called to give them the news that David Stenbeck was dead.

Molly believes Jake is being haunted by Vicky when she hears a recording of "Beautiful Dreamer" sung by the pilot of Vicky's plane. Lily tells Holden she's decided to give their marriage another chance.
