Buchanan will miss AW/ATWT role

Jensen Buchanan admits a bit of melancholy as she joins the cast of General Hospital. The actress, who debuted as General Hospital's Melissa on January 29, says that she very much looks forward to work with Jackie Zeman (Bobbie Spencer) and A Martinez (Roy DiLucca), but "Melissa" will be a new venture for her.


For the past nine years, the Emmy-nominated Buchanan has played Vicky McKinnon, first on Another World and then on As The World Turns.


Buchanan arrives at General Hospital just as the show's new executive producer, Jill Farren Phelps comes aboard. Buchanan and Phelps worked together in 1995 and 1996 when Phelps was executive producer of Another World..
