Garner released from ATWT

Newcomer Hunter Garner (Billy Ross) has been released from As The World Turns.


Garner, who joined ATWT just six months ago, says "There's no regret or hard feelings. It was a wonderful experience."


According to Garner the reason for his release was storyline dictated. Shortly after arriving in Oakdale, Billy fell in love with his cousin Bryant's girlfriend.


Garner first aired on As The World Turns on September 4th, 2001. His final appearance will come during the May Sweeps period. The role will not be recast.


The announcement that Garner will leave the show comes just a few weeks after the release of Craig Lawlor (Adam Hughes), also for storyline reasons.
