Michael, who plays Officer Jack Snyder, grew up with his parents, two sisters and a brother in New York. He attended Nazareth College with the idea of becoming an architect. However, after graduating he decided to pursue acting since he had garnered many lead roles in school productions.
After acting in repertory theater, Michael landed the role of Raoul in the national tour of Phantom of the Opera. He later made his Broadway debut in the original cast of Smokey Joe's Café.
Michael's hobbies include softball and golf. He lives in New York with his wife Lauri, a musical therapist he met in college, and their children, Christopher Michael (b. 6/21/97), Kathleen Rose (b.2/14/00) and Annabelle Jayne (b.4/05/04).
