Colleen Zenk
Colleen, who played heroine Barbara Ryan, has worked professionally since the age of nine and became committed to her career while attending Catholic University of America, where she majored in Theater. Colleen made her Broadway debut in
Bring Back Birdie with Chita Rivera and Donald O'Connor. Her film debut was in John Huston's adaptation of
Annie.
Colleen is also a talented stage actress and has toured extensively with the Army Special Services in Europe as well as national tours.
She has a total of six children: four girls and two boys. Colleen devotes much of her time to the national chapters of Easter Seals, the March of Dimes, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She has also volunteered her time and talent to Bread and Roses, an AIDS hospice in Connecticut.
Colleen's hobbies include interior design, 18th and19th century antiques, and gardening.
