Colleen, who plays heroine Barbara Ryan, has worked professionally since the age of nine and became committed to her career while attending Catholic University of America, where she majored in Theater. Colleen made her Broadway debut in "Bring Back Birdie" with Chita Rivera and Donald O'Connor. Her film debut was in John Huston's adaptation of Annie.
Colleen is also a talented stage actress and has toured extensively with the Army Special Services in Europe as well as national tours.
She is married to former co-star Mark Pinter (ex-Brian McColl) and the couple have a total of 6 children, four girls and two boys. Colleen and Mark devote much of their time to the national chapters of Easter Seals, the March of Dimes, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. They've also volunteered their time and talent to Bread and Roses, and AIDS hospice in Connecticut. The Pinters have performed and/or produced in the play Love Letters to raise money for these various charities.
Colleen's hobbies include interior design, 18th-19th century antiques, and gardening.
