Amber throws a dinner party and invites CJ and Kimberly. Kimberly tearfully says goodbye to Rick and wishes him luck with Amber and the baby. Macy reunites Sally and Adam (Myles). Adam explains his disappearance to Sally who breaks down, but throws him out once she finds out about his remarriage and his daughter.

After the wedding, Rick and Amber move into Stephanie's guest house. Rick admits to Stephanie that he still has feelings for Kimberly but he is going to give his marriage all that he has got to give. Rick gets the good news and spreads it around. Everyone meets at the Forrester mansion in wait for the new arrival. Rick meets his son. Brooke and Amber have an angry face to face confrontation. Brooke announces a contest for a new supermodel for the fashion show. Amber and Kimberly both apply, but Brooke chooses Kimberly. Amber goes home and complains to Rick about his mother. The Spectra gang worries that they will not be ready for the fashion show and will be disgraced. CJ has a plan to make sure the Spectras will come out on top this time. As Macy and Thorne prepare for their wedding, Brooke makes one last attempt with Thorne. She tells him she loves him and she asks him not to marry Macy. Even though he does has feelings for her, Thorne tells Brooke that he wants a happy life with kids and a future, and based one her track record with the Forrester men, he knows that he can never have that kind of life with her. He tells her to move on with her life because he is going to marry Macy after the fashion show.

The fashion show begins.....the Forresters begin with an excellent collection, but technical as well as other problems arise and Spectra, much to CJ's delight, is quick to step in and save the day. The Forresters are upset, but hope that their reputation will be restored when Kimberly models the show stopper. Unfortunately, the train of the wedding dress gets caught on the hook planted by CJ and the show ends with Kimberly in her underwear. The Forresters are shocked by the events and blame the Spectras. Adam attacks Eric for embarrassing his daughter. Thorne is so distraught that he cancels his wedding to Macy telling her that their families will always be at war. Brooke is surprised by Thorne's action and goes to his house to comfort him. She tries to seduce him when Macy unexpectedly shows up.

The Spectras celebrate over their victory at the fashion show. Macy attempts to reconcile with Thorne and asks him to marry her tonight. Thorne tells Macy that he does not want to discuss their relationship tonight and asks her to leave. She refuses and eventually catches Brooke hiding under the bed in her lingerie. She accuses Brooke of trying to steal her man and tells her that she is not the kind of woman Thorne would want. Macy begs Thorne to tell her what is going on. He tells Macy that he loves her regardless of how things look, but she sees that something has occurred between Brooke and Thorne. She slaps Brooke and tearfully runs out. Becky realizes that she misses her baby and since Amber does not want her around, she decides to go home and check on the baby. Amber gets nervous and asks Becky to stay for the summer. Kimberly can't get Rick off her mind. Taylor finds her dream house.

Taylor comes in contact with a homeless man who later dies of tuberculosis. CJ takes Becky out on a date and after a few drinks, they hit it off. Rick and Amber spend some quality time together. Thorne tries to get contact with Macy who tells him to leave her alone. Stephanie tries to bring Macy and Thorne together by going to speak to Macy. When she gets to Spectra, Macy inadvertently tells Stephanie what happened when she showed up at Thorne's house-Stephanie is outraged! Brooke invites Thorne to the cabin at Big Bear, but he says no. Stephanie bursts into Thorne's office demanding an answer regarding his relationship with Brooke. Thorne admits to Stephanie that he loves Macy, but if there were no Macy there would be a Brooke. Stephanie cannot believe Thorne's feelings about Brooke after all Brooke has done to their family. She storms out of Thorne's office on a rampage vowing that Brooke will never to do Thorne what she did to Eric and Ridge!

Brooke plans a romantic evening for her and Thorne at Big Bear. Stephanie finds out about Brooke's plan and vows to stop her from destroying Thorne's life. Stephanie is outraged when she gets to the cabin and attacks Brooke. Thorne intercedes and tries to calm his mother down. Taylor and Ridge learn that she may have come into contact with tuberculosis. Stephanie tries to stab Brooke, but Thorne stops her and takes her from Big Bear back to the Forrester house. Taylor is tested and she does have tuberculosis. She and Ridge are devastated. She is admitted to the hospital, but she refuses to take anything that will harm the babies. She is happy to see her father, Jack, in town. Amber arranges for Becky to interview for a position at Forrester international, but is shocked at her appearance. Rick and Kimberly are away and college orientation and feel the heat!

Becky complains because Amber won't let her near the baby. Stephanie talks to Eric about Becky, and mentions to him that she put a baby up for adoption recently. Eric is impressed with the change in Becky. Ridge learns that Taylor was infected by a drug resistant strain of TB and she cannot take the stronger drugs.

Eric decides Kimberly would be the perfect spokesperson for Forrester's new Princess line. As Becky is about to leave the motel, she notices the police around her car.

Unaware that Thorne has sworn his love to another, Macy rushes to the hospital and into his arms, offering support and sympathy at a bad time in the Forrester family's life. Brooke goes to see the comatose Stephanie and tells her that she loves Thorne. Stephanie awakens and tries to choke her. Stephanie, now awake, says that she can't remember anything past visiting Macy. She is left paralyzed on the left side. Eric tells his sons that he made a terrible mistake when he divorced Stephanie; now he wants to make it up to her by asking her to remarry him. He plans to take Stephanie home with him and care for her.

Brooke goes to Stephanie's room to tell her the truth about her and Thorne. She doesn't know that the doctor has just finished calling Eric and her sons that another shock could kill her. Thorne arrives just in time to get Brooke out of the room. He makes her promise that he will never go to Stephanie's room again and she will not tell Stephanie about them. Brooke goes to Eric to plead her cause but he shouts at her and tells her that he wants her to stay away from his family from now on. Eric calls the family together at Stephanie's bedside and asks Stephanie to marry him. When she says yes, he brings in a minister and they have the ceremony right there and there. Thorne serves as the best man and Macy, the only non-family member present, as matron of honor. When Brooke hears about this, she is angry at the way the family has manipulated Thorne. She goes to Ridge who accuses her of trying to "get to him" through Thorne. He even kisses her to prove his point but Brooke tells him that she felt nothing and he has to get used to that.
