Part two of a two-part look back at the events of the past year in Los Angeles. This week, our columnist discusses the best that The Bold and the Beautiful had to offer in 2006.
Susan Flannery
January 8, 2007
Jackie made a mistake a thousand years ago that should have been between her and her son. For Stephanie to exploit that in such a public venue was disgusting.
Jack Wagner
January 15, 2007
It seems obvious that Nick is starting to develop feelings for Taylor...or is he? Could this be another way to stick it to the Forresters, or is it genuine?
Darlene Conley
January 22, 2007
Sally's battles with Stephanie, and her antics in the fashion industry, gave The Bold and the Beautiful a much-needed shot in the arm. Darlene Conley will be missed.
Hunter Tylo
January 29, 2007
Why should Taylor care about the Forresters? They all sit in judgment like she's a war criminal every time Nick's name comes up.
Katherine Kelly Lang
February 5, 2007
There was not a new column this week, so instead, please enjoy a look back at what was happening in Los Angeles during the week of February 7, 2005.
Kyle Lowder
February 12, 2007
Rick, by virtue of being Brooke's oldest child, should be around thirty. Phoebe is eighteen, and has said as much in her dialogue. Rick's too old for her.
John McCook
February 19, 2007
Shows like Cheers, Friends, and Will & Grace have all been sent to the Land of Forever Syndication over the past twenty years, and yet The Bold and the Beautiful is still going strong.
Hunter Tylo
February 26, 2007
Taylor and Eric should be dealing with Rick and Phoebe together. Taylor has plenty of experience dealing with an older person going for her younger child.
Jack Wagner
March 5, 2007
Given the tragic demise of everyone's favorite smelly home away from home for Nick Marone, let's take a look back at some of the best moments that the Marlin had.
Kyle Lowder
March 12, 2007
Why is Ashley really in Los Angeles? Does she just want to jump back in the sack with Rick, or could she be there for far more sinister reasons?
Katherine Kelly Lang
March 19, 2007
It seems like there might be trouble in paradise soon for Brooke and Ridge, due to the messy little relationship between Rick and Phoebe.
Jack Wagner
March 26, 2007
With Nick and Brooke, viewers never knew when the other shoe was going to drop. It was always that great feeling of desperate, obstacle-laden passion without a clear sense of permanence.
Adrienne Frantz
April 2, 2007
Our columnist was unable to provide a new column this week. Instead, please enjoy a look back at what was happening in Los Angeles during the week of April 4, 2005.
Ronn Moss
April 9, 2007
So all Ridge had to do was punch Brooke's son for her to finally realize what a pig he has been all these years?
Katherine Kelly Lang
April 16, 2007
Since she walked into her first scene with Stephanie and Ridge at the first of many Forrester family parties, Brooke Logan has been wreaking havoc within fashion's First Family.
Hunter Tylo
April 23, 2007
Taylor's urgent need to give Nick a baby is pretty crazy. Where's the fire? Is her uterus going to turn into a pumpkin at midnight?
Kyle Lowder
April 30, 2007
Kids grow up so quickly on The Bold and the Beautiful. One day, they are cute little bundles of joy, and the next day they are plotting corporate takeovers!
Jack Wagner
May 7, 2007
How gross and exceedingly uncomfortable was it to have Bridget standing there last week, handing a sperm cup to Nick so that he could produce swimmers for a child with Taylor?
Lesley-Anne Down
May 14, 2007
Jackie's devotion to Nick is admirable, but she really needs to get a man! Why isn't she making a move on Eric?
Katherine Kelly Lang
May 21, 2007

May 28, 2007
Every soap needs someone like Brooke. Her rap sheet is longer than a football field, and it's filled with nearly unthinkable deeds, but last week, she did something that was completely unexpected.
Susan Flannery
June 4, 2007
How long can this show survive on Brooke, Ridge, Nick, Taylor, Eric, and Stephanie? The other characters aren't really getting enough screen time for viewers to care about them.
Hunter Tylo
June 11, 2007
Taylor married Ridge ages ago, then she spent years looking over her shoulder, waiting for Brooke to pounce. Now Taylor has married Nick, and she will be looking over her shoulder again.
John McCook
June 18, 2007
Eric still needs a little backbone, but he is generally a good dad. Thorne is a good dad, though we never get to see him. Ridge is awful, and should never been allowed to procreate.
Ronn Moss
June 25, 2007
It takes longer to place an order at the McDonald's drive-thru than it took Judge Knots Landing to decide to send Ridge home.
Jack Wagner
July 2, 2007
Could Nick have been more obvious about his true feelings for Brooke? He looked like someone had just kicked his dog when Brooke announced that she was going back to Forrester Originals last week.
Katherine Kelly Lang
July 9, 2007
It wouldn't hurt for the writers to show Brooke taking some time out between sex partners to focus on her kids. It would be a great way to show that she is actually ready to mature a bit.
Kyle Lowder
July 16, 2007
Is Rick thirteen years old? He is acting more immature every time that he is around Constantine. What's next? A fight after school in the playground?
Jack Wagner
July 23, 2007
After last week, it's obvious that Brooke and Nick are going to reunite, so why are viewers being forced to wait for several weeks while the characters dance around the inevitable?
Sean Kanan
July 30, 2007
This show is not American Idol. It's a crazy and unbelievable soap that centers on a family in the fashion business. More dresses, less cheap karaoke.
Ronn Moss
August 6, 2007
It was nice to see Ridge pluck his big head out of his rear long enough to make amends with Ashley last week. She's a great addition to the show, and a formidable adversary for Stephanie.
Winsor Harmon
August 13, 2007
Stephanie tossed Donna around the beach house, and Thorne didn't say anything about it. He should have restrained his mother and told her to leave, but no one stands up to Stephanie.
Drew Tyler Bell
August 20, 2007
Our columnist was unable to provide a new column for this week. Instead, please enjoy a look back at what was happening in Los Angeles during the week of August 22, 2005.
Katherine Kelly Lang
August 27, 2007
Brooke fears that her rapist might do something to keep her from getting her kids back, so she has refused to call the police, and she has refused to seek immediate medical attention.
Heather Tom
September 3, 2007
Katie might just be the one Logan who could go completely against type and save the Logan family once and for all.
Jennifer Gareis
September 10, 2007
Donna couldn't care less about Thorne, and she makes no bones about it. He's such a nice guy, and he would be a great leading male if he wasn't always being treated like the gardener.
Susan Flannery
September 17, 2007
Last week, Stephanie's duplicity was revealed, but the storyline fell flat because she was nowhere to be found. Stephanie should have been there to take her lumps from everyone like an adult.
Winsor Harmon
September 24, 2007
It was nice to see Thorne for a few minutes last week; unfortunately, he's probably headed back to the shelf that he was sitting on for so many months prior to his sex-romp with Donna.
Kyle Lowder
October 1, 2007
Does Rick even realize that he's twenty-eight years old? Happy Hormone Boy needs to leave the girls alone and focus on finding a woman his own age; preferably, one that has never heard of the Forresters.
Katherine Kelly Lang
October 8, 2007
Ashley has made it clear that she is not some shrinking violet who will sit at home waiting for Brooke's next move like other women have.
John McCook
October 15, 2007
Our columnist was unable to provide a new column this week. Instead, please enjoy a look back at what was happening in Los Angeles during the week of October 17, 2005.
Ronn Moss
October 22, 2007
Ridge is so blinded by the colossal ego stroke that is going on that he can't see that he is being duped yet again. Brooke changes her desires for men as often as the sun comes up.
Hunter Tylo
October 29, 2007
Poor Nick and Taylor. One can only hope that Ridge won't do something to piss Brooke off again, because if he does, then all bets are off. Be afraid, Taylor...be very afraid.
Darlene Conley
November 5, 2007
Sally was unfazed by the accusations of design-stealing, and she didn't have any skeletons in her closet. Her character was wild, and slightly sleazy. Jackie simply can't compete.
Jennifer Gareis
November 12, 2007
Let's face it...Donna is not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. She has the depth of a paper towel, and the brain power to match.
John McCook
November 19, 2007
It's great to see Stephen Logan and Eric Forrester being given fully functioning spines to hold them up to the likes of Stephanie.
Heather Tom
November 26, 2007
Katie was acting very weird before the shooting, and she knew where the gun was. She disappeared right around the time that Stephanie was shot, and it's the quiet ones who usually snap!
Alley Mills
December 3, 2007
There are plenty of people who have a reason to shoot Stephanie, but having Pam return during this storyline was a real curve ball.
Kyle Lowder
December 10, 2007
Rick has been consistent about his obsession with Ashley, and he seems to really care about her. Hopefully, he'll keep her away from the swirling vortex of insanity that is Ridge Forrester!
John McCook
December 17, 2007
It's funny to watch Stephanie grovel for Eric's attention, but how long can his dalliance with Donna really last?
Jack Wagner
December 24, 2007
Part one of a two-part look back at the events of the past year in Los Angeles. This week, our columnist discusses the worst that The Bold and the Beautiful had to offer in 2007.
