GH interested in Bobbie Eakes

Officially, the word is "no comment," but sources close to ABC say that Bobbie Eakes (ex Macy Alexander, The Bold and the Beautiful) has been approached to join the cast of General Hospital.

Eakes, whose character on The Bold and the Beautiful is presumed dead, would star as a new character on General Hospital.

Neither ABC nor Eakes' camp offered comment on the reports.
