Jennifer Gareis welcomes a baby boy

The stork has visited B&B star Jennifer Gareis and her husband.


Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan) and her husband, Bobby, are the proud parents of a baby boy.


The couple welcomed their son on June 11 at 7:33pm and the little one weighed in at 9 lbs and 8 ounces and measured 22 inches long. The baby has yet to be given a name.


"Mommy and baby are both happy and healthy," a spokesperson said.


Though Gareis' pregnancy was not written into Donna's storyline, the show did take several opportunities to have fun with the actress' pregnancy. In a recent scene, Pam mused that Donna had put on quite a bit of weight.


Gareis joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful in July 2006. Prior to that, she appeared for several years as Grace Turner on B&B's sister soap, The Young and the Restless.


Gareis is currently on maternity leave from The Bold and the Beautiful. It is unclear when the actress will return to the screen.
