Brooke told Eric that she had thought about reconciling with him but thought he and Stephanie should be together. Rick insisted that Erica stop as Ridge arrived to tell him about Amber and reveal Erica's true identity. Rick blasted Erica and was relieved when Amber returned home. Eric was stunned to see Sheila and realize that Erica was really Mary Warwick. Thinking Sheila would go see Eric, Taylor went to the Forrester house and was shot while trying to prevent Sheila from shooting Brooke. Later, Brooke was shot when she tried to prevent Sheila from shooting Eric.
