
Along the Pacific Coast Highway, Thorne chases after Ally after he sees her in the road. Taylor manages to slam on her brakes just before she almost hits the little girl. Relieved she's OK; Thorne picks up his daughter and hugs her. Upset with both of them, Ally screams at Thorne that she hates Taylor and doesn't understand how he could marry the woman that killed her mother. Thorne admits that at first he blamed Taylor but then he came to realize it was an accident and he forgave her. Taylor tries to explain to Ally how hard she tried to keep her car from hitting Darla. When they get back to Thorne's house Ally runs to bed still upset with the whole situation. Once they are alone, Thorne tries to comfort Taylor by telling her once Ally has time to process it she will forgive her just like he did. Taylor doubts it will be that easy pointing out that he's an adult and it took him a while, and a child may never be able to accept it. Taylor tells him they can't get married as long as Ally feels this way. Ever optimistic, Thorne gives her a hug, tells her he loves her and in time Ally will come around.
At the Forresters', Bridget confesses to Eric that she allowed Shane to stay at her place for a few days so she could keep an eye on him and Phoebe. Then they discuss the Nick situation. Bridget understands why Eric is upset with Nick. Eric angrily tells her that a sailor has no business running a fashion company. Bridget defends Nick saying that he did it mainly for his mother. Eric acknowledges that what Stephanie did to Jackie is horrible, but thinks Bridget is lying to herself if she doesn't realize Nick's actions have more to do with Brooke. Eric worries that Bridget is still hung up on Nick. Bridget assures her father she is keeping her distance, but admits that she still has feelings for him. Bridget wistfully thinks things would have turned out different for them if she had known about Nick's troubled childhood.
At Taylor's, Brooke drops by to see how things are going with Ally and is surprised to find Nick there. He explains that Taylor rushed off to Thorne's to try to make things better after Ally found out the truth. Brooke thinks it's nice that he is waiting for Taylor to get back, but not appropriate. She scolds him about his recent actions towards the Forresters. Not wanting to discuss it, Nick tells her he had to move on and Brooke is shocked when he hands her divorce papers. Suspicious, Brooke tells him he wouldn't be so anxious to get the divorce papers signed unless something else is going on in his life. She asks him if it is Taylor, but before he can answer, Taylor walks in. Taylor is an emotional wreck from what just happened and Nick tries to comfort her. Nick tells Taylor once more that he believes she is only marrying Thorne out of guilt. Annoyed by Nick's obvious interest, Brooke says Taylor is a grown woman and can make her own decisions. Brooke watches as Nick continues to fawn over Taylor, until she can take it no more and demands to know if something is going on between them.
At Taylor's house, Brooke questioned Taylor as to her feelings for Nick. Brooke was suspicious that Nick and Taylor have feelings for one another. Brooke became suspicious when Nick suddenly decided to sign their divorce papers after have refused to for so long.
Brooke advised that Taylor cannot be with Thorne because she is committed to Nick. Taylor told Brooke that whether they have feeling for one another or not in none of her business. Brooke told Nick that he is close to Taylor because of therapy. Brooke told Nick that Taylor is not what he needs. Brooke privately told Nick that she cannot handle it if he has feelings for Taylor.
Phoebe took Shane home to speak with Ridge. Ridge did not want to hear anything that Shane had to say. Shane explained that he admired the type of person that Phoebe is and that is the type of person that he plans on becoming.
Bridget told Eric that she continues to have feelings for Nick. Eric told Bridget that Nick is not good for her in lieu in what he has done recently. Eric told Bridget to be careful; Eric felt going back to Nick could be dangerous for Bridget.
Nick told Taylor that he is concerned about her because of Ally. Nick advised Taylor that she feels guilty about killing Darla; however, marrying Thorne is not the answer because Nick feels that Taylor really does not love Thorne. Taylor was adamant that she loves Thorne and is committed to him. Taylor thought Brooke is right; perhaps Nick is trying to hurt the Forrester family by advising her to not marry Thorne. Bridget called Nick. Taylor encouraged Nick to spend time with Bridget.
Brooke told Ridge that Taylor may have feelings for Nick. Brooke explained that Nick may be trying to hurt Thorne by making a play for Taylor or Nick may have feelings for Taylor.
Meanwhile, Nick nixed Taylor's advice to spend time with Bridget. Thorne called and told Taylor that Ally understood that Taylor killed Darla accidentally. Taylor and Thorne decided to not post pone their wedding. Nick told Taylor to be honest with herself that she is marrying Thorne out of obligation.
At Taylor's, Taylor holds the globe that Nick gave her and remembers what he told her about why she shouldn't marry Thorne. Ridge walks in and asks her what she was thinking so deeply about. Taylor tells him she is worried about Ally. Ridge thinks Nick may be more of a problem than Ally. He then questions her about Brooke's theory that she and Nick are more than friends. Taylor is mad that Brooke keeps butting into her life. Ridge is afraid Nick is trying to stir up more trouble for the Foresters' by breaking Thorne and Taylor up. Taylor defends Nick, refusing to believe he is would try to sabotage her and Thorne's wedding.
At the Forresters', Eric and Pam prepare for the Thorne and Taylor's wedding. Felicia thinks they are being overly optimistic about the wedding happening so soon. Thorne comes in with Ally, hoping his family can convince her to forgive Taylor. Thorne explains to Ally again that the accident wasn't Taylor's fault. Ally continues to blame Taylor and wants to go home. Felicia tells Ally that she understands that often it seems like blaming somebody will help make all the bad stuff easier to accept, but Felicia adds that it is not fair since what Taylor did was an accident. She reminds Ally that everyone has accidents sometimes. When Taylor arrives she tries to reason with the little girl. Taylor tells Ally that she doesn't want the wedding to happen unless Ally is comfortable about it. Taylor reiterates how much she wishes she could bring Darla back but she can't. Even though Taylor knows she can't replace Darla she promises Ally she can take care of her. Thorne tells Ally he was sad until he forgave Taylor. He encourages her to forgive Taylor saying it will make her feel better. Realizing how sad her father is, Ally folds, and agrees to forgive Taylor. After they hug and make up, Eric brags about how mature Ally is. Relieved, Thorne hugs Taylor and excitedly tells her she is going to become Mrs. Forrester tomorrow. As they hug, Taylor doesn't seem too happy about that prospect. Later when she is alone, Ally angrily scribbles Taylor's face out of all the pictures in her scrapbook.
At Forrester, Bridget comes by to see Nick and is a little surprised that he is going through with his divorce so soon. He tells her he's ready to move on. Jackie overhears Bridget and Nick talking and walks in on them. Bridget apologizes to Jackie for all the horrible things the Forresters have put her through. Jackie and Bridget discuss Thorne and Taylor's upcoming wedding and wonder what will happen now that Ally knows the truth. Nick interrupts saying that he thinks Taylor is marrying Thorne out of guilt. Bridget agrees that they are rushing the wedding, but thinks that Thorne and Taylor really do love each other. After Bridget leaves, Jackie tells Nick how upset she is about his divorce from Brooke. She encourages Nick to pursue Taylor. Nick argues that he doesn't want to ride in on anymore white horses. Convinced Taylor is the woman for her son, she pressures him to stop the wedding. Despite her efforts, Nick refuses to come between Taylor and Thorne. He has let Taylor know how he feels and says it is all up to her now.
Today was the wedding day for Thorne and Taylor. It was to be one of the happiest days of their lives, but, it turned out to be clouded with problems and a postponement of their wedding.
First, Stephanie's plane was grounded in Chicago due to inclement weather. Back in LA, everyone decided that the wedding was to go on as planned. As Taylor asked Alexandria to help her get ready for the wedding, Alexandria threw a fit as Taylor was about to open the bag that contained the wedding dress that Eric had designed. Seeing the gown in shreds, Taylor was mortified. Thorne entered and the two of them realized that Alexandria was still not accepting the marriage between her dad and Taylor. They therefore called off the wedding and as Thorne went to announce to their family that there would be no wedding today, Taylor dealt with Alexandria, who claimed to be a very bad girl.
Taylor, who had slipped out of the Forrester home and went back to her own, had a visit from Nick who was surprised to find her there. Taylor told him that Abby was not ready for them to get married, and broke down in Nick's arms as she realized what had happened on the biggest day in her life.
Brooke offers Donna a job a Forrester Originals, but Donna declares her loyalty to Nick and Forrester Creations. Eric's attorney warns him that using the Forrester name could possibly bring a lawsuit but he doesn't care. Everyone gathers for the exciting press release and debut of Forrester Originals. Nick and his staff watch from a TV in his office. Eric and Ridge assure their loyal patrons they will still receive the wonderful craftsmanship they have always received from the Forrester family. They introduce Brooke in a new Forrester Original gown. Ridge ends up proposing to Brooke on the runway and she accepts. Nick is angered by their use of the Forrester name and by Ridge using a publicity stunt to propose to Brooke. Storm thinks they should sue the Forresters for using it, but Nick plans to beat them by buying out all of their high-end distributors.
