Helen Logan was the matriarch of the Logan family, mother of Stephen and grandmother to Storm, Brooke, Donna and Katie. Although she loved her daughter-in-law Beth, she could never let Beth forget that the reason that her son had left the family years earlier was because Beth could never let go of her first love, Eric, and Stephen could never live up to the success that Eric had made for himself. She lived on her own in Los Angeles, until the day that she opened her door, expecting to find her granddaughter Donna. Helen was robbed of all the money she had on her, including her most recent pension check, and moved in with Beth and her grandchildren. When Stephen and Beth moved to Paris, Helen went with them. She has returned occasionally for weddings and other family events.
