Brief Character History
Thorne grew up as the younger of the Forrester sons, desperate to prove himself to his parents. After numerous failed relationships with Macy and a disastrous marriage to Brooke, he has finally found happiness with Darla Einstein. Thorne was thrilled when his parents made him president of Forrester, only to have them yank it away when Ridge decided to come home. After years of being the unappreciated younger son, Thorne finally decided he had enough, and left Forrester to join Spectra, taking many of their designs with him. But rather than ride on his father and brother's designs, Thorne had a change of heart, and decided not only to make the newly renamed Spectra Couture famous for it's own designs, but he also began designing as well, something he had given up years earlier when his family had disencouraged him, telling him Ridge was better. After Sally bet everything on Spectra winning the fashion show, Thorne was out of a job and out of a company, but Stephanie, having recently discovered she was the rightful owner of Forrester Creations, re-installed Thorne as president of the company.
