Days of our Lives favorite Jennifer Deveraux is headed back to Salem on a full-time basis. Actress Melissa Reeves has signed a contract with the show and she'll return to the screen this fall.

Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Deveraux) is returning to Days of our Lives -- and this time the fan favorite will be sticking around.

TVGuide's Michael Logan reports that Reeves has signed a contract with the NBC soap and she'll report back to work in September. Soap fans, however, will still have to wait a while longer before they'll see the actress on-screen. Due to Days of our Lives' advance taping schedule, Reeves' first scenes will not air until November!

Earlier this year, there was rampant fan speculation that Reeves might join real-life husband, Scott Reeves (ex-Jake Hogansen, DAYS) on ABC's General Hospital, where he plays Steven Lars Webber.

Meanwhile, Logan hints that Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux) might also be on deck to return to Salem later this year.

Melissa Reeves assumed the role of Jennifer Horton in 1985.
