Days of our Lives fans can look forward to yet another soap opera veteran hitting the canvas, because Another World alum Alla Korot (ex-Jenna Norris) will soon be checking into Salem.
The actress took to Twitter to announce the news, writing: "Heading over to @DaysofourLives shooting 1st episode on Jan4 :)) look out for Janet Bernard!"
Most of the daytime community is familiar with Korot's work. She not only landed on the AW canvas with a couple of high-profile fictional suitors (Matt Crane's Matt Cory and Ricky Paull Goldin's Dean Frame, to be specific) but also earned a Daytime Emmy nomination in 1991 for her work as the popular character.
In addition to her AW role, Korot is known as General Hospital: Night Shift's Stacy Sloan and All My Children's Dr. Allison "Allie" Martin.
An airdate for the actress has yet to be announced, but fans can expect for her to air sometime in June.
In other DAYS casting news, both Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane) and Molly Burnett (Melanie Jonas) are heading back to the canvas in 2016 -- meaning Salem will be mighty full in the New Year!
