Days of our Lives is reportedly saying goodbye to Casey Moss in a dramatic moment that will take his character, J.J. Deveraux, off the screen during February Sweeps.

Fans of Days of our Lives have been celebrating the soap's recent one-year renewal, but there's one downside that will dampen some spirits: the next year of the show reportedly won't be including Casey Moss, who is set to exit the role of J.J. Deveraux.

She Knows Soaps reports that the actor will be taking his final bow as Jack and Jennifer's son during February Sweeps. There's no further information about how J.J. might exit the canvas, but it probably won't be a happy ending. As fans have seen, the character hasn't had an easy time of it lately, having spiraled into pill addiction after it was revealed that that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) killed his girlfriend, Haley (Thia Megia).

Moss took on the role of DAYS' J.J. in 2013. Some of his other acting credits include Youthful Daze, The Last Champion, and The Circle, which he executive produced. Moss is also a talented singer and guitarist, having moved to L.A. to pursue music.

What do you think about DAYS' decision to write J.J. off the show? How much will you miss Casey Moss as Jack and Jennifer's son? We want to hear from you -- so drop your comments in the Comments section below, tweet about it on Twitter, share it on Facebook, or chat about it on our Message Boards.
