It turns out that when Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera) told fans "let’s not write Kristen Dimera off quite yet," she was absolutely right.
Days of our Lives fans were upset when, in May, Kristen DiMera went on the run with her daughter, Rachel, and seemingly disappeared from the canvas for good. Portrayer Stacy Haiduk bid a farewell to fans and even talked about making a potential return to The Young and the Restless, leading a lot of viewers to believe that she'd probably not return to Salem -- anytime soon, at least. But it turns out she'll be back later this month!
Soaps reports that Haiduk will be returning to the canvas as Kristen on Monday, June 29. There's no word yet on how long she'll be sticking around or what viewers can expect storyline-wise -- except that it will no doubt be filled with all of the drama that fans know comes along with anything related to Kristen!
As Soap Central previously reported, Haiduk did tease upon her exit from DAYS that there was always a chance she'd be back. "So yesterday you all read that I was leaving Days!!! But let's not write Kristen Dimera off quite yet!" she shared at the time. "Is anyone really gone in Salem. After all I am the Phoenix!"
Bad girl Kristen DiMera was originally portrayed by Eileen Davidson from 1993 to 1998 and in various short stints after that. Haiduk, who's also known as The Young and the Restless' Patty Williams, took over the DAYS role in 2017.
