The actor, who's known for playing Caleb McKinnon on The Bay and Colin Morris on Youthful Daze, took to social media with a tease about his gig at the NBC soap opera.

Unfortunately, there aren't any further details about Charlie available at this time, but fans can watch for Manning to first air in the role the week of October 5.

Manning first fell in love with acting while performing in stage productions like Oliver!, The Secret Garden, and Camelot at his Colorado high school. A decade later, the Florida native took the stage opposite Rae Dawn Chong in Lisa Phillips Visca's original play Climax at the Santa Monica Playhouse. His film credits include Disney's popular snowboarding movie Cloud 9, MTV's Teen Wolf, and the third installment of the God's Not Dead series. His TV credits include Hawaii Five-0, Major Crimes, Crash & Bernstein, Operation Cupcake, and The Haves and the Have Nots.

Manning is also an accomplished producer with credits like the Showtime documentary Kidnapped for Christ, which he produced alongside Lance Bass and Tom DeSanto. He has also been involved behind the camera on many films, including Jinn, The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson, Folk Hero and Funny Guy, and Lost in America.
