Abe Carver's son will soon have a new face! Actor Cameron Johnson has joined Days of our Lives in the role of Theo Carver, last played by Kyler Pettis.

Days of our Lives fans can get ready for Theo Carver to return from South Africa, because the show has confirmed that they have recast the role. Actor Cameron Johnson will soon be making his debut as Abe Carver's son.

As DAYS fans may recall, Theo -- who was last played by actor Kyler Pettis -- was severely wounded after being accidentally shot by J.J. (Casey Moss) back in 2017. He was last seen in January of 2018, when he decided to take a spot in a clinical trial in South Africa for rehabilitation. Fans have been hoping that the character would eventually make his way back to Salem, and it looks like that day is right around the corner. But the question remains: Will Theo reignite his interest in Claire (Isabel Durant) once he gets back to town?

Though DAYS is Johnson's first soap opera role, the Louisiana native has several other television credits that include 9-1-1, Light as A Feather, and The Mick. The actor most recently starred in the independent feature film Star Light opposite Scout Taylor Compton. He has also appeared in the features Yes Day and The Wrong Crush.
