Congratulations to Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) and her husband, Dave Sanov, on the birth of the newest member of their family. The pair welcomed a daughter, Megan Hope Sanov, on Monday, January 12. The baby arrived at 11:48 p.m. and weighed 6 lbs, 7 oz. Little Megan joins big brother, Ben, who turns four on February 25.
James Reynolds to lead vet program
Daytime Emmy nominee James Reynolds (Abe Carver) will lead the Department of Veteran Affairs' 2009 National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans. The annual patient recognition program invites the public to visit and honor hospitalized veterans during National Salute Week, February 8 to 14.
Reynolds currently serves as the national spokesperson for more than 131,000 volunteers serving veterans at VA facilities across the nation.
