Brief Character History
Robin came to Salem in 1985, and at first she didn't hit things off with her colleague Mike Horton. Eventually the two began dating, but the fact that Mike wasn't Jewish was a problem for Robin's family. Robin began dating Mitch Kaufman on the side, but still saw Mike. Robin and Mitch eventually married, but she soon had the marriage annulled thought she could be pregnant with Mike's child, but the test came back negative.. Robin and Mike resumed their relationship, and when he agreed to convert to Judiasm they became engaged. However, Robin was shot by an intruder when she was making a copy of a computer disk that was brought in on a patient. Robin lived, but caught Mike praying for her to recover. She quickly broke things off with Mike and left Salem. Robin later returned to Salem for a few days to introduce Mike to his son Jeremy. Robin hoped that Mike and her could resume their relationship, but Mike was now in love with April Ramirez. Robin moved to Israel, and a year later Mike followed her to visit his son, but remained there for a few years before returning to Salem.
