NATAS has released clips from this year's Outstanding Lead Actress reels, featuring stunning performances from General Hospital's Finola Hughes (Anna and Alex Devane) and Maura West (Ava Jerome); The Bold and the Beautiful's Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) and Heather Tom (Katie Logan); and Days of our Lives' Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker).

Nobody brings more wow-worth drama to television than soap opera actresses, which is certainly proven by the list of powerhouse performers who've been named this year's Daytime Emmy nominees in the Outstanding Lead Actress category. Their wow-worthy performances from 2019 are seared into viewers' brains forever, but for those fans who'd love to relive some of the magic, we've got good news! The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences just released highlights from the submission reels of this year's Lead Actress contenders.

As can be seen in the video (below), the snippets are just samples of each actress' full reel -- but just because they're short clips doesn't mean they're not incredibly riveting!

Check out the video below to see Katherine Kelly Lang as The Bold and the Beautiful's Brooke Logan, who's accosting Taylor (Hunter Tylo) for kissing her husband; Arianne Zucker as Days of our Lives' Nicole Walker, who's just been told her daughter is dead; Heather Tom as B&B's Katie Logan, who's blasting Flo (Katrina Bowden) for thinking her father would forgive her despicable actions; Maura West as General Hospital's Ava Jerome, who's confronting Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) for killing her daughter; and Finola Hughes as GH's twin sisters Anna Devane and Alex Devane, who are discussing Duke's (Ian Buchanan) death.

As Soap Central previously reported, NATAS has also released highlights from the reels submitted for the following categories: Outstanding Drama Series (all four soaps), Outstanding Supporting Actress , Outstanding Lead Actor, Outstanding Young Performer, Outstanding Supporting Actor, and Outstanding Guest Performer.

The Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony will be returning to television via a broadcast on CBS on Friday, June 26, at 8PM ET/PT. For a list of nominations in the major daytime drama categories, click here. For a complete list of all nominations, click here.
