Vanessa Marcil address return rumors

You've probably seen the tabloid and internet reports that Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda Barrett) is ready to return to General Hospital. The reports are correct... to a point.
In a recent interview, the actress who starred on General Hospital from 1992 to 1998 refuted the reports that she'll be back in Port Charles in a matter of weeks.
"I can't believe that people [still] think about me," said an obviously flattered Marcil, who said that General Hospital wasn't "just a job --- but a great job."
According to Marcil, the decision to hold off on a return to General Hospital is a personal decision and has nothing to do with anyone or anything behind the scenes. The actress admits that having time to relax after eight busy years has been a reward in itself.
The much talked about return remains a possibility, one that Marcil does not rule out. "I am not coming back right now," the actress reiterates.
