Jason Connery, the son of screen legend Sean Connery, is headed to Port Charles.
Connery will play the role of Sebastian, an art dealer who shares a bond -- not necessarily a James bond -- with Roger Howarth's Franco.
This will mark the first soap opera appearance for Connery, who, like his famous dad, has appeared in dozens of movies. Jason Connery has also done television work, appearing in primetime stops on Smallville, George Lopez, and Doctor Who.
A General Hospital spokesperson confirms that Connery will first air on October 2. Soaps In Depth, which first reported Connery's stint on GH, adds that the actor will return for a second appearance during the first week of November.
