Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix Dubois, General Hospital) stars as Danny in the film Hot Guys With Guns. It's a modern take on the classic detective story, described as "Lethal Weapon with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover as younger, hotter ex-boyfriends."
Felix did a little detective work on General Hospital recently when he and Elizabeth Webber teamed up to determine Ben's paternity. Samuel's character, Danny, in Hot Guys With Guns is an actor taking a night class for aspiring private detectives to help him win a part in a TV show. Things take a comedic and dangerous turn when he bumbles into a real-life crime investigation with his ex-boyfriend.
The two set out to solve a string of gay sex-party robberies in what the Pittsburgh Post Gazette calls, "a hilarious gay send-up of the old-fashioned detective story with a bit of the modern buddy film thrown in."
In addition to Samuel, the film stars newcomer Brian McArdle as Danny's ex-boyfriend, Pip, along with Alan Blumenfeld (The Ring and WarGames) and Jay Huguley (12 Years a Slave). Doug Spearman is both writer and director.
