Hot on the heels of the news that General Hospital alum Robert Palmer Watkins (ex-Dillon Quartermaine) has landed the starring role of Eddie Escovedo in a new pilot called Green Valley comes news that the actor is working on new music.
Watkins took to social media to alert fans that he's been busy in the studio, creating new tracks that he can't wait to release.
"Got some new music I'm working on! Super stoked about these tracks," he shares. "Big opportunity's in Nashville on the horizon. Can't wait to share with u all!"

The actor also posted a photo of himself in the music studio along with a tease that his tracks will be originals.
While he's not widely known as a musician, Watkins does have a background in music. Not only did he study musical theater at Christopher Newport University and graduate from the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood, but his official website also states that he regularly has jam sessions with his buddies. The actor also has released several music video, which you can view here.
Watkins joined GH in 2015 and played the role of Dillon Quartermaine until 2017. He's been keeping busy this past year with shows like the CW's Cupid's Match and films like 5 Weddings and Last Three Days.
