Liz sits alone in the front pew of the church, mourning Lucky's death. She talks to him, asking if he can give her a sign to tell her that he is really dead because she can't feel the anguish that she should feel if he is really dead. Nikolas walks up behind Liz and mentions that Audrey has been worried about the young woman's whereabouts. Liz admits that when she heard Nikolas' approaching footsteps, she thought for a moment that it might be Lucky entering. Nikolas assures her that it wasn't foolish of her to think so and then he praises her for her kind words at the funeral.

On the docks, Sonny walks up to Hannah, who is sitting on a bench. She tells him that she is not going to steer clear of him, nor will she ever follow his orders. Sonny tries to warn her against the dangers of the docks, cautioning her that people get shot on the docks. Hannah implies that the only danger targeted at the docks is towards Sonny and asks if she should be afraid. Sonny replies that dangers come from all sources and contends that it is foolish to take unnecessary risks, especially if you already know that something is dangerous. Sonny then confides in his friend how sorry he is for having involved his best friend in such risky activity. Hannah asks if he is a criminal and if his coffee business is less than legitimate. Sonny assures her that he is neither a criminal nor is his coffee enterprise illegal, but he does note that his life involves certain dangers that resulted in Lily's death and Stone's contraction of AIDS.

Tammy and Luke kiss passionately at his club as Laura watches in horror from the doorway. As things grow heavy, Laura walks away in shock and disbelief. Before things go too far, Luke and Tammy stop. Luke compliments Tammy, telling her that she is a very attractive woman. He resists Tammy's attempts to take care of him, to make sure that he is well fed and that he has a place to sleep. He insists that he is okay and that he can take care of himself, but Tammy warns him that sometimes life surprises you when you don't expect it. Luke agrees and the two say goodnight. Just as Tammy leaves the club, Felicia walks enters. She apologizes for having missed the funeral and inquires as to his state. Luke commends his sister for coming through for him when he most needs it and as Felicia turns to go, Luke begs her to stay.

Carly hears a loud knock at the side entrance of the Quartermaine mansion. She goes to the door and lets Jason inside and then recounts the difficulties she witnessed at Bobbie's. She tells Jason how brave Lucas was when he heard the news of Lucky's death, how he didn't cry but instead offered to say a prayer for the unfortunate young man. Carly then thinks of her own childhood and realizes that it wasn't as bad as she might make it out to be. She rests on top of Jason on the sofa and asks him to remind her if she ever forgets that. Jason asks about Lucky's funeral and Carly says that it was terrible; she felt very uncomfortable there. Jason asks if Luke mentioned him at the funeral, but Carly assures him that it would be crazy for Luke to blame Jason for Lucky's death. She also tells him that he should look forward, not back, although she adds that she could never go on if Michael were to die. Jason confesses that he could not either. He then tries to say goodnight, but Carly persistently badgers him before he is able to finally depart.

At the Spencer home, Laura walks into an empty house. She gazes at a family picture as emotions run deep and tears run down her face. She slowly climbs the staircase and enters Lucky's old room. She closes the door behind her and sits down on her son's bed. She pulls his pillows close to her, trying to smell whatever scent might remain, and cries softly. She proceeds to touch other items that once belonged to Lucky, including a coat that she pulls over her shoulders as she cries uncontrollably, longing for her baby. On the mirror, Laura notices a picture of mother and son that triggers something inside her. She loses control and smashes the mirror while screaming, "I hate you" to all who might hear. She destroys her son's room, flinging belongings in every direction and ripping things from the walls.

At Luke's, Felicia tries to comfort her friend. Luke expresses his doubts and regrets for having trusted Sonny and Jason and for having taught his son to trust them as well. He tells Felicia that Lesley Lu believes that her brother will someday return and asks if she will even remember the brother that she once had. Felicia urges Luke to preserve his son's memory and never allow Lulu to forget either. Luke tells the story of his son's life in a storybook fashion, recounting how Lucky tried to hate but that he loved too much, and eventually forgave. When he finally had his life in order, it vanished in a puff of smoke.

On the docks, Hannah expresses her sorrow for Sonny's loss. She asks if he was happy in his marriage to Lily, but he instead replies that she was happy. Hannah probes him for answers, questioning him about the bomb that was meant for him, but he insists that if he had wanted to say more, he would have done so. He, rather dogmatically, says that he shouldn't have broken Brenda's heart, nor should Lucky have had to die. He then tells Hannah that the entertainment portion of the evening is now at its close. Hannah inquires as to whether or not she has been insensitive but Sonny declares that she has not been and the two bid each other goodnight.

At the Spencer home, Stefan walks into Lucky's room and finds Laura sobbing on the floor, apologizing for having broken her son's things. Stefan assures her that he can fix the broken items and holds Laura tightly. She tells Stefan that everything is gone, completely washed away forever. He tells her that she will always have those who love her, including Nikolas, Lulu, her mother, and himself. He then takes her away, and when Laura asks to where, he says to home.

At the church, Liz calls Audrey to let her know that she is safe. After she hangs up the phone, she confides to Nikolas that she was having a dream that felt like she would never awaken when she heard the sirens. She had called her love to tell him about the dream, but when she heard the puzzling recording on the other end of the line, she decided to tell him in person. Liz admits that she is afraid to go to sleep, for fear that she'll dream only of the sirens, but Nikolas encourages her to dream of the pleasant memories that she shared with Lucky.

Somewhere in a dark room, Lucky drinks a bottle of water and then throws it forcefully against the door.

Today's recap was provided by Jeri Villaflor.

Edward is reading an article in the Herald when AJ comes down to breakfast. Edward berates AJ for not being at work hours ago. Then they discuss the article in the newspaper. Edward can't believe they would print a story using an unnamed person as their only source, but admits the story couldn't be better timed if they had planted it. AJ says the article proves that Jason is a danger to Michael. And then proudly boasts that he did plant it and he is the unnamed source quoted. AJ tells Edward that there is no way that Judge Carter won't be swayed after seeing this. Edward advises AJ that he should never underestimate Jason. AJ informs Edward that he wants three things: Jason out of his life, sole custody of Michael, and control of ELQ. Edward assures him that all these things will happen in time. Little do Edward and AJ know, but Carly was listening through the door throughout the entire conversation. Of course, she leaves the house in search of Jason.

Sonny goes to Kelly's for breakfast. Tammy wants to know why he wasn't at the memorial service for Lucky. Before he answers, she gave him so well meaning advise. She told him that Luke really needs friends right now. Sonny assures her that he is one friend that Luke doesn't need right now. Tammy tells Sonny that a lifetime friend is always needed and then leaves Sonny to brood in silence.

Mac and Felicia are sitting at a nearby table. Mac is appalled by the article on the front page of the newspaper. He says that the arson report isn't even finished yet. Felicia and Mac discuss Luke and Laura's loss and how terrible it must be for them. Mac of course wants to blame Sonny, but Felicia defends him. Mac describes to Felicia the night of the fire and the way Luke acted. He then reaffirms his commitment to Felicia and the girls. Felicia assures him that he couldn't get away from her even if he wanted to because she would follow him to the ends of the earth. She then laves to go and see Lila.

Luke shows up at Laura's house to see Lulu but the only person he finds is Bobbie. She takes him upstairs to see what Laura had done to Lucky's room. Luke is shocked but then admits she had only beaten him to the job. Bobbie is concerned about Laura and wonders if they should look for her. Luke assures her that he knows exactly where Laura is...at Wyndemere. Luke and Bobbie set about straightening Lucky's room. Luke encourages Luke not to throw out Lucky's things because he would regret it. She told him that she was so glad that she had some of BJ's as well as Ruby's things. Bobbie is sure that Laura will definitely want to keep Lucky's things. She then leaves to help out at Kelly's.

Laura is indeed at Wyndemere. She thanks Stefan for coming to the house yesterday. She tells him she probably would have destroyed the whole house if he hadn't of come. Stefan tells her that he would have checked on her no matter what Laura tells him she doesn't think she will ever be okay again. She rambles about how she left her son in his grave and all she could think about was how cold the ground was. Then starts rambling about how he left her. Then she starts in on the if only's....if only he was at home instead of in that room, if only she hadn't driven him away, if only.....Laura tells Stefan that she has to go home and straighten Lucky's room before Laura and LuLu get back from Amy's. She calls the house and Luke answers. She tells him about Lucky's room and asks him to leave a note so that her mother will be sure not to let LuLu go in there. She then leaves Wyndemere and heads home.

Felicia and Lila briefly discuss Lucky's death and its affect on Emily. Lila says that Emily is devastated but that she grieves privately. Felicia then talks to Lila about the first time she met Edward. She says that Edward was the love of her life, but when they first met she was engaged to a man named Elliot Thompson. Felicia asked what happened to him and Lila informed her that Elliot was killed in the war. She also explained that it was an arranged marriage. Lila also tells Felicia about some letters that she exchanged with Edward and her cousin, Eleanor.

Hannah meets up with Jason on the docks while she is looking for Sonny. She asks Jason how Sonny is doing and wants to know why he feels responsible for the terrible things that happen around him. Jason, in his usual Neanderthal way tries to explain. Hannah tells Jason that she only wants to help Sonny. Carly, of course, just happens to be around the corner eavesdropping on the conversation and Sonny catches her. Sonny demands that Carly apologize for what happened at Luke's club. Carly grudgingly offers an apology and Hannah accepts it in the spirit it was given. Carly then demands to talk to Jason. As they walk away, Hannah offers her thanks to Sonny for making Carly apologize. Carly tells Jason that AJ planted the article in the paper. Jason says it doesn't matter. Carly believes it does and says she is going to find proof. Jason warns her to be careful because AJ is getting desperate. After Carly and Hannah leave, Sonny asks Jason what he and Hannah were talking about. Jason told him and Sonny told Jason to tell Hannah to stay away from him.

When Laura arrives home, Luke is still there. He tells her Mac is on the way with the finished arson report. Laura asks Luke to stay and hear about the report with her. While they wait for Mac, Luke and Laura discussed why they came to Port Charles and the reasons why Lucky left home. While Laura blames herself, Luke tries to make her see that it wasn't her fault. Mac shows up and tells them that the fire was an accident caused by candles Lucky left lighted when he went to sleep. Luke has a hard time believing this. Mac assures him that there were no lose ends and no mistakes. The fire was definitely an accident.

Jerry shows up at Kelly's and tries to comfort Bobbie. She spends some time telling him about Lucky and how much she loved him.

Felicia is gathering her things getting ready to leave the Quartermaine's when Edward comes in. He tells her about the first time he ever saw Lila and how she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. The phone begins ringing and Felicia makes her escape as AJ and Carly enter. The phone call is from the mayor's office giving the news that the fire at the garage was an accident and the case was officially closed. Edward is upset because he says they no longer have the upper hand in the custody trial.

Someone is watching Lucky on a security camera as he tries to hack his way onto the Internet using a computer in his cell. Then a hand turns off the camera monitor.

Today's recap was provided by LittlLeLe.

Katherine arrives at Jax's penthouse to find that he has a business offer for her. Jax divulges to Katherine that he knows of Deceptions great strides as a recently and their new promotional campaign set to begin next month. Katherine, worried Jax is making threats to raid Deception, assures him that she will not make it easy for him. Being clear that Deception is of no interest to him, Jax offers to free up some of her valuable time by taking her ELQ stock off of her hands, at considerable profit of course. Knowing that Jax has recently attempted to acquire some of the Cassadine fortune, Katherine promises not only to give the offer thought but to find out what Jax is really up to.

Up to nothing at Deception, Nikolas procrastinates trying not to think about Lucky when Emily comes for a moral support visit. They both discuss how they can think of nothing else except Lucky and how much Liz must be feeling even worse. Emily tells Nikolas that today was Liz's first day back to school and how hard she tried to show Emily that everything was normal by talking about biology and schoolwork. Emily tries to explain to Nikolas that sometimes avoidance is the best way to help things back to normal. She assures him that things will get better, that they will never be the same without Lucky but they would get back to a normal life. She encourages Nikolas to try to work and get his mind off Lucky. They agree that together they can support Liz and help her through this. Alone, Luke sits in his club. The phone rings only to be the evil voice of Faison, offering yet again to purchase the great diamond. Luke explains that he is not doing business with anyone at this time and abruptly hangs up. Sonny comes in to offer Luke the papers that will dissolve their partnership together. Luke informs Sonny that he and Jason are off the hook, the investigation is closed and the fire was concluded an accident. Sonny proceed to still offer Luke a way out of their partnership. Luke opens the documents to find that Sonny is giving Luke his half of the Club. Luke tells Sonny that such an offer only makes Sonny look guilty and proceeds to tear up the papers. Since he and Laura are over and Lucky is dead, the business is important to him. Luke's is reopening. Luke leaves Sonny to the bar as he goes to tell Bobbie the news.

Meanwhile at Kelly's, Bobbie is covering the shifts when Liz comes in to work. Although Bobbie encourages her to go home and rest, Liz wants to keep busy and being at work is the best place for that, not at home refolding all of her clothes. Mac comes in with the news that Lucky's death was an accident and not arson. Liz is stunned to hear the source of the fire was candles at Lucky's bedside. She is frozen. Bobbie tries to reassure her that it must be better that she now knows it was only an accident. Liz, obviously overwhelmed, asks for the rest of the day off and runs out of Kelly's. Outside, Liz daydreams of her last conversation with Lucky, telling him to light another candle for her. Back at Jax's, Jerry barges in very much out of sorts as Jax is about to leave. Flustered at his brothers interruption as he was leaving to go sailing, Jax gives his brother a brief moment to explain his anxiousness as Jax answers the door. Surprise ---- John and Lady Jane. Jerry exclaims that he just couldn't handle it. Jax's parents had come to try to patch things up and to return the last check that Jax had sent to them to get on their feet. Jerry and Jax are surprised to hear that each had been sending money to their parents without the others knowledge. Slightly perturbed that his father has once again taken control of the family situation without input, Jax explains that he had wanted to be the one to come to them.

On the docks, Mac runs into Taggert claiming that Sonny and Jason are back in business. Taggert saw the crates (of coffee) being delivered and wanted to get a search warrant. Mac tells Taggert that the arson report clears Sonny and Jason and that the case of the fire is closed. Obviously not believing the report, Taggert continues on his tirade. Mac threatens Taggert that if he persists to act without cause he will suspend him. At Luke's, Hannah tries to comfort Sonny about the fire. Liz comes in to do the same. After telling Sonny the story about the candles and trying to relieve his feelings of guilt, Sonny sees how much Liz has begun to blame herself. He asks if she believes in heaven? Yes. Do you believe Lucky is in heaven? Yes. He then ask her if Lucky is blaming her for the candles? for asking him to light another one? Of course not - she replies, Lucky's not like that. Sonny tells Liz that just like Lucky wouldn't be blaming her he wouldn't want her to be blaming herself. Liz is not comfortable with this reprisal and wants to go home. Sonny has Johnny take Liz home and reminds her that if she needs anything to come to him. In the limo on the way home, Liz apologizes to Lucky and begins to cry. As Bobbie is closing up Kelly's, Luke comes intending to give her the news of the arson report. Bobbie tries to comfort Luke - because the fire was an accident he wasn't to blame for allowing Sonny and Jason to have a part in their lives. Luke says that just because a report says it's an accident doesn't mean anything. After the fire, e was looking for anyone to blame, everyone to blame. Now that there is no one specific he is left with this knot of pain in his stomach. Bobbie empathizes that once it's all over he won't remember all of this. Luke will remember the first time he held his son's hand and how he grew up to be a wonderful man. The rest would all fall by the wayside.

Remembering his recent brush with death, Jax tells his parents that while he was stranded in the Sahara, it was his belief that his family would come through for him that helped him through the ordeal. He relied on the knowledge that Jerry would indeed find and rescue him. After Brenda's death, he realized that the love you had for people was what was important and that the crash reminded him of that. He was not going to let what happen between them stand in the way of their family.

As Nikolas and Diana discuss the Deception tour plans, Diana again asks if Nikolas will be escorting her? Katherine interrupts just in time to hear this and reminds Diana that Nikolas has work to do at Deception and will be as helpful as possible. Diana is asked to leave as Katherine and Nikolas have business to discuss. Katherine patronizingly tells Nikolas that his denial about Lucky is unhealthy and that he should not be trying to work but grieve instead. She invites him to her suite, which he respectfully declines saying that a friend recommended that work would help him deal with his loss.

Luke is left alone again in the dark to deal with his loss when a vision of Lucky appears to him. Luke questions if it's really him. "What do you think?" Lucky replies. Luke proceeds to tell Lucky how much he misses him -- how the best part of him died with him. Lucky asks his father if h remembers what he had said after aunt Ruby had died? "Stay stuck or move forward and stake out new ground," -- "I can't" Luke says. "You can, your the strongest man I ever met." Luke looks down in grief only to look back up to find Lucky gone.

AT THE QUARTERMAINE MANSION
Felicia is waiting for Lila inside of the family room so that they can discuss more of Lila's memoirs. Lila wheels herself in and the two women chat. Felicia wonders about the love letters and asks Lila if she still has them. Lila says she's afraid not and then explains to Felicia that she gave them to her cousin for safe keeping. Felicia asks Lila if the her cousins still knows where they are at. Lila tells her she's afraid they are lost forever since it was such along time ago and her cousin has died. Felicia then asks Lila if her cousin had any children and if they may have them now. Lila tells her she is not sure and then gives Felicia information on how she might be able to locate them. Felicia decided to do just that and tells Lila that she will be in touch with her if she turns up anything and then leaves.

Meanwhile just out in the doorway area, Carly is on the phone trying to reach Jason. She hears AJ coming in and tells Benny to tell him she called and hangs up quickly. She then runs and grabs her notebook and pretends that she is writing something down inside of it. AJ comes in the door and asks Carly if she would like to play hooky from class tonight. Carly makes an excuse to avoid another dinner date with AJ and tells him that she has a very important class today that will be talking about dimensional designing and she needs to be there. AJ understands and says he'll take a rain check. Carly then tells him that she has played with Michael all day and now he is asleep. AJ tells her that he'll check up on Michael after he drops her off at class. Nervous, Carly tells him he doesn't have to do that, because she has already called a cab and besides he just got home from a hard day at work. AJ falls for it and tells her he'll see her when he gets back. Carly leaves. Outside, she is pleased that she was able to fool AJ again. Shortly afterwards, Edward comes home, telling AJ that all his calls to the judge have worked against them, because they have now moved up the court date, and the judge that they were suppose to have reside over this matter is unable to fit their court date in his schedule. AJ is pleased, because that is what he has wanted. Edward warns AJ that they have just one short week to prove that he is the best father for Michael and that he and Carly are the perfect parents. AJ tells Edward that he and Carly are going to show a united front, but Edward tells him that the police report already proved that Lucky's death was an accident and had nothing to do with Jason. He also reminds AJ that Jason and Sonny are operating a legitimate business, plus that social worker has seen that Jason seems to be the only one who can bring a smile to Michael's face. AJ is worried. Edward then tells him not to forget that aside from Emily and Bobbie who are willing to testify to Jason's well being that by the time they go to court, Monica may turn against him as well. AJ tells Edward that there is still the warehouse fire and he also has Tony Jones's testimony on Jason's condition among other things, plus he is the biological father, so Edward should not worry about the custody hearing. Edward tells AJ he hopes so and then leaves to go upstairs. AJ makes a few phone calls. Later on we find Edward back downstairs reading the paper. AJ comes in and Edward asks if he has found Carly. AJ says that she is at her design class. Edward says that the main thing is to get that young lady's cooperation. AJ tells Edward not to underestimate him. Edward goes upstairs to check on Lila. Alone, AJ pulls out an engagement ring.

AT THE PORT CHARLES HOTEL GRILL
At the bar, Ned comes over and Jax tells him not to remind him to keep Alexis safe. Ned says that he trusts Alexis to speak for herself and then asks Jax if he is still going to pursue the Cassadine holdings without Alexis. Jax doesn't give him a straight answer and Ned tells him that if he chooses not to pursue it, he has a business proposition for him. Ned leaves and goes to his table. Shortly afterwards, Jerry comes over and tells Jax that he needs his help. He then explains that their mother has asked Bobbie to join them this evening for dinner. An amused Jax asks Jerry what is the problem. Jerry admits that he hopes their parents find Bobbie to be as wonderful as he thinks she is. Jerry tells Jax he is worrying for nothing. Jane and John Jacks show up and the foursome go to their table.

Meanwhile just out near the entrance way, Bobbie runs into Felicia in the lobby and admits to Felicia that she is nervous about meeting the parents. Felicia tells her that she is the best thing to ever happen to Jerry, and that Jane and John Jacks should be nervous about meeting her. Felicia's compliment makes Bobbie feel better as she takes a deep breath and heads inside. Felicia goes inside to, but she is there to talk to Ned.

While they are waiting on Bobbie, John and Jane are talking to Jerry about Bobbie, and comparing her to his former lovers. Jane says that Jerry appears smitten, as a blushing Jerry hates the teasing. Jax enjoys watching his brother squirm as Jerry nervously prepares to introduce their parents to Bobbie. As if on cue, Bobbie comes over to the table. She greets Jerry with a kiss, then Jerry introduced Bobbie to his parents. Jane says that she is eager to get to know the woman who stole her son's heart, while Jerry starts blushing again. Bobbie is telling John and Jane about how she met Jerry, while Jerry continues to be nervous, as an amused Jax enjoys all of this. During dinner, Bobbie handled herself adeptly under the scrutiny of John and Jane. As the evening goes on, Bobbie won over the elder Jacks with flying colors. Jax and Jerry then made comments about their parents calling it a night after the long flight. John and Jane agreed and told Bobbie how thrilled they were to meet her and then excused themselves from dinner and left. Jerry kissed Bobbie who was happy the evening went well. She then excused herself to go call to check on Lucas. Alone, Jax teased Jerry about his nervousness and Jerry jokingly told Jax that one-day he will be in the same position, having his parents grill the prospective girlfriend.

Across the ways at another table sit V and Ned. V nags Ned to work on expanding his fan base by going on the road. Ned tells V that he can not do a road tour. Felicia comes over, apologizing for interrupting. She asks Ned about his offer to finance some research. She says that she is trying to find Lila's old love letters, and has to find Chloe. She is in London. She says that Chloe has been avoiding her phone calls. Ned says that it's simple, just go to London and track this lady down. Ned tells her he'll be glad to finance the trip. Felicia thanks Ned for his help; it may be a good chance she can get these letters for the book. She also says that Ned can read through the manuscript before it is written. V hopes she can read it too. Ned says that this is a side to her that he hasn't seen. Felicia tells them she has to go and get ready for her trip. As she is leaving, she runs into Mac. She rushes through her explanation of why she is going to London. He is amazed that he is the last to know about her plans. She looks at her watch a few times while trying to explain why she is going, and whom she is going to see. He accepts her rushed explanation, and kisses her good bye. She does remember to tell him that its Chloe Morgan that she is going to see and then leaves. While a startled Mac stands there speechless.

LEAVING ON A JET PLANE TO LONDON
Hoping to get her hands on Lila's old love letters, Felicia decides to go to London to track down the cousin who has the notes in her possession. While on the plane, Felicia is trying to find out more about Chloe Morgan and reads a fashion magazine that has an article about her in it.

AT LUKE'S PLACE
Jason is at Luke's, all dirty. Hannah sees him and pours him a beer. He tells her about working at the warehouse. She asks about all his careers, busboy, coffee merchant etc. Jason tells her it's better to own a business than work for one. They then jump on the subject of Lucky and he tells her about the Arson report and its findings. She is glad to hear that they don't think it had anything to do with him and Sonny. He says that it's still hard to believe. Hannah talks some more to Jason and Sonny. Sonny gets ready to come out, but hears Hannah quizzing Jason about him and decides to eavesdrop. Jason doesn't reveal much about Sonny, but what he does reveal, has her intrigued. They jump on the subject of Taggert and Hannah asks Jason what is it with him and Sonny. Jason tells her that Taggert has had a vendetta against Sonny ever since he came to Port Charles. She asks him about what, but Jason doesn't divulge that information and tells her that she'll have to talk to Sonny. She then tells Jason about her run in with Taggert when he came to bother Sonny. Still listening, Sonny decides to make his presence known and comes out to the bar and tells Jason that thanks to Hannah. Taggert didn't stick around long like he usually does. Jason asks what happened and Sonny tells him about Hannah spilling a whole tray of drinks on him. They all laugh. Hannah leaves to go get something out of the kitchen. After she leaves, Jason admits that Hannah is asking all kinds of questions about Sonny, and she showed her concern for Taggert pushing Sonny. He then tells Sonny that Hannah is very interested in him. Jason then gives Sonny the paperwork for the day's work and tells Sonny he has to go and will catch up to him later. Taggert decides to come into Luke's, to bother Sonny again and sits at Sonny's table. Sonny tries to ignore him. Taggert tells Sonny that he doesn't care what the fire report showed and still blames Sonny for Lucky's death, and tells him it's all because Jason owns the business. Sonny says that he is going to call Mac to report Taggert. As they continue to go rounds, Hannah has watched all this. Sonny waves Taggert away, and he leaves. Hannah follows Taggert outside and asks him how does he spell his name, because she wants to be accurate when she files a harassment report. Taggert tells her to reconsider threatening an officer. She says that she has other witnesses to prove that he is persecuting Sonny, even though the fire was considered an accident. They will all go down to police station and after they are through giving their statements, they will make sure he loses his job. Taggert tells her that Sonny is a racketeer and he is sick and tired of going to the morgue and putting names in his file. He then tells her if she is smart, she'll avoid him. If she's not, he will consider her one of Sonny's accomplices, and she will be looking for lots more trouble than she can handle. Sonny has followed them outside by now and hears Hannah make her threats to Taggert. Once Taggert has left, Sonny tells Hannah that Taggert's vendetta is with him, not her. It has nothing to do with her and he doesn't want her to interfere, or get involved. He then tells her that by antagonizing Taggert will only get her in trouble and asks her what is she thinking of? Hannah apologizes and tells Sonny that Taggert just got her upset. Sonny was impressed when Hannah defended him to Taggert and showed his appreciation by giving her a kiss.

AT JASON'S PENTHOUSE
Carly slipped into Jason's bedroom and wanted to make love with him. Seeing that Jason is in the shower, Carly stages a seduction scene designed to snare Jason. She then unbuttons her shirt a bit and strikes a seductive pose on the bed. Jason comes out of the shower surprised to see her sitting there. Carly says, "Surprised?" She then tells Jason that she can't stop thinking about him. He asks her what is she doing here. She tells him it's okay that AJ thinks she's at school and then seductively walks over to him and tells him that she knows he wants her too. Jason looks like he is going to burst her bubble and tell her to take a walk.

AT AUDREY'S HOUSE
Bobbie dropped by Audrey's to check up on Liz. While Liz still felt she was at fault, Bobbie encourages an unhappy Liz to believe that in time she will begin to feel that the end of her grieving is in sight. Bobbie then leaves and tells Liz to call her if she needs her for anything. Shortly afterwards, Nikolas shows up. As they talk about Lucky and the fact that they can't believe he is gone, Liz tearfully informs Nikolas that she was responsible for Lucky's death. Nikolas wonders why she is blaming herself. Liz shows Nikolas a candle, and tells him about the candles in Lucky's room. She then says that the fire was because of the candles. She put them in the room; he lit them because of her. Liz then broke down in front of Nikolas as she continued to blame herself for Lucky's death. Nikolas holds her close and tells her that it wasn't her fault. She tells him about asking Lucky to light the candles late at night. If she hadn't told him, he wouldn't have died. Nikolas says that its part Lucky's fault, he was the one who fell asleep. She says no, it was an accident and he says exactly. An understanding Nikolas was able to get Liz to realize that Lucky's death was no one's fault. Later, Liz receives a package. Nikolas helps her open it up. It turns out to be her painting of Lucky she sent to the art school.

IN CESAR'S DOOM
Faison is watching Lucky on multiple monitors. He zooms in close to Lucky's face. Faison is in Lucky's room. Lucky asks why he is being kept a prisoner. Faison apologize for not being a good host. Faison introduces himself to Lucky who is shocked to come face-to-face with the notorious Cesar Faison

Friday, April 30, 1999

Alan finds AJ the Q living room. He notices that AJ has decorated the room with candles and asks what is up. AJ says that he is planning a little surprise for Carly.

In Jason's bedroom, Carly continues to entice Jason. She says that if he tells her to go, she will.

Outside Luke's, Hannah pulls away from Sonny's kiss and looks into his eyes breathlessly. She says that he was right, he is dangerous. Sonny says that he warned her. Hannah puts her arms around Sonny's neck and pulls him in for another passionate kiss.

Tammy arrives at Luke's to discuss the "other night." Luke asks if she is there to lodge a complaint. Tammy laughs and says no. She just hasn't seen him since then and she wanted to make it clear that that it what is was. Just one night. Noone knows better than her what it's like to have things ignite in the moment. The other night was a moment. She doesn't subscribe to that whole idea that you are responsible for acting on your impulses. What she is trying to say is that one night is OK with her. Tammy looks surprised when Luke asks what makes her think that all he wants is one night.

At the PC Grille, Stefan and Laura preparing to order dinner. Stefan hopes that a change of scenery will be good for Laura since she hasn't left her house since returning after trashing Lucky's room. Jax stops by the table to offer Laura his condolences. He tells Stefan that he is also officially withdrawing as a contender for the Cassadine spoils. The stakes are a little too high. He explains that Helena tried to kill him and make it look like an accident. He doesn't mind taking chances, but the Cassadine fortune isn't worth his life. Once Jax leaves, Laura turns to Stefan and says that Helena is the one who killed Lucky.

At the Hardy house, Liz continues to stare at Lucky's portrait. Nikolas is amazed at how good the portrait is. He thought Lucky didn't want anyone to see it because he was afraid that it didn't look like him and he didn't want anyone to tell Liz. It looks exactly like Lucky. He tells Liz that Lucky is right. She has a gift. Liz takes the portrait from Nikolas and tearfully says that Lucky always told her she'd be a famous painter someday. He even had her believing it. Liz says that she doesn't know if she will ever be able to paint again. Nikolas sits next to her on the couch and offers her a comforting pat on the back as she continues to stare at Lucky's portrait with unshed tears in her eyes.

In his cell, Lucky is surprised to hear his captor introduce himself as Cesar Faison. Faison says that he is flattered that Lucky has heard of him. Lucky tells Faison that he heard he was dead. Faison says that death can sometimes prove to be an illusion. His was. And so was Lucky's. Lucky looks understandably shocked when Faison mentions his death since this is the first he's heard of it.

Felicia arrives in London looking for Chloe Morgan. The person who answers the door to Chole's suite rudely slams the door in Felicia's face when she learns that Felicia has nothing to do with the show.

Alan invites Carly and AJ to a play, but AJ declines. He explains that Carly has been so supportive that he was planning on doing something nice for her. He says that he learned that from Alan. Alan always went out of his way to do something nice for Monica. AJ asks Alan if, despite everything he and Monica have been through, he is glad that he married Monica. Alan says that he wouldn't change a thing, but the difference is that he loves Monica.

Jason tells Carly that the answer still is, and always will be no. Carly is angry and thinks it is because of Robin. Jason says that this has nothing to do with Robin and he has nothing against sex. There are a lot of women he would sleep with, just not her. Carly is insulted by Jason's comment. Jason asks if she ever hated him more than when they were sleeping together because that was the only time he couldn't stand her. Things were different than. There was no Michael and he and Carly weren't friends. Now, they are part of each other's lives. He isn't going to lose that. Carly asks why he kissed her. Jason says that she kissed him. He didn't push her away because he didn't want to hurt her. Jason apologizes for doing anything that may have made Carly think he wanted to sleep with her, but says that it is never going to happen.

Felicia follows several models into Chloe Morgan's suite. The receptionist threatens to call security when she sees Felicia, but Felicia begs her to just listen to what she has to say. Felicia assures the woman that she is not dangerous. She doesn't want to interview Chloe, she just wants to talk to her about a distant relative. As Felicia continues to explain, a delivery person arrives with flowers. The receptionist sets the flowes on the desk and than turns to call security. As she turns, she upsets the vase which Felicia catches and prevents from spilling onto Chloe's designs. The receptionist is very grateful that Felicia helped to avert a disaster and agrees to let her wait and try to speak with Chloe.

Laura insists to Stefan that Helena is behind Lucky's death. Stefan assures Laura that Jax's difficulties with Helena have nothing to do with Lucky's death. Laura is convinced that Helena killed Lucky for revenge. Stefan points out that the arson report was definitive. The fire was an accident. Besides, he knows Helena better than anyone. If Helena killed Lucky, she would make sure that Laura knew somehow. Laura is still unconvinced.

Faison tells Lucky that it was unfortunate that he had to miss his own memorial service. It was quite heartbreaking, but so tastefully done. Lucky doesn't believe Faison and says that if there really was memorial service it was because his parents are playing along. Scamming until they figure out a way to find him. They don't really believe he is dead. His mom has a sense about these things. Faison agrees that such perceptions are possible, but it takes a little more than a sense to deny the realties of a body burned beyond recognition, a dental match and a DNA match. It took him a lot of work to switch all the medical records, but the results were absolutely gratifying. He points to Lucky and tells him that he is dead. As dead as Faison ever was. Lucky says that everyone will think it was arson. Faison asks Lucky if he takes him for an amateur. He tells Lucky that he started the fire when he left his candles unattended. The arson report was quite clear. The candles were to blame. He believes it was Lucky's girlfriend... At the mention of Liz, Lucky screams at Faison calling him a bastard and lunging for him. Faison physically restrains Lucky and tells him he is impulsive like his father. Lucky says that Faison doesn't know anything about Luke. Faison gleefully tells Lucky that he has been doing business with Luke for quite some time. Luke sells him diamonds and he referred Luke to an excellent tobacconist. He is sure Lucky has seen Luke smoking the special blend he recommended. Luke knows him and suspects NOTHING!

At Luke's, Luke notices Tammy watching him and asks her if she sees anything she likes. Tammy tells Luke that he doesn't miss a beat, but she happens to know the difference between a man who wants her and one who is just trying to drown. She tells Luke (who is smoking one of the special cigars) that he has been a really good friend to her, but he doesn't need to dress what happened the other night up for her. Tammy asks how he is doing really. Luke says that he gets up every morning and tries to figure out how he can best honor his son. When he can't think of anything, he just does something. That's why he decided to reopen the club. That's why he is asking people if they "want cheese fries with that." At the end of the day he gets in bed and stares at the ceiling. Sometimes he sleeps, sometimes he doesn't. Then the sun comes up and it all starts over again. He guesses he is ok. He doesn't hold much stock in this need to get on with things, but Lucky did so maybe he owes it to him to try. Someone walks up to the bar and asks if he can get a burger. With a wink at Tammy, Luke asks the person if he wants cheese fries with that and goes in back to get the order.

Outside of Luke's, Sonny and Hannah continue to make out, but Hannah pulls away saying it's too fast. She is outside of a blue's club kissing a man she hardly knows. A man who goes around warning people he is dangerous. She is nowhere near ready to feel anything for Sonny. She doesn't even know if she wants to. Everything she knows about him sends alarm bells clanging. Sonny says that she doesn't look alarmed. Hannah asks Sonny if he knows how inconsistent he is. One minute he tells her to walk away and the next minute he is kissing her. It's confusing and when she is confused, she backs off. This is her backing off. Sonny asks Hannah if she wasn't the one who followed him to the pier and listened while he poured his hear out, defended him to the cops, did everything she could so that he would notice her. Well, he noticed her. Hannah admits that she wanted him to kiss her. It's just too much too soon. She apologizes for the mixed signals and starts to walk away. Sonny takes her arm and pulls her back saying that it isn't that simple.

Sonny tells Hannah that he didn't come outside to kiss her, he came outside to tell her to lay off Taggert. He doesn't want her involved. Hannah says that cops don't intimidate her. Sonny says that he noticed. From what he has observed, she doesn't run from anything. She fights first. He asks why she is running now. So what if he is inconsistent. So is she. They started this dance, one pulls away, one follows. Now it's his turn. He wants to follow. For the record, he isn't looking for any guarantees. And he isn't going to make any. Hannah says that she understands and than leaves saying that she has to get back to work.

Hannah goes back inside looking a little flushed. Sonny follows her and suggests that she take the rest of the evening off since things are kind of slow. She thanks Sonny and accepts his offer of his car and driver to take her home.

At Jason's, Carly is repairing her face while she tells Jason how humiliating it is to psyche herself up to seduce him and then be rejected. Jason's asks why she did it. Carly says that she did it because she isn't stuck in the past like he is. It didn't work before because of Robin. Jason points out that she tried to blackmail him. Carly accuses him of not trusting her. Jason says that he trusts the way things are now. Jason explains that when they first met, they did what felt good and when it didn't feel good anymore he told her. There was nothing to lose. She was mad, but he didn't care. Everyone involved was an adult. Now there is Michael who is caught in the middle. He won't let her use Michael as a weapon against him. Carly says that she isn't mad this time because she is the one who convinced him that they couldn't be friends if they slept together. He would rather have him as a friend. She would rather have both. She wants to prove that they can have both. Jason tells her not to try to prove anything. Just accept it. Carly says that she doesn't plan on sneaking into his room on a regular basis. Once a year is enough for her, but she is right. He is really good for her, and he may not believe it, but she is good for him too. Jason tells her to go home. Carly says that she is home. She doesn't live at the Q's, she is stuck there temporarily. Jason tells her to go the Q's, he has something to do. Carly asks if it is dangerous. When Jason doesn't answer, Carly tells him to call her when it is over so she knows that he is safe. As they leave, Carly points out that what she had in mind would have been nicer for both of them.

At the Hardy house, Nikolas offers a glass of water to Liz who apologizes for being upset. Nikolas says that she doesn't have to feel sorry for being sad. It's better than pretending that she doesn't feel anything at all. He was worried about her after the first day. Liz says that this whole thing reminds her of when she fell of her bike when she was eight. At first, she didn't feel anything, but then she hurt everywhere and all she could do was sit on the ground and cry. At the fire, she was afraid to feel anything. She knew when she did that she would feel everything and without Lucky to help her, she would drown. Nikolas says that she is too strong to drown. Liz says that she isn't strong. Lucky made her strong, he gave her that. He gave her everything and now it's all gone. Nikolas says that Lucky just made the good in her better. He made her beleive in a gift she already had. He didn't give her strength or talent, he just nurtured it. Even without Lucky, she is the artist. Liz says that she isn't an artist anymore. She already tried. One night she was thinking about Lucky when he used to sleep on the floor by her bed. She could almost see him she wanted it so bad. She couldn't sleep so she decided to try to draw Lucky how she remembered him, but she couldn't even lift the pencil off the page. Nikolas tells Liz that she needs to try again. She needs to keep practicing It's like when he had to learn to speak all over. Something just came along and took a part of him away. Just like her painting and drawing was a part of her that was taken away. It really isn't gone, just asleep, waiting for her to heal. Nikolas takes Liz's hand in his own (Am I the only one who thinks Nik is being WAY too touchy feely with Liz. I mean really, Lucky is barely cold in his grave as far as anyone in PC knows! Hands off Nik. Liz will always be Lucky's girl! Sorry for the editorial, but I couldn't take it anymore) and tells her that if she believes that Lucky gave her her talent and strength, that's a gift she gets to keep. She is Lucky's legacy. The best thing Lucky ever did. She has to prove that Lucky was right.

Tammy asks Luke if he is still living above the club. Luke asks if she is planning on paying him a visit. Tammy says that she was wondering about Laura and where she is in all of this. Luke says that he and Laura were through before Lucky died. Losing Lucky sort of sank the life boat. Tammy says that she would have thought that Luke and Laura would have turned to each other. Luke says that Laura doesn't want him anymore. She has moved on. She is a survivor. She will manage somehow. Tammy asks what about Luke. Luke says that he is a cat who always lands on his feet. Right now he is still falling, and the other night she caught him. Luke says that he has had enough cheese fries for one night and offers Tammy a ride home.

Stefan and Laura have finished their meal. Laura apologizes for not being very good company. Stefan suggests that they leave and Laura agrees. As they walk out, Jerry arrives and finds Jax waiting for him in the bar. Jerry asks if Jax got a chance to speak to Stefan. Jax says that he thinks Stefan bought his story. He laid it on pretty thick about how intimidated he was by Helena. He is sure that once Stefan finds out that he is inquiring about ELQ stock, he will be convinced and so will Helena. Than Helena and Stefan will turn on each other and fight to a stand still. Then they can blindside them. Jerry agrees that it is a brilliant strategy.

In London, the receptionist tells Felicia that Chloe Morgan is running late and won't be able to speak with her. On cue, Chloe rushes out of her office on her way to a ball. Her receptionist stops her with last minute instructions and notices that she isn't wearing any shoes. Chloe says that she couldn't find them and is ready to go without since her dress is long enough to cover her feet. Felicia walks up holding a pair of shoes and offers to give them to Chloe in exchange for five minutes of her time. Chloe looks happy and intrigued.

Sonny and Jason are together in a car watching the warehouse. Sonny asks if Jason is sure that they weren't followed because Taggert has been on his case. Jason asks if Hannah got rid of him again. Sonny tells Jason how Hannah tried again to defend him to Taggert but he stopped her. He doesn't want Hannah involved in his business. Jason tells Sonny that he will tell Hannah to stay away, but Sonny tells him not to bother. Hannah can make up her own mind about him.

At the Q's, Carly rushes down the stairs to find AJ waiting. She tells AJ that she just checked on Michael who is sleeping soundly. AJ is glad to hear that Michael is fine and says that he has something to show Carly. He leads Carly into the living room which is decorated with glowing candles (another aside, what is with the candle fetish lately?). Carly asks what the occasion is and AJ tells her that he isn't sure that there is one. She will have to decide. He motions Carly to sit on the couch and sits down next to her. He tells her that he has given this a lot of thought. They made something wonderful together, but he wants them to have more. A life together. He hands Carly a small box. She is speechless when she opens the box to reveal a HUGE diamond ring. AJ asks Carly if she will marry him.

Nikolas is laughing as he looks at Liz's picture of Wyndemere. He can't believe she thinks it is beautiful. She must really be an artist. She sees beauty where noone else does. Liz explains that art schools like ruins and Wyndemere was the closest thing to a ruin that PC has. Nikolas asks if she would sell the painting, he would like to give it to his father. As he starts to put the painting back into the box he notices an envelope. He pulls it out and tells Liz that it is addressed to her. Liz says that it is either and acceptance or rejection letter. Nikolas asks if she wants to see if she got in.

Faison tells Lucky that he believes that he has outlined the situation so that even Lucky can understand. He won't escape. Lucky says maybe not the first time, or the time after that, but he will eventually. There is no way that Faison will keep him there. Faison says that he had hoped it wouldn't come to this. He mimic what Lucky says and asks if that is a threat. So uncivilized. He says that since Lucky insists...he turns on TV and Lucky sees Liz in the church before his memorial service. As Lucky watches, Faison says that he believes that Lucky knows the young lady. It's heart breaking really. So sad. So young. It would be even sadder if such youth, such beauty, such potential were snuffed out because Lucky was too stubborn to cooperate. Lucky watches in shock, trying to hide his growing anger and despair, as he realizes what Faison is threatening to do if he doesn't play along.
