Lisa Vultaggio
Port Charles Presence
Hannah Scott (March 26, 1999 to March 23, 2001)
At A Glance

Born in Vancouver, Canada, Lisa was raised with a strong Italian upbringing. Always a performer, she began singing at the Italian Cultural Center in Vancouver at the age of five.

At age seven, she found her passion for acting after watching Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet. "I would recite monologues and entire passages from the play," recalls Lisa of her newfound love. Shakespearean tragedies were not Lisa's only material -- Lisa possesses an uncanny ability to do impressions, impersonating with impeccable precision such well-known celebrities as Tina Turner, Mick Jagger, Madonna, Marilyn Monroe and Cher. Throughout high school, Lisa studied drama and performed in several high-school productions. During her senior year, she was discovered by an agent while starring in a production of Early Frost. She immediately began studying acting at the renowned Breck Academy in Vancouver.

Television work came in steadily for the Canadian actress. She booked her first job, a guest-starring role on Street Justice, in only four months.

In less than one year, she co-starred with Christopher Reeve in the television movie, Mortal Sins. She went on to guest star in such hit television series as The X-Files, Millennium, Highlander, Lonesome Dove, and The Commish, to name a few. She also co-starred in the television movie, A Killer Among Friends, and starred in the title role in The Anissa Ayala Story. She also continued to pursue another dream -- singing. Lisa underwent extensive singing training for five years in Vancouver, before moving to Los Angeles.

After nearly five years of pursuing her dream in Vancouver, Lisa made the momentous decision to move to Los Angeles. Within one year, she guest-starred on such television shows as Melrose Place and Murder, She Wrote, among others. She continued to study her craft with acting coach Paul E. Richards. Destined to be on ABC Daytime, Lisa flew to New York in November of 1998 to screen test for the part of Raquel on All My Children. While she did not get that role, just four months later she landed the part of Hannah on General Hospital.

Lisa resides in Los Angeles and in her spare time loves going to the beach, reading spiritual books, yoga and salsa dancing.
