In March 2004, Catherine made her soap opera debut on General Hospital.

Before moving to Los Angeles for the role, Wadkins lived in New York City, where she attended Circle in the Square Theater School and appeared in Arthur Miller's The Man Who Had All The Luck, which was performed at the American Airlines Theatre in 2002. Her other credits include a brief appearance on the primetime series The Education of Max Bickford on CBS, and film roles in Men of Honor and, most recently, the made-for-television movie Helter Skelter, to be released on May 16, 2004.

In her free time, Catherine enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She resides in Los Angeles.
