Josh and Reva find the real Teri DeMarco comatose at a clinic. However later, thanks to Alan, no one at the clinic will confirm their story. Danny reminds his mother that because of the "family code" she cannot harm Michelle. Jesse finds Michelle and wants to go to the police, but fearing for his safety, Michelle tells him that she's in love with Danny and marries Danny in a church ceremony.. Ben walks in on Blake arguing with her mother and Blake informs him that Holly is the stalker. Blake convinces Holly to check herself into a mental health facility; unaware that Ben is arranging to make her stay a permanent one Frank arrests Teri. Carmen hires Jesse to break up Danny and Michelle. However, Danny is falling for Michelle and warns Jesse to quit his new job or he'll have him killed. To drive Jesse, Michelle drives him away by setting it up for him to find her and Danny in bed together. Hart tells Dinah she's never to come to the farm ever again. Cassie learns that the baby Dinah lost was not Hart's and tells Dinah she intends to tell Hart. Desperate, Dinah grabs a gun, intending to use it on Cassie; however, Hart takes the bullet instead.

Josh learns that Reva is being charged with Treason for the abduction of Prince Richard's son, a crime punishable by death. Danny agrees to help Josh rescue Reva. In San Cristobel, Reva faints upon seeing a portrait of herself. She's told by Prince Richard that he nursed her back to health after her dive off the bridge and she took on the identity of Catherine. Eventually the fell in love and she bore him a son, Jonathan. Harley stands by Blake as she considers an abortion for all the wrong reasons. David and Vicky both consider careers with the Santos family. Drew proceeds with Max's adoption, and decides to search for her birth father. Ben confides to Carmen about his own childhood abuse his adoption, and attachment to Max's case. Buzz admits his feelings for Selena. Susan taunts Beth about Jim's trip and informs her that Cassie is also out of town.

Ben confides in Carmen that Drew may be his daughter. Ben and Selena bond. Buzz is determined to get Ben out of their lives and tampers with the results of Ben's paternity test. Phillip, Danny, Frank and David all put their plan in motion to nail Ben and other Santos family members, but the plan backfires, and Bill and Vicky end up the victims. Phillip has to eat crow. Pilar tells Danny that she is the one responsible for Selena's accident. Michelle and Danny find a way to make their marriage work in spite of Carmen's interference. Selena gets some feeling back in her legs. Matt, Vanessa, Billy, and Pilar all work to get Bill out of jail and revenge on Ben.

Harley helps Blake settle into the Spaulding cabin and suggests Blake use her time by writing a romance novel. With nothing else to do, Blake starts writing. Ben tells Selena and Buzz that he's scheduled a DNA to see if Drew is his daughter. Unnerved at the idea of Ben being a part of their lives, Buzz alters the test. Phillip gives Vicky a new project at Spaulding and later accuses her of leaking information to Ben. David later confesses to Vicky that he leaked the information as part of his investigation. Pilar tells Danny her part in Selena's accident. Cassie and Reva argue over her decision to hide Jonathan away and Richard turns his back on Olivia for her part of it. Ben sets it for Bill to be caught computer hacking at SanCorp.

Buzz is outraged that Ben lied to Selena and Drew that his DNA is positive (Buzz changed the test to negative), but Harley convinces Buzz that he was wrong to keep Drew from her father, and to do the right thing and accept Ben. Ben, Selena and Drew celebrate at their good news. Blake fantasizes about Ross and Holly's relationship in "romance novel" style while at the cabin. Beth's well intended apology to Cassie goes awry, and Cassie is reminded that she is alone and broke, and that she has Richard on her mind. Jim finally convinces Beth that their relationship is secure. Olivia and Reva are melancholy over Richard. Richard is determined to find Reva and ends up at the farm. Cassie inadvertently tells Richard that Reva is at Cross Creek. Billy threatens Ben. Bill is roughed up in jail, and later pleads guilty and accepts a plea bargain in exchange for his freedom. Vanessa's health problems resurface. Olivia gives up on Richard, but warns Josh that Reva is not free of Richard. Ben threatens David via Vicky. Carmen disowns Danny after he tells her that he wants out of the family business

Michelle and Carmen reconcile and come to an understanding about Danny. Richard arrives at Cross Creek and he and Reva share loving memories and passion as Josh and Cassie walk in on their comprising situation. Richard explains that they were in a heated conversation about unfinished business with Jonathan, but to no avail. Reva and Cassie daydream about Richard. Josh is uncertain of his future with Reva. Drew plans a family dinner with new dad, Ben. Drew confides in Ben about Jesse's lies, but Jesse talks his way out of it, but he can't fool Michelle. Ben and Danny have words, and Ben is out for revenge and enlists Theresa to help him. Bill is detained in jail for striking the guard, but before he is sent to trial, Pilar use her Santos clout and gets Bill off, but the price is that she ends her relationship with Bill. Harley befriends Olivia not realizing Reva is the other woman. Harley convinces Buzz to tell Ben he is really Drew's father. Ben plans to get even with Buzz and discredit him in Selena's eyes. Unaware that Buzz really tampered with Ben's paternity results, Carmen tells Selena that Ben is not Drew's father to Ben's displeasure. Danny embarks on a career in the music business with Drew and Theresa's help. Richard decides to stay on in Springfield with his own agenda for Reva, as Edmund and his subjects in San Cristobel rebel. Reva continues to cover her feelings for Richard to Josh, Cassie and even herself.

Danny leaves for LA with Theresa in hot pursuit. Selena and Drew learn of Buzz's betrayal regarding Ben. Josh and Reva try to get back to normal, but learn Richard is still in town. Phillip and Richard meet about business. Olivia and Josh commiserate about the loves of their lives and almost do something they regret. Buzz and Ben have it out over Selena. Blake continues her novel at the cabin regarding Holly and Ross's "fantasy" love affair. Carmen just can't stay away from Ben. Reva and Cassie are shocked to see each other at Richard's hotel room. Cassie forces Reva to leave with her (for the sake of Reva's marriage), but Reva tells Cassie to mind her own business. Pilar confesses to father Ray about her misdeeds and later calls it off for good with Bill. Reva confides in Billy about her feelings for Richard. Richard shares his happiest moments about Reva with Cassie. Richard and Cassie break up a romantic moment for Josh and Reva to tell them that Edmund is on the loose. Cassie, trying to empathize with Reva, admits that she feels something for Richard, but Reva's reaction is jealousy that is plainly obvious to Josh. Reva lies to Josh about her feelings for Richard not hurt Josh, but Cassie knows the truth and warns Reva again that she is headed for trouble!! Marah and Shane return from Paris and are startled to hear the news about their mother's former life with Richard. Richard learns of Cassie's financial predicament and anonymously covers her loan. Harley helps Blake visit the twins and encourages Blake to find out the real truth about Ross and Holly. Selena makes a decision and accepts Buzz's offer with no strings attached. Drew is convinced Jesse's is having an affair.

Josh and Reva tell Marah and Shane about Reva's past life with Prince Richard and Jonathan. Josh and Marah are hurt and disappointed to find Reva at Richard's cocktail party at the country club...even though Reva tells them she went there to finish things with Richard and convince him to return to S.C. Cassie admits to Blake that she has feelings for Richard. Blake stills has the wrong idea about Ross and Holly who accidentally find the manuscript to Blake's novel. Reva finally tells Josh what happened at Cross Creek with Richard. Drew learns Jesse's plan to convert to Judaism and they make plans to marry. Olivia and Richard say goodbye, and she warns Cassie not to be caught in Richard's charm. Ben makes Jesse feel inadequate for Drew. Selena starts her therapy at Buzz's place. Susan is lovestruck over Max and begs Harley to send her to Paris. Cassie feels Reva's anger when Reva learns Richard covered her loan and tells Cassie to stop interfering with Josh, Marah, and Richard. Unaware of what is going on, Cassie goes to Richard for answers. Instead, she is on a jet to S.C. in what appears to a "romantic fantasy." Ross, Billy and Matt quit Lewis Oil for Reva. Vanessa' illness returns. Michelle and Theresa go head to head over Danny. Pilar has Ben where she wants him. After painful and soulful discussions, Josh and Reva try to put their marriage back together.

Reva takes Cassie's kids and tries to convince herself and Josh that Cassie ran off with Richard. Reva is rude to Olivia and challenges Josh to be with her if he wants to even the score! Cassie follows Richard to the plane to refuse the loan, and ends up in SC in the middle of an uprising, but saves the day with a heartfelt plea to his people. Cassie returns home and she and Reva "agree to disagree" about Richard and get on with their lives. Reva admits to Marah that she is having problems dealing with her past and doesn't mean to hurt the people she loves. Cassie is robbed of all her valuables, and Sam is likely suspect. Holly offers help, but Cassie refuses and reverts to her own ways to save the farm and get out of debt. Danny tells Theresa that Michelle is the love of his life. Ben and Carmen continue to plot to split up Danny and Michelle. Ben suggests Theresa drug Danny...and she does at Millennium. Drew learns of Ben's manipulation of Jesse and is devastated. However, after Selena's warning to Ben, he apologizes to Jesse and Drew and all is well. Phillip offers Beth a promotion to Jim's displeasure. After talking, Jim and Beth agree to live together; she thinks the mansion, he thinks his house. Susan agrees to help Beth convince Jim to move into the mansion after Beth covered for Susan and Max. Max tells Susan they are only friends. Pilar and her grandmother plot to trap Ben. Ben catches Pilar in his apartment, but she talks her way out of it and manages to leave incriminating evidence behind. Richard and Edmund finally appear to call a truce until old memories push Edmund to the breaking point. Ross and Blake finally come face to face.

Edmund threatens Richard, but Richard gets the upper hand and control of SC. Richard and Spaulding hold a press conference to announces plans for the new factory. Dax convinces Richard to use the occasion to announce his plans to remarry. Olivia and Cassie hear the news and wonder who will be the new princess. At Cross Creek, Reva and Josh remember all they have been through to be together and make love After second thoughts, Cassie starts her old job as a stripper, and holds back asking Harley for the loan. Danny almost dies after Theresa drugs him. A hysterical Theresa confesses to Michelle that Ben Warren is responsible. Carmen learns of Pilar's so-called passion for Ben and accuses him of seducing her daughter. After an ugly fight, Ben threatens to move out, but Carmen begs him to stay and demands Pilar seek professional help. Pilar is stunned when Carmen chooses Ben over her. Pilar comforts Bill about Vanessa's illness, but he later learns of her relationship with Ben and interprets her motives and intentions as another betrayal. Bill and Michelle discuss their hatred for Ben. Drew and Ben share an emotional and heartwarming visit as they discuss family, love and happiness. Michelle threatens Ben. Beth asks Jim to marry her before they move in together, and he refuses. Buzz and Selena make up. Bill lies to Vanessa about school, and she later collapses. Blake's manuscript reveals more about her real identity than she realized. Holly and Ross commiserate over their love life or lack of it. Blake's book is a hit in the journal. Blake emails info to Holly and accidentally uses her real name.

Reva's apology to Cassie backfires when she thinks Cassie is Richard's new bride to be. Richard refuses Olivia's marriage proposal. Reva flies to SC to assumable protect Cassie from Richard, and returns home to only to blame Cassie again for her marriage wows because she is trying to protect her. Josh overhears the conversation and walks out on Reva. Cassie tells Reva if this is really what she thinks, and orders her to leave and get out of her life. Cassie's friend makes her think twice about having Richard in her future. Josh packs his bags and leaves Reva, but has an emotional moment with Marah, who later blames Reva, calls her mother a tramp and runs off. Richard and Dax arrive in Springfield to talk to Cassie about marriage, but instead discover that she is working as a stripper to pay the bills. Cassie's boss wants more from her than dancing after she decides to quit. Danny learns Ben was behind Theresa's actions to drug him. Ben convinces Drew he is innocent. Michelle's forced, but damaging testimony at Max's custody hearing, and Drew's revelation to the court that Ben is her father, almost ruins her chances to adopt Max. Ben's unselfish act and Ross' s moving testimony convince the judge to approve the adoption. Pilar and Carmen face off over Ben. Pilar confesses to Ray about her plan to get Ben. Vanessa is hospitalized after a confrontation with Carmen. Pilar vows to Vanessa that she will get Ben. Pilar and grandma Santos set up Carmen and Ben for the finale. Blake breaks into the house and steals Holly's laptop to keep her identity a secret. Holly and Ross get closer. Jim and Beth struggle with the status of their relationship.

Richard saves Cassie from Earl at the strip club. Cassie is both grateful and humiliated by Richard's heroics. Richard asks Cassie to marry him. Cassie seeks Harley's advice regarding Richard's proposal. After careful thought, and for different reasons, Cassie and Richard decide not to marry.....then after more thought decide they should reconsider. Reva tricks Josh into moving back in with her and the kids. Josh cancels his dinner date with Olivia, who takes this final rejection a step too far. Reva reacts as predicted to Richard's marriage proposal to Cassie. Max's adoption celebration party is saddened by the news of Ben's murder. Thinking she murdered Ben, and then learning the depth of Pilar's plans to get rid of Ben, Carmen skillfully plays the role of the wounded and turns the police investigation away from her and Pilar. Danny becomes suspicious of Pilar's guilt and emotional state over Ben's death. Danny is concerned that Michelle has no alibi for the time frame of the murder. Vanessa's role in Ben's murder is overshadowed by her relapse into a coma. Drew and family mourn Ben's death. Blake learns of Ben's death from Ross. Ross learns positive and surprising details about Ben's life.

Drew seeks out Carmen's help to find out who murdered Ben. Carmen convinces an emotional Pilar to set up Michelle for Ben's murder, and plants incriminating evidence and a witness to seal Michelle's fate. Michelle then becomes a major suspect in Ben's murder. Family and friends gather at Ben's memorial as Drew is overcome with grief. Danny is offered a job in LA. Reva alienates most of her family and friends, and she and Josh continue to argue over her obsession that Richard can't go on without her. Josh saves Olivia from a suicide attempt. Reva, unaware of Olivia's situation, suspects the worst of both of them, but then reluctantly invites Olivia to Thanksgiving dinner to apologize for her suspicions. Cassie accepts Richard's marriage proposal, and they make plans for the announcement of the royal nuptials in SC, with Phillip and Harley to join the festivities. In Springfield, Reva seethes over Cassie's engagement. Holly and Ross finally learn that Blake is pregnant.

Michelle's bail is denied. Michelle confides in Jesse and tells him that she doesn't have an alibi the night Ben was murdered, but that she is innocent. Drew wants revenge and is hurt and angry that Jesse believes Michelle. Selena tries to level off Drew's emotions. Pilar confesses to Ray. Rick and Danny play act at the police station to find out the name of the eye witness. Meanwhile, Carmen works on Ruth to make sure she sticks to her story. Just as Danny finds Ruth, Carmen knocks Danny unconscious to keep him from finding out the truth. Danny is arrested. Could Carmen have seen the light as she appears to bond with Michelle in jail blaming herself for all their problems! Reva and Josh continue to fight over just about everything -- specifically Olivia, and Richard, and Cassie's engagement to Richard. Reva confides in Selena about her and Josh, and is surprised that even she feels Reva is at fault. Josh and Reva have a long talk about their relationship and come to the sad conclusion that their future may be without each other. Alan arrives in SC to jumpstart the search for Phillip, Beth and Jim. Buzz also agrees to help Harley, but as his plan goes awry, Harley learns from one of Edmund's deserters that Jim is alive and that the plane crashed on the other side of Mt. Winslow. The search plane triggers an avalanche and traps Beth and Phillip inside the plane. The search is called off, and Beth and Phillip realize that time is running out. They decide to record a farewell message to their family and friends on the camcorder in the plane. As emotions run high, Phillip and Beth drift back to the past and a time of happiness. In a moment of despair thinking that they may not make it, they comfort each other and begin to make love -- and the record button is still activated! Jim escapes from the Edmund's camp and is determined to find Beth and Jim. Edmund finds him, but Jim offers Edmund a deal he can't refuse and they set off to rescue Phillip and Beth. Cassie is homesick and lonely for her family; especially Reva. Richard encourages her to call Reva. As they talk about Reva, Cassie realizes that Richard still cares very deeply for Reva, and she begins to question her decision to marry Richard. Ross, Holly and Blake continue their odd living arrangement.

Michelle's defense begins as she is forced to consider a plea bargain. Father Ray tries to convince Michelle to continue to plead innocent and trust in justice without breaking Pilar's confidence regarding Ben's murder. Carmen, distraught over Pilar's emotional state, decides to confess, but has a change in heart after Danny's release from jail and he tells her that it was a second bullet that killed Ben. Pilar doesn't want to hear it, and unable to live with Carmen or her guilt, packs her bags and leaves. Drew and family celebrate Chanukah. Holly walks in on a special moment between Ross and Blake as they reminisce about the past. Ross almost discovers that Blake is Darlena. Blake then learns the truth about Ross and Holly's recent relationship, and that she is the one that actually pushed them together. Blake decides to leave town with the boys. Thinking they were going to die, Phillip and Beth make love on the plane. Shortly thereafter, Jim, Phillip and Beth are rescued. Harley thanks Beth for taking care of Phillip, unaware of their "romantic tryst." Beth can't seem to forget about Phillip. Phillip realizes that their lovemaking was recorded and the videotape is missing. After questioning the guards, Phillip tries to convince himself and Beth that the tape was lost or destroyed, and not to worry. Jim proposes to Beth, and she accepts, but with less enthusiasm as even she expected. Cassie employs Phillip's help to spare Edmund's life in a way to relieve Richard's conscience, but still permit him to execute his duties as ruler of SC. Richard is grateful to Cassie and gives her an engagement ring. Josh and Reva tell Maura and Shane that they are separating. Angry and hurt, Marah blames Reva and wants to move in with Josh, Shane sympathizes with Reva. Josh and Reva are reminded of past holidays and happier times as they both struggle with their decision to live apart. Buzz tells Reva about the plane crash and fills her in about Richard and Cassie. Reva can't seem to think about anything else except her unresolved feelings for Richard. Reva admits she is confused, and is angry that everyone blames her for loving and caring about two wonderful men and the life and happiness she shared with each of them. Buzz advises Reva to think carefully about her future, but to act quickly whatever her decision before it is too late for everyone. Reva calls Richard and tells him that she has left Joshua. As Phillip, Harley and Richard are about to enter Edmund's room and tell the good news about the exile plan, and his position at Spaulding, Edmund is viewing the videotape from the crash, and learns that Beth and Phillip made love.

Friends and family learn of Josh and Reva's separation. Marah has some quality time with Reva and better understands the situation about her parents' relationship. Cassie and Reva face off over Richard, and their respective feelings for him. They attempt a truce for the holidays. Edmund accepts Phillip's offer and returns to Springfield to begin his new life. Beth and Edmund strike up a friendship, as his plan to use the "videotape" for his own merits takes shape. Blake a.k.a Darlena finishes her novel. Harley visits Blake and urges her to call Ross and tell him the truth once and for all. A disgusted Ross tells Holly that Blake is Darlena and that she has left town with the boys. Ross learns from Harley that Blake is at the Bauer cabin. Holly, who has read the end of the novel, puts the pieces together and tells Ross that he is the baby's father, and explains why Blake has been acting so strangely for all these months. Ross arrives at the cabin as Blake goes into labor. Vanessa responds to Carmen's visit. Carmen suspects that Vanessa may have murdered Ben. Olivia and Josh's friendship grows stronger. Jesse and Drew try to forget about Michelle's trial, and enjoy some time together. Michelle makes a decision about her defense. Danny convinces Ross to defend Michelle. Buzz pushes Selena in her therapy and challenges her to dance with him on New Year's Eve. Selena has feeling in her legs, but holds back not to disappoint Buzz. Buzz hosts Christmas Eve for his family and friends and many residents of Springfield receive some very special gifts: Blake gives birth to a beautiful daughter with Ross by her side, Selena gives Drew a special birthday/Christmas wish: she will walk down the aisle on Drew's wedding day, Frank arranges a special night for Danny and Michelle, Josh and Cassie surprise Reva and spend the holidays as real family, Reva receives word of Jonathan.
