Ed Bauer Set to Return

Though he had repeatedly turned down request to return to Guiding Light, Peter Simon (ex
Ed Bauer) has apparently had a change of heart.
As previously reported by
soapcentral
.com, GL execs had asked some of the show's veteran performers who worked with Simon during his 15-year run on the show to call him and urge him to return to the program. Simon had declined on more than one occasion to return to GL, but this new onslaught seems to have worked.
Simon, who has signed a long-term contract with the show, will make his return on May 9th.
Simon played Ed from 1981 to 1984 and again from 1986 to 1996.
