A Connecticut native, Cosgrove landed the role of Scott Chandler on ABC's All My Children in 1996. Though this was the actor's first major daytime role. Prior to landing the role of Scott, Cosgrove served as a bailiff in the New Haven County Sheriff's Department. He's also been a model for a number of years and feels right at home in front of the camera.
Daniel left AMC in late 1998 to pursue an opporunity on the primetime soap, Beverly Hills 90210. In the Summer of 2002, he returned to New York to take the role of Bill Lewis on Guiding Light.
