DDG is prepared to cough up $2 million to get IShowSpeed to make an appearance in his music video.

In his latest livestream, the rapper reflected on how much he would be willing to shell out to get the streaming legend to make a cameo for him. Settling on $2 million for a three-hour shoot, he called on IShowSpeed to "let him know" if he would be down.

Fans have since begun reacting to it with varied sentiments. Here's what one user claimed, for instance:

"Speed will probably do it for free"

The comments didn't end there, though scores pointed out that IShowSpeed is a longtime fan of DDG:

"DDG has always been top notch, I think this would be a nice payday and even more exposure for bro, Super wise choice if you ask me, Glad to see people wanting to collab," one user penned.
"Speed wouldn't do it for the money, he would do it cuz he loves the person so I guess for DDG," another pointed out.
"$2M just to be in the Video is Crazy," someone else opined.
"Man ain’t get that much money," one user quipped.

The comments didn't end there, with some netizens unsure if DDG would actually pay that sum or if IShowSpeed would be asking for more.

"This stingy guy ain't giving no 2M to nobody," one user dissed.
"Might as well give him a feature," someone else suggested.
"Too little for speed," another quipped.

Here's what DDG had to say to IShowSpeed:

DDG was on Twitch promoting his upcoming album Blame the Chat when he suggested the idea of Speed showing up for a cameo. He was referencing a music video for a song of the same name featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Rich the Kid.

“Speed, if I wanted to get you in the ‘Speed’ music video, how much is it gonna cost me?” he asked. “How much you gonna charge me, Speed?”

DDG went on, noting that he would be willing to shell out upward of seven figures for the same:

“I know YouTube ain’t got subs, I know they got members. I come in roughly around like $2 million,” he said. “2 million dollars, three-hour shoot, quick little cameo — take you 40 minutes of your time. You let me know, brother.”

Just last week, he told spectators during a livestream how hard he works to earn every penny he owns:

“I have to make money. Bills are high,” he told his fans. “Did I tell you how much my bills is a month? N—a, my bills high as sh–. If I don’t work, I’mma go broke ASAP.”

Adding,

“Like, I have to work. I don’t have a choice. It ain’t ’bout me trying to pocket some money. I have multiple homes, multiple cars. I have family. I have a child. I spend a lot of money.”

DDG's Blame the Chat is slated to drop today, Friday, May 2.
