Meredith had a serious blood disorder and learned that she was not expected to live. Larry had known about this and, not wanting to upset her (women were very delicate back then) hid the information from her. She was distraught over this and distanced herself from him. Meanwhile, she met amnesia victim Tom Edwards who worked at The Banner for Victor.
On Sunday, April 2nd, a fundraiser was held at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Cherry Hill, NJ to benefit The Gabriel Project, which brings children from third-world countries to the United States for life-saving surgery. To support this cause, OLTL's Jason-Shane Scott (Will) and Don Jeffcoat (Joey), AMC's Finola Hughes (Alex), Esta TerBlanche (Gillian) and Cameron Mathison (Ryan) and DAYS Matt Cedeno (Brandon Walker) attended the event.
The evening started full of hope for OLTL fans. After all, the show already won four technical Emmys, which was four more awards than they'd won the year before. After Sarah Brown (Carly, GH) had won her third Emmy, this one for Outstanding Supporting Actress, OLTL's first chance at an award arrived in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category. Timothy Gibbs (Kevin, OLTL) was up against Steve Burton (Jason, GH), Cristian LeBlanc (Michael, Y&R), Kristoff St. John (Neil, Y&R) and Shemar Moore (Malcolm, Y&R). As one of Gibb's submitted clips was shown, of Kevin telling off everyone at Thanksgiving dinner in the wake of Grace's death, a win seemed likely. But when the award was announced, the Emmy went to Shemar Moore of Y&R.
Recently, One Life to Live Online had the privilege of submitting your questions to Christine Toy Johnson, who has played Detective Lisa West on One Life to Live since 1998.

Trouble is coming to Llanview and Rae's husband, Daniel Faulkner, is at the center of it. After months of tormenting Rae, leading her on a fruitless search for her daughter from Llanview to Pine Valley to Port Charles and back to Llanview again, Daniel finally made an appearance. But instead of revealing the name of Rae's real daughter, he demands one million dollars from her, money which will help him get the mob off his back. But the mob catches up to Daniel too soon, and the innocent (and not so innocent) citizens of Llanview get caught in the crossfire.
With the advent of the Internet, it's easier than ever for rumors and gossip to make the rounds. However, despite its flaws, the ‘net is also a great source for reliable information.
OLTL's Executive Producer, Jill Farren Phelps, will be stepping down at the end of this year to take over the Executive Producer position at General Hospital in January 2001.
In an amazing turn of events, Skye Chandler is in for the shock of her life. Her world is about to be turned upside-down.
