Tognoni Will Exit in August

In April of this year,
Gina Tognoni (
Kelly) announced that she would not renew her contract with One Life to Live when it expired. That contract is now in its final days.
Tognoni joined the Llanview crew in 1995 when she originated the role of Kelly Cramer.
At one time, Tognoni's name had been bandied about as a possible recast for
General Hospital's Carly, previously played by Emmy winner Sarah Brown. It is unclear how true these reports actually were and the role was filled by another actress, Tamara Braun.
According to at least one report, Tognoni is not avidly looking for another daytime television role. Her future projects remain unknown.
Tognoni will last appear on One Life to Live on August 14th.
